  1. Sandee,

I remember all too well eating too many hard boiled Easter eggs. I’m pretty sure we didn’t store them in the refrigerator after dying them which meant they sit out nearly the whole day before and all day on Easter. That couldn’t have been good for us. We were just ignorant, even our parents. I don’t think food poisoning was ever mentioned when I was kid so they probably didn’t know of such things or that it’s not a good idea to eat food that’s been out of the refrigerator for hours.

I’ll swing back by after my Friday post publishes to join the linky party. Have a Good Friday!

    • I never thought about them being out of the fridge. I’m sure that was the problem. I sure was sick. Happy Easter my friend. 🙂

  2. MNL – My primary blogs are cactushaiku.com (poetry) and cactuscatz.com (my calico Pinkie, my cat art & photography, Midnight has passed so only past posts with Midnight). Hope to see you soon.

He looks all proud of himself for finding the egg.

  3. Have a wonderful Easter Weekend. I’m sure it will be fun with your twins having their first Easter even though they are too young to know what it is.

    • They went well and I enjoyed my burger and chips very much. It was so wonderful to eat something again. Happy Easter weekend, Cecilia. Big hug. 🙂

  4. Very cute kitty. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am sure eating too many eggs is not fun. I hope you and Zane have a wonderful Easter. XO

    • I was happy to do the fill-ins this week. I missed them last week.

Thank you for co-hosting Friendly Fill-ins.

You have a wonderful Easter too, Ellen. 🙂

    • I don’t have any, but I’ve got Audi’s Easter basket. I’m not going to touch it though. Big hugs back, honey. 🙂

    • I didn’t know eating so many would make me sick. I never did it again. Happy Easter, Darla. 🙂

You ate eggs and didn’t feel wonderful? Serves you right.

    • I’m so sorry, Kismet. It’s wasn’t one of your relatives. I promise. 🙂

  6. I have fond memories of egg salad sandwiches for days after Easter, as a child.

    • It has catnip in that egg. That’s the attraction. Happy Easter, Barbara. 🙂

    • I wish I wouldn’t have had the half dozen or more that I had. I was so sick. Happy Easter. 🙂

    • That works for me. I have a lot of chocolate for my great granddaughter, but I’ve not had any. 🙂

  7. That is a handsome feline. Do you suppose there is any catnip in that Easter egg?

1 An Easter (or Passover) memory that I have is I was baptized Easter Sunday evening.
2 I hope to purchase a new car early next year.
3 When the days are warm I turn to grilling outdoors and going to minor league baseball games.
4 If the Easter Bunny visited my house I would ask him, “When is the Cadbury Bunny going to get here?”

    • I think that egg is full of catnip. As it should be.

Thanks for playing along. We are grilling here too. Cool being baptized on Easter Sunday. I’m with you on the Cadbury Bunny. Happy Easter. 🙂

    • I was so sick. I didn’t eat a boiled egg for a very long time. Coloring them is most fum. Happy Easter weekend, my friend. 🙂

Thanks for adding me to the hop. We are away on a cruise at the moment so I won’t be able to do see much commenting until the end of the month. Usual slow ship’s internet!

    • You just enjoy your cruise. I sure would and not worry about visiting or commenting. Have fun. 🙂

    • We’re already replaced our air conditioner. It was expensive. Happy Easter, Jen. 🙂

    • This is a very cute kitty. Russian Blue I think. Happy Easter, Veronica. 🙂

    • I think this is a Russian Blue. They are nice looking kitties. Happy Easter. 🙂

  15. What an adorable Easter image! And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! I am with you on #2. I really hope to go more minimal this year, and don’t want to make many big purchases. Of course, that being said, so far this year my washer has croaked and I’ve had to buy a new one, and my hot water heater went out the other day and had to be repaired. But, maybe all of that is done and over with now. I hope you had a wonderful Easter with lots of chocolate!

    • It seems that when one thing gives up everything else lines up. I’m hoping that doesn’t happen this year. We had a wonderful Easter. 🙂
