Pet rocks Seymour and Element have been steadfast in their belief that cake is to be eaten, and not merely had. I won’t argue with them on that one.

That saying about having your cake and eating too never made sense. Yes, why would you want cake if you can’t eat it? Unless you’re on a diet and have some serious self control.

      Sandee says:

I don’t have that kind of serious self control. Especially where ice cream is concerned. 🙂

Life is what you make of it and personally mine started out pretty messy. I mean when I got my divorce from my first husband I enrolled for Karate classes, so I guess that kinda tells the story. I just never wanted to be in a position ever again not knowing how to handle or protect myself. Not only did I learn Karate (& I was pretty good at it if I do say so myself) I also took some lessons on how to protect myself on the street from the best. I had lessons from a friend of mine that’s all he did was having to protect himself because he was a big guy everyone wanted to take him on. Sheesh, and he was my best friend for a very long time. I did have to protect myself a couple of times. Once I had to because my first husb. kidnapped my oldest son & I was ticked like you wouldn’t believe & I found him… told my son to get in the car & I took him on. Not only did I break his arm he was arrested for improper abduction. They wouldn’t charge him with kidnapping cuz he was his father. Man, was I made, but they didn’t arrest me either because he told them I did it, but the officer said he didn’t see me do it, but I said I didn’t do it either. Whew! Oh well, all water under the bridge it happened many years ago and besides he died from Cancer about 22 yrs. ago. Learning how to protect myself and my children was a challenge, but I’m not sorry I did it for sure. So, any time you need protection give me a call. hahahahahahaha I’ll protect you honey nooooooooooo problem. Love U Lots! Have a great night! HUGS

We are alike on that point. I’ve always been able to care for myself. Both physically and monetarily too. I never wanted to depend on a man for my room and board. Never did either. Love you sweetie. 🙂
