Silly Sunday

Sunday is the place to come for weekly laughs. The rules are simple, just have fun.

This is a great opportunity to get to know other bloggers and have a laugh or two in the process. Here is how it works: Laugh and Link Up!

A man walked in to a Topeka, Kansas Kwik Shop, and asked for all the money in the cash drawer. Apparently, the takings weren’t enough, so the man tied up the sales advisor and worked the counter himself – for three hours – until police showed up and grabbed him.

In Medford, Oregon, a 27-year-old jobless man with an MBA blamed his college degree for his murder of three people. “There are too many business grads out there,” he said. “If I had chosen another field, all this may not have happened.”

Police in Los Angeles had good luck with a robbery suspect who just could not control himself during a lineup. When detectives asked each man in the lineup to repeat the words, “Give me all your money or I”ll shoot,” the man shouted, “That is not what I said!”

    • I read about this idiot this morning. This post was already done. Now this is a huge idiot. You got to pick your audience. 🙂

    • There are so many stories about dumb criminals. There are smart criminals too, but mostly not. Thank goodness for that. 🙂

  1. LOL on that last one. He didn't want to be misquoted!! 🙂

And on a completely different note, I wanted to tell you about the boy.. our new'ish' neighbor. You warned me…though I knew, to be careful. He was kicked out of school last week permanently for 'relations' on school property, and last week he got caught trying to break into a neighbor's home. The police officer who lives next door told my husband today when they were out shoveling snow. 🙁 The boy's out and about, so I guess he didn't get locked up in juvie (or if he did it wasn't for long). Not being able to go to school isn't going to help matters for him (or the neighborhood), I'm afraid.

    • That first one was really wanting more money. The last one wasn't going to be misquoted. 🙂
