I agree with #1, and the child proof tops on some things are oldie proof too! I have never tried to ice skate because I was rubbish at roller skating. I figured falling on ice would be worse than falling on the ground.
We laugh often trying to get bottles open. It’s something else. 🙂
Yes to all of these but the last one. I’ve never tried to ice skate. I was a pretty decent roller skater in my youth though. Discos for kids and roller skating rinks, lol, that’s what our town had and we all loved it. Sometimes you could even combine the two. 😉

It’s cold here too and we’re loving it. Summer is still hanging around in the afternoons, but not at night and in the mornings. Love you, Miss Molly. 🙂

I agree with the easy open jars. I stopped at a convenience store and bought a bottle of water one day. I got down the road a ways and tried to open it. It almost brought me to tears trying to get that bottle open.
I’ve done that very thing more than once. It’s sad. 🙂

Yep, I use a lot of hot water and banging on counters and floors to get jars open.
Yes and yes. Me too. It doesn’t always work though. 🙂
At first I thought it was ME that struggled with jars and lids, but now I hand them to bob and he struggles also. he is super strong, so that makes me think they are doing something crazy when they seal the jar lids. I think shrink wrapped items should come with their own knife or scissors.
No it’s age and it’s just the way it is. We just laugh. What can you do. 🙂

They really need to make normal bottles for older people with no kids. The child proof tops aren’t really serving any purpose other than to frustrate people.
I have a terrible time. I’m sure there is a purpose more then frustrating us old folks. The kids can open them just fine. 🙂
I have always been a dog person, raised with one or more in the house. Not till 57 did I learn that cats are so much easier. I love felines.

Easy open options for jars are necessary for people with disabilities, too. Great fill-in. I tried to ice skate once too. I walk with crutches, so you can imagine how that went. LOL. It was always a dream of mine to ice skate however best I could. One day I told a friend about this dream and she helped make it happen for me the best way possible. I put on skates and had people who could skate help me on the ice. Even though I can’t really skate, it was such an amazing feeling just to have my feet touch the ice for the first time ever. 🙂

It sure is astounding. Went by very rapidly. We’re going to our boat next Saturday to switch out the screens and put on the isinglass for the winter. We haven’t gone as much with all the remodeling. 🙂
I entertained folks the last time I tried roller skating (a LONG time ago) and still share the funny memories with a friend. And that kitty is begging for a kiss. ~grin~ Meanwhile, my husband found an Oxo Goodgrips jar opener we adore. It’s rare when the simple gadget fails.
