Friendly Fill-ins

Each Thursday Ellen of 15andmeowing and Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs, provide Friendly Fill-in questions.

Ellen came up with the first two questions and Lorianne came up with the last two questions.

If you need help, please let either Ellen or Lorianne know.

Here are this weeks questions:
1. I would love to be a personal assistant to _____.
2. If I had a boat, I would name it _____.
3. I want to improve my ______.
4. Surprises are ___________.

Here are my answers:
1. I would love to be a personal assistant to no one. I’m allergic to work.
2. If I had a boat, I would name it Anewatee. That’s the name of our boat.
3. I want to improve my hair. Letting it grow out and it’s making me crazy.
4. Surprises are not encouraged. I don’t care for surprises.

    • I didn’t put the right time on my post. Instead of 12:10am, I put 10:10am. Bugger. Happy weekend, Marg. 🙂

    • Tuna, a toy, a treat, the red dot. Who knows. Have a great weekend. 🙂

  1. Such cute kittens. Thanks for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I always wanted to know the name of your boat. 🙂 You are too funny on #1 🙂 I am not a fan of surprises either. Have a wonderful weekend! XO

    • Annuity is how it’s pronounced. We often get asked in we are Indian. We laugh. You have a wonderful weekend too. 🙂

    • They may be saying just that, Paul. Happy weekend. 🙂

  2. Growing hair to whatever length you wish is a very human thing… we kitties don’t need to worry about that, our fur is either not there, short or long. Good luck on this growing thing.
Thank you for hosting this hop…. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
    Purrseidon

    • It’s coming along okay. It’s just at an awkward stage right now. It’s the worst piece of it. 🙂

    • You think so. I didn’t get that. They may be sad though. 🙂

    • You know how lazy I am Steve. I just don’t want to work at all. 🙂

  3. Wing Commander Basil & The B Team – UK – Well, now there's a question! Furstly and most importantly I'm a cat if mew hadn't already guessed. I got my Wing Commander status in September 2018 but that hasn't slowed me up at all! I tweet, Instacat, FB, Tumble & Pin too and now there's Basil TV on YouTube. All in all I'm a thoroughly Modern Cat; a cat of the 21st century, mew might say. My human & Purrsonal Assistant aka P.A. is Cathrine Garnell, and she writes books including a tale about my fictional alter ego, Basil the Bionic Cat. [See Books Page] I live in a multi-cat household, and mew can meet the rest of The B Team here most days of the week, as they all like a turn on the blog. I like mice, but then don't we all? I also like fresh tuna, chicken and prawns. I LOVE catnip, not in any excess I might add before mew jump to any wild conclusions. Thanks so much for dropping by, as we The B Team, love making new furriends, so do leave us a comment and say hi.
Wing Commander Basil & The B Team

Happy Friday and here’s wishing mew a gorgeous weekend! XOX

    • I’m sure they do and I’m pretty sure they are loved. 🙂

    • Kitties are most fun, but not if you’re allergic. They can close your throat right up. Happy Friday to you too. 🙂

    • Of course your boat name would be Molly. I agree. 🙂

  4. haha….love those answers. Here are mine.
    1. I would love to be a personal assistant to _No one….but I would love to have one..
    2. If I had a boat, I would name it Laughter.
    3. I want to improve my life
    4. Surprises are not normally welcome.

    • I love your answers. I want a personal assistant too. 🙂

  5. I love coming by here on Fridays for my cute kitty fix! 🙂
Ha ha, I can barely take care of my own stuff, never mind someone else’s! I’m pretty sure I NEED a personal assistant!!

    • I’m glad I can be of service. I would like a personal assistant too. 🙂

  6. When I lived in Ft. Lauderdale, we used to go to a bar on the Intercoastal called Shooters. One of the yachts that frequently cruised by was named “Poverty Sucks”, which I found amusing.

Adorable kitties! Happy Friday, and have a fantastic weekend!

    • There are some great boat names out there. I always look. 🙂

darling kitties!! Be patient with the hair, a couple of years ago I unintentionally grew mine out (due to financial reasons) and before I knew it, it grew out! In between I wore A LOT of bandanas and baseball hats 🙂
    xoxoxo

    • I’m being as patient as I can be. I know there are going to be bad days until I get it a bit longer. 🙂

  8. We are pet free and ok with it for now. AND…

I would love to be a personal assistant to no one! I’m done..
If I had a boat, I would name it For Sale .
I want to improve my waistline.
    Surprises are generally terrifying. .

    • Thanks for playing along. I had to chuckle about the waistline. Funny how that happens as we age. 🙂

  9. Letting one’s hair grow out is a deep level of hell!

    • Yes it is and I’m in the depths of hell at the moment. 🙂

  10. Very cute fluffy kittens. Too bad you don’t like surprises, but not everyone can I guess.

    • I just don’t like surprises. Not my cup of tea. 🙂

to me the one looks like I’m gonna cry if you don’t take us home.

    • That’s probably why they are looking like they look. 🙂

    • I think the look is just how their breed looks. You know like grumpy cat looked. 🙂

  12. Those kittens are simply adorable. I want them )
Now who would want to be a personal assistant. I wouldn’t mind having one to take care of all the stuff I don’t want to do but I wouldn’t want to be one.

    • I’m with you on the personal assistant. I did that kind of stuff when I was working. No more. 🙂

    • Yes they are and I’m be happy to love on them. 🙂

        I can totally relate.

  14. Michelle – Hi, I am Michelle, I am married to a wonderful Christian man & my best friend ever, in the world. We live in the Peachy state of GA. I hope to inspire and encourage you through my blog posts.

Hi, Sandee! Cute cats! I’m allergic to work, too 🙂 Also letting my hair grow out. Have a great weekend. ((Hugs))

    • I’m right in the middle of awful right now. I hope it doesn’t last too long. Hugs back. 🙂

  15. Can your pictures get any cuter? These are so sweet. You’ve got me thinking. I’m like you – I don’t want to be ANYONE’s PA but what if I HAD to be. I’m still mulling it over.🤔 If I had a boat it would be called A Miracle! I would like to improve my bank account by adding a few zeros onto the bottom line. And surprises are a flipping nuisance as they are very often unwanted but you have to smile (grimace)anyway.😬

    • I can’t think of anyone I would want to PA for. Too much work. Boats are expensive. We have a small one and it’s paid for so that helps. I don’t like surprises for just the reason you mentioned. Rarely are they ever wanted. Keep your money and the time it takes and we’re all happy. 🙂

    Aw cute!
Hair always seems to grow more slowly when you’re waiting to grow it out. I’m doing the same.
Hope you & hubby are having a lovely weekend 🙂
    xx

    • I’m more than halfway there, but it’s just in a very bad spot right now. This too shall pass. You have a lovely weekend too, Caz. 🙂

    • Hubby came up with it but wanted it to be spelled different than Annuity. Most thinks it’s an Indian name. You be well too. 🙂

  17. Service Cats U.S. – I Audra, am the human behind Service Cats U.S. aka DezizWorld. I am disabled and use cats as service animals instead of dogs. They are just as capable and can perform duties other animals cannot. We started our online journey to bring awareness to the ability of cats and to help others understand the relationship between a service animal and their handler/person. We offer training tips and tricks that I have learned through the years along with other information on all things feline. We began this journey in 2014 with Lexi and Dezi. They have since gone on to heaven, but our journey continues. This blog is about our daily life from the kitty's point of view. I want this blog to be interactive and get to know all of you, so comment and visit often. I will also offer advice, training tips and education when possible. Oh awnty Sandee, you’re so funny…allergic to work. MOL Mommy used to be a hair dresser. She says to use pure Shea butter and/or Argan oil on your hair to help it grow and keep it nourished. Big hugs

    Luv ya’

    Dezi and Raena

    • Thanks for the tip on my hair. It’s been a challenge. Happy Sunday. 🙂

    • We do too. Hubby did a great job coming up with that name. Happy weekend to you too. 🙂

  18. Tails Around the Ranch – Denver, CO – The inspiration behind this blog was one knuckleheaded Standard Poodle named Sam but is now inspired by a House Pony-Wilson. I'm Monika, the upright. Living in the Denver metro area, we post about dogs, rescue and nature. So grab your favorite beverage and be prepared to howl along with our adventures. And don't forget to bark your 'pup-tacular' comment; we'd love to hear from you.
    Tails Around the Ranch

    Cheers to that ‘allergy!’

    • I worked hard when I was working and when I retired that ended. 🙂

I hear that. Worked my tail off for my last job for 25 years…when I retired I left that life behind. 😌

  19. Kismet – New River, Arizona. – I'm a 16 year old Indian Ringneck parrot curmudgeon in New River, Arizona in the wild west country. If you're a sunflower seed, you're dinner.

Surprise is a town in Arizone (30 minutes from us).

    • I didn’t know there was a town in Arizona named Surprise. 🙂

    • We are on our boat and it’s a beautiful weekend. Happy day to you and Ms. Zoe. 🙂

  20. Your cute kitty photos always make me feel so happy. Now, I’m sorry I’m so late to visit again. Thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! I know exactly where you’re coming from with #1. The longer I’m in the traditional workforce, the more I realize that I think I’d like to find a way to simply work for myself. At least then I’d be the only one bossing me around. Have a wonderful day!

    • You’re never late. It’s all good. You’ll know when it ‘s time to retire too. It just comes to you and retirement is awesome. 🙂
