I remember pot holes that big when I lived in PA. And I, too, hate mosquitos!
We have some huge ones here in California too. Mosquitos like me way to much. 🙂
The one about work is so funny. Mom can never get started working, she surfs around and avoids getting into her work stuff as long as she can. As for potholes, they are no joke. We had a bad accident hitting one we could not avoid a few years ago. Very nasty things they are!

Oh ick, does anyone like giving sample to mosquitoes?!? This is why we cats roll in the nip patch – it is a good insect repellent and doesn’t smell bad, either! …. If that first one was treats instead of cookies, it could be Ms. Purr’s motto… possibly Merlin’s too.

My Daddy used to say something that made me giggle. Any time there was an attempt to take a sample from his plate he would say, “do it and you’ll draw back a nub”. I can be around a hoard of people out doors but I’m the only one the ‘skeeters sample.

Yeah, I wonder why some people they just love to bite and others not so much. They love my daughter and grandaughter too, but I almost never get bit.
I agree with the statement about work. Even when I had a job I really liked I had no enthusiasm about getting up to go there. I love retirement💃
