It seems like men are always harder to buy for. Not to mention that once you get older you really don’t need anything any more and you’ve already bought everything you wanted.

Buying gifts for my hubby is always puzzling for me. We buy stuff during the year so it’s hard to surprise him.
We just celebrated our 16th wedding anny with a bottle of champagne and that was fine with me. We didn’t need the hoopla of going out on the town.

A good friend of mine says when she got married, her husband said, “We don’t need to give gifts at holidays and birthdays, we are a gift to each other every day.” They’ve stuck to that and been happy over 40 years.
