I agree with #1, and the child proof tops on some things are oldie proof too! I have never tried to ice skate because I was rubbish at roller skating. I figured falling on ice would be worse than falling on the ground.

  2. Rosey says:

Yes to all of these but the last one. I’ve never tried to ice skate. I was a pretty decent roller skater in my youth though. Discos for kids and roller skating rinks, lol, that’s what our town had and we all loved it. Sometimes you could even combine the two. 😉

    Wishing you a wonderful day!

It’s cold here too and we’re loving it. Summer is still hanging around in the afternoons, but not at night and in the mornings. Love you, Miss Molly. 🙂

Thankfully, there are lots of tools to help people open jars and they actually do work! Have a great weekend!

      Sandee says:

I agree that there are lots of tools that work, but trying to open a bottle of water and can’t is pretty sad. Scrithces to all your babies. 🙂

What a sweet little white fuzz ball.
I agree with the easy open jars. I stopped at a convenience store and bought a bottle of water one day. I got down the road a ways and tried to open it. It almost brought me to tears trying to get that bottle open.

Adorable kitten. Thank you for hosting Feline Friday and for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I used to roller skate, but could never ice skate. Have a great weekend. XO

      Sandee says:

I wasn’t very good at roller skating either. Ice skating was a huge failure. 🙂

Love this little furball. It’s 60 here this morning and I’m wearing a jacket. Loving it. Happy Friday and weekend, Eugenia. Hugs,. 🙂

  9. MadSnapper says:

At first I thought it was ME that struggled with jars and lids, but now I hand them to bob and he struggles also. he is super strong, so that makes me think they are doing something crazy when they seal the jar lids. I think shrink wrapped items should come with their own knife or scissors.

  10. Wing Commander Basil & The B Team – UK – Well, now there's a question! Furstly and most importantly I'm a cat if mew hadn't already guessed. I got my Wing Commander status in September 2018 but that hasn't slowed me up at all! I tweet, Instacat, FB, Tumble & Pin too and now there's Basil TV on YouTube. All in all I'm a thoroughly Modern Cat; a cat of the 21st century, mew might say. My human & Purrsonal Assistant aka P.A. is Cathrine Garnell, and she writes books including a tale about my fictional alter ego, Basil the Bionic Cat. [See Books Page] I live in a multi-cat household, and mew can meet the rest of The B Team here most days of the week, as they all like a turn on the blog. I like mice, but then don't we all? I also like fresh tuna, chicken and prawns. I LOVE catnip, not in any excess I might add before mew jump to any wild conclusions. Thanks so much for dropping by, as we The B Team, love making new furriends, so do leave us a comment and say hi.
Wing Commander Basil & The B Team says:

Supurr fill-ins, and I find the easy way to open jars is put on a pair of rubber gloves, more traction and grip! LOL Here’s wishing you an epically epic weekend and sending oodles of hugs and many purrs from The B Team!

  11. UP – Just me being me...not too crazy...just enough
    UP says:

Medicine bottles should come with flip tops for folks with motor skills difficulties like me!.
And just like that 2022 was3/4 over!_.
I get funny looks from others when I fold the walker UP and put it in the trunk.
I once tried to limbo, and I failed.

have a great weekend…thanks for donating the white chocolate

Love your fill-ins. I love your #1 the best. You’re welcome on the white chocolate donation. Happy day and weekend, Paul. 🙂

  12. Binky – Wombania – Wombie comic strips twice a week.
    Binky says:

They really need to make normal bottles for older people with no kids. The child proof tops aren’t really serving any purpose other than to frustrate people.

    • Sandee – California – Home of Awww Mondays, Happy Tuesday, and Wordless Wednesday.
      Sandee says:

I have a terrible time. I’m sure there is a purpose more then frustrating us old folks. The kids can open them just fine. 🙂

  13. pjack214 – Mom, Nana, part time photographer, artist in oils and crafts.
    Pam says:

I have always been a dog person, raised with one or more in the house. Not till 57 did I learn that cats are so much easier. I love felines.

    3. I get funny looks from others when I __dance in the store
    .
    4. I once tried to ____several things_____, and I failed.

Great fill-ins! I’m with you on them all. 💞 Baby kitty is adorable… Have a lovely weekend, Sandee! xo

  16. Meezan
    Meezan says:

Easy open options for jars are necessary for people with disabilities, too. Great fill-in. I tried to ice skate once too. I walk with crutches, so you can imagine how that went. LOL. It was always a dream of mine to ice skate however best I could. One day I told a friend about this dream and she helped make it happen for me the best way possible. I put on skates and had people who could skate help me on the ice. Even though I can’t really skate, it was such an amazing feeling just to have my feet touch the ice for the first time ever. 🙂

  20. Jen – Texas – My name is Jennifer, but my friends and family call me Jen. I live in the DFW area here in Texas. I am a 49-year-old mom of two not-so-little kids - T (22) and S (19). I have been married to my best friend and soulmate, Fabian, for 23 years. We share our home with three crazy hairballs named Korina, Tabitha, and Tumbledart, and a doggo named Zac. I love reading and started at a young age when first introduced to my mother's stash of Nancy Drew Mysteries. Then I developed an odd fascination for horror and became obsessed with Stephen King during my middle school years. It is still my favorite horror novel. I was in high school when the "romance" book bug took a bite. I read my first historical romance novel, Skye O'Malley, by Bertrice Small, and I never looked back. That was almost 30 years ago. I love history and the Dark Ages of Scotland and Britain, with Tudor England and Regency following close behind. I adore Jane Austen! My passion is still Historical Romance, although I will read just about any genre that strikes my fancy these days. I have been gaming since the days of Atari when I would sit and play Asteroids and Missile Command for hours, after homework, of course! I still recall my father getting our first computer and becoming enveloped in PC gaming with Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves and Oregon Trail. Consoles by Nintendo and the Play Station soon followed, and the rest is history. I introduced my children to gaming at a young age, and we have been gaming and playing together ever since. We mainly play PC games like Minecraft, Wizard101, Pirate101, Toontown Rewritten, and games on Roblox and Steam, but we also play on the Switch and PS4, too. I have been online, in some form or fashion, building a website or sharing my thoughts and musings for quite a few years.

It sure is astounding. Went by very rapidly. We’re going to our boat next Saturday to switch out the screens and put on the isinglass for the winter. We haven’t gone as much with all the remodeling. 🙂

      Sandee says:

I was terrible at roller skating and really terrible at ice skating. So sad.

Thanks for the link to the jar opener. Looks like it might be the solution to our jar issues. 🙂
