  1. That made me laugh LQQKING straight at the camera like that heheh!

    Dicing onions drives me mad

    I totally agree haha!

    Have a fill-intastic FFS ➡

    • He’s a poser extraordinaire. There are a few cats and pups that love the camera. Happy day and weekend, Steve. 🙂

    • I’m ready to go on a cruise too. We’re meeting up with some friends early to enjoy an extra night of festivities. 🙂

    • I couldn’t help myself with the fourth one. You have a great day and weekend, Marg. 🙂

  2. foguth – Though Jeanne began her career technical writing, her love of romantic-suspense, whether it be present, future or in an unknown galaxy inspired her to write the novels she wanted to find in bookstores. Since marrying, Jeanne and her husband have lived from the arctic to the tropics, as well as from yacht to off-grid mountain home. She loves using vivid colors and flowing shapes in her oil paintings as well as creating edible landscapes. At present, she is finishing writing the Chatterre Trilogy and working on a new episode for The Sea Purrtector Files. You can always find out what she is working on and/or contact her at: www.jeannefoguth.com.

    That cat looks very sincere.

    • Thank you, Darla, we hope to have a lovely cruise too. The weather looks like it’s going to be perfect. 🙂

  3. Michelle – Hi, I am Michelle, I am married to a wonderful Christian man & my best friend ever, in the world. We live in the Peachy state of GA. I hope to inspire and encourage you through my blog posts.
    Michelle

What a handsome fellow he is! ((Hugs))

  4. That is a pretty kitty. My mom had one named Sheba that looked similar. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I love your answer to #4, I would love to tell that to my husband’s cousin who corners us at the grocery store and talks for a long time. Have a wonderful weekend! XO

    • I know someone that does that too. Talk, talk and talk some more while our ice cream melts. 🙂

  5. Kismet – New River, Arizona. – I'm a 16 year old Indian Ringneck parrot curmudgeon in New River, Arizona in the wild west country. If you're a sunflower seed, you're dinner.
    Kismet

My peep’s father used to say “to make a long story short” and go on for ten minutes. I’d hate to hear the long version-parrots only live so long.

    • I know that guy too. Well there are parrots that live as long or longer than humans. 🙂

    • Hubby usually does the onions and I’m happy about that. They make him cry too. Hugs back, Cecilia. 🙂

    • I’m guessing most people cry while dicing onions. Sometimes if the onion is mild I do okay, but mostly I cry. 🙂

  6. kittiesblue – Roanoke, VA – Tandem bike rider with the best husband ever (married 47 years), gardener, blogger and kitty addict and caregiver. My license plate is PRRFCT and I have a tattoo of my blog logo on my calf.
    kittiesblue

Mom is an absolute sucker for grey/blue kitties. Those are particularly like potato chips to her. This is a beauty. Have fun on your trip next week. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

    • I read about your potato chips today. I’ve not tried those. In fact I’ve not heard of that brand. I love chips and they go right to my hips. Bugger. Scritches to all the kitties, especially Cooper Murphy. 🙂

  7. What a purrfect Feline Friday Sandee. I hope you and Zane have a wonderful weekend honey. I am still putting stuff away and I haven’t even gotten to hanging my pictures yet, oh this stinks Sandee. I love and have missed you something terrible, ((HUGS)) ❤ 🤗

    • At least you found new digs. You were absent for a bit so I figured you were moving and settling in. Hugs back and have a great day and weekend. 🙂

  8. Geez, Autumn just got here…did you have to go and mention the ‘w’ word?!?

Such an elegant-looking kittykat. And great advice on making a short story!!
Happy Friday – Have a lovely weekend =]
    Caz xx

    • I love elegant looking kitties. Or regal looking kitties. Many don’t have to work very hard to pull that look off. You have a lovely weekend too. 🙂

  11. “Excuse me, I’m trying to take a nap here.”

I have been retired for five and one half years. Time flies when you’re having fun.
Photographing high school sports makes me very happy.
I am surprised that our grand daughter’s wedding is almost upon us.
To make a long story short, get right to the point.

    Have a blessed week-end.

    • Thanks for always answering the questions. I enjoy your participation. Have a blessed weekend too. 🙂

  12. Service Cats U.S. – I Audra, am the human behind Service Cats U.S. aka DezizWorld. I am disabled and use cats as service animals instead of dogs. They are just as capable and can perform duties other animals cannot. We started our online journey to bring awareness to the ability of cats and to help others understand the relationship between a service animal and their handler/person. We offer training tips and tricks that I have learned through the years along with other information on all things feline. We began this journey in 2014 with Lexi and Dezi. They have since gone on to heaven, but our journey continues. This blog is about our daily life from the kitty's point of view. I want this blog to be interactive and get to know all of you, so comment and visit often. I will also offer advice, training tips and education when possible. Enjoy your cruise. We go on an ocean cruise next week and I can’t wait to get back on board!
    Cute picture!

    • Enjoy your ocean cruise. We don’t do those anymore. Some love them, but we didn’t like our last one and that did it for us. 🙂

  14. Beautiful and interesting eyes. Is that speck of blue in his eye, or just a camera glitch? Timber has one blue eye and one brown eye that has a little speck of blue at the top – our parti-eyed bi-eyed boy.

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber

    • I think it’s a glitch from the camera, but not sure. I did see Timbers different colored eyes. Prayers for Lightening. Happy weekend. 🙂

  15. Suzanne Gunter McClendon – I am a South Carolina native, but have been living on the Texas Gulf Coast for 17 years now. David and I have been married for almost 38 years. Our children are grown. We have two grandchildren and one on the way. I try to learn something new every day. My obsession is genealogy/family history research.
    Suzanne Gunter McClendon

Oooh that kitty looks so very soft, like velvet. 🙂

I love you fill-in answers, most especially the answer to the fourth one. We both got a laugh out of that one!

    Have a blessed weekend, Sandee.

    • Yes, like velvet. Perfect description.

I couldn’t help myself with #4. It just came out.

You have a blessed weekend too. 🙂

        Thank you.
Sometimes those things that “just come out” are the absolute perfect thing to say. You nailed it. 🙂
        Thanks!

        • Thanks for joining in on the Feline Friday fun, Suzanne. It’s most appreciated. 🙂

            Thank you, too, Sandee. 🙂

  16. Jim – http://www.jimmiehov6.blogspot.com – I'm a Senior Blogger. Are there any others anymore? Yes, the poets and real writers are still practicing and pushing their wares. A lot of the younger set though has migrated to FaceBook and Twitter which are pretty much social. I like my real Blogger Friends and would like to keep them, hoping they'd like what I write and how nicely I answer their comments.
    Jim

This is a pretty Gray Cat, Sandee. 🙂
    3 – I’m surprised that more people don’t like pumpkins. 🙂
    Have a nice week. 🙂

    • Yes it is, Jim. I like pumpkins. I really like pumpkin pie. You have a nice week too. 🙂

  17. The Canadian Cats – Prince George, BC, Canada – I have been married for like AGES and AGES according to Shoko. A whole 47 years. Shoko is my only young'un. Bill and I have lived in Prince George, British Columbia, Canada for 34 years. Gardening is my passion and also Shoko's passion. Bill's passion is being included as a member of Shoko's family.
    The Canadian Cats

    What a lovely kitty.

You are going cruising next week? You lucky person. It’s too cold up here to even think about going out on water.

    Jean

    • The highs will be in the low 80s, but the nights are cold. We can boat year around here. 🙂

    • We leave next Thursday and return home on Monday. Looking forward to a fun time. Happy day to you and Ms. Zoe. 🙂

  18. I love the kitty. 🙂
LOL and high five to the answer for that last question. 🙂
    Here’s mine:
1 – I have papers to grade for the weekend (grading period ends Monday).
2 – Administration does make me go to a lot of meetings on my planning time, so I don’t really get to use it to grade (Yes, I’m preoccupied today, lol).
3 – I’m surprised that I love my job so much this year (I did and didn’t last year…I switched schools)!
4 – To make a long story short, my son’s undefeated season came to an end today with a terrible butt whipping (for him and his team) on the court, by another team that was also (and is still) undefeated. Wait, that was long wasn’t it? 😀

    Have a great weekend!.

    • A good teachers work is never done. You’re a good teacher.

I’m sorry about your son’s loss today. It stings and will for a very long time.

You have a great weekend too. 🙂

  19. Gosh! I could have sworn I made a comment…we said stuff about Mom and how she tells convoluted stories that leave people rolling around laughing…but I do believe we wrote it on the tablet…for some reason NONE of the comments we have left using the tablet have been appearing…
    Darn!
Love your fillins and the grey cat! Mom says it looks just like the first cat she remembers having!
    purrs
    Marv

    • Hubby has the same issue with his tablet. He sent me an email the other day on his tablet and I never got the email. He had to use his phone to send the email. Wonder what happens on the tablet. It’s a lot of work and then all that work doesn’t appear where it’s supposed to. 🙂

  20. It is almost winter. I hope we have enough supplies to make it.. One winter, not too many years ago, our winter lasted a very long three days. Fortunately it was back up to 104°F by Valentine’s Day. Have a blessed week.

  21. Jeanna – Madison, WI – I'm a freelance feature writer, ex caterer and relay operator interested in helping seniors like myself and their family and caregivers with local and national resources while providing a safe place to share experiences or just chat. Taking care of my parents has taught me a lot about caregiving, assisted living facilities and health care for seniors. I'm going to keep adding resource information with the goal of providing information in an entertaining and informative way.
    Jeanna

Have you ever seen such a gorgeous gray, beautiful and knows it (:

  22. What a beautiful kitty! And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! I hear you on the onions. I myself don’t eat onions, but my sister does, and every time I’m around when she cuts them, my eyes feel like they’re melting. I can’t believe it’s almost winter, either. We actually had snow on Friday, and the leaves here haven’t even changed color yet!
