When you lose one of your nine lives it’s pretty tramatic. 🙂
LOL the dad cat is me with my students. I switched schools this year to be closer to home (used to teach out of county) and I’m not loving it. A good number of the kids are entitled, apathetic towards their academic, bullies, and outright prejudice. It’s a small school (vs a big one that I was in), and the kids here pull up in Lambos and Porsches (gives me anxiety just thinking of getting a child a car that fast and expensive). I’m not loving it and every single day, I look like that dad cat when I get home. So…I started out with a year I didn’t like, had half a dozen years I LOVED and now I’ll end my teaching career on a year I don’t like at all. I’ve come full circle. 🙂
