We didn’t allow bickering. If you started something you were asked to leave. It happened a couple of times. 🙂

  12. slugger708 – United States – I'm a professional humorist/children's writer, mother, friend, and cat owner, and the author of A Nice Place In The Sun. I write situational humor most of the time, but actually, there is no telling what I might turn out. I'm writing my first novel for adults, and I have children's book manuscripts, as well as short stories, traveling through the writers market. Most of my online work is posted on A Nice Place In The Sun, although I am published in local magazines, and continue to work toward traditional publication.

LOL these are cute. Holidays used to be so easy when the kids were all little and living at home. Now they’ve got spouses that want to go to their own families and going to two places is so hectic, so I celebrate early or later than the holidays so the kids can all come and not feel stressed out. Works for us and I don’t mind a bit. I love when the family is all together.

Excellent idea. I can remember going to three different houses on Thanksgiving one year. I was exhausted. Happy day, my friend. 🙂
