Two sweet little kitties in their bowties. I collect ceramic cats but should stop as I have so many. I hate clutter and have had to spread them around various rooms to avoid that. The dusting is a PITA too!

It has called me anonymous again even though it says I am using my WP account! What is wrong with Blogger and WordPress lately?
    Memories of Eric and Flynn.

She avoids flying when possible having been a flight attendant for many years, she hates flying these days and no hot air balloons. They scare her. Have a Grand weekend!

Sooo cute! I used to collect postcards when we went on family vacations. I agree, it would be cool to ride in a hot air balloon (even though I have a fear of flying AND a fear of heights…lol). Have a great day! 🙂

      Sandee says:

The reason I did the postcards for my sister is we were always traveling. She loved seeing where we were. 🙂

  15. My Phamily Blog says:

I love the black cats! I would choose them over all other pets. So precious and these two gave me a huge smile..Happy weekend. I still like to collect postcards. We have a young friend who sends me one wherever he travels. Another friend gave me a 1950 something postcard from her late parents collection. During these past two years not many were interested in swapping postcards except three sweet people who made my day when their cards arrived. I have a postcard from the year the Twin Towers were built in the 1970’s from my mom’s oldest sister. When she was widowed her son and his phamily took her to NYC and she had never left the state of Colorado. That card is a real treasure since my folks and my aunt are all gone. I also have one from 1950 something Mexico from my Uncle Tom and Auntie Jo. I love seeing their handwriting and greetings even though they are all gone now. I have many from many US Army bases too when my big sis followed her military man everywhere. We vacationed wherever they were when I was a kid. Good memories…..

      Sandee says:

  16. Jen – Texas – My name is Jennifer, but my friends and family call me Jen. I live in the DFW area here in Texas. I am a 49-year-old mom of two not-so-little kids - T (22) and S (19). I have been married to my best friend and soulmate, Fabian, for 23 years. We share our home with three crazy hairballs named Korina, Tabitha, and Tumbledart, and a doggo named Zac. I love reading and started at a young age when first introduced to my mother's stash of Nancy Drew Mysteries. Then I developed an odd fascination for horror and became obsessed with Stephen King during my middle school years. It is still my favorite horror novel. I was in high school when the "romance" book bug took a bite. I read my first historical romance novel, Skye O'Malley, by Bertrice Small, and I never looked back. That was almost 30 years ago. I love history and the Dark Ages of Scotland and Britain, with Tudor England and Regency following close behind. I adore Jane Austen! My passion is still Historical Romance, although I will read just about any genre that strikes my fancy these days. I have been gaming since the days of Atari when I would sit and play Asteroids and Missile Command for hours, after homework, of course! I still recall my father getting our first computer and becoming enveloped in PC gaming with Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves and Oregon Trail. Consoles by Nintendo and the Play Station soon followed, and the rest is history. I introduced my children to gaming at a young age, and we have been gaming and playing together ever since. We mainly play PC games like Minecraft, Wizard101, Pirate101, Toontown Rewritten, and games on Roblox and Steam, but we also play on the Switch and PS4, too. I have been online, in some form or fashion, building a website or sharing my thoughts and musings for quite a few years.
    Jen says:

Aww, such cute kitties with lil bowties! It’s been a while since I posted. Been having trouble with logging into my blog, so I have no moved it to my actual website. Have a great weekend!

I don’t want the clutter. It’s all good too. Less mess to deal with. 🙂

  17. Rosey says:

You are braver than I. Though I have gone skydiving, I wouldn’t go in a hot air balloon. I have also ridden some of the world’s tallest, fastest roller coasters, but I hate being on a Ferris Wheel. Strange… I know. 🙂 I collect pictures (or I just like them…of the kids and grandkids. I have quite a few boxes and photo albums). I also try to get a Christmas Ornament from each place we travel too, and sometimes a coffee mug (though I won’t get more than what fits in our little coffee cup cupboard). Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

It’s fun to see what folks fill-in with these. Such a fun meme. Have a great weekend. 🙂

  18. Wing Commander Basil & The B Team – UK – Well, now there's a question! Furstly and most importantly I'm a cat if mew hadn't already guessed. I got my Wing Commander status in September 2018 but that hasn't slowed me up at all! I tweet, Instacat, FB, Tumble & Pin too and now there's Basil TV on YouTube. All in all I'm a thoroughly Modern Cat; a cat of the 21st century, mew might say. My human & Purrsonal Assistant aka P.A. is Cathrine Garnell, and she writes books including a tale about my fictional alter ego, Basil the Bionic Cat. [See Books Page] I live in a multi-cat household, and mew can meet the rest of The B Team here most days of the week, as they all like a turn on the blog. I like mice, but then don't we all? I also like fresh tuna, chicken and prawns. I LOVE catnip, not in any excess I might add before mew jump to any wild conclusions. Thanks so much for dropping by, as we The B Team, love making new furriends, so do leave us a comment and say hi.
Wing Commander Basil & The B Team says:

What gorgeous little kitties, mew can’t beat having a house panther or two! Supurr fill-ins Sandee and wow on the hot air balloon, no one would get the P.A. in one of those ever!!! MOL MOL

      Sandee says:

I love your fill-ins and didn’t know you didn’t have your bass boat anymore. I hear you about agility. I’m the first mate on our boat so I’m well aware of my agility isn’t what it used to be. Thanks for weighing in, my friend. 🙂

  22. darlamsands
    Darla M Sands says:

Those kittens sure are dapper. 😀 One year my parents gifted us with hot air balloon ride tickets. My husband wasn’t too keen at first and I suggested he just allow me to go twice. Heh… I’m glad he was there, though, asking all kinds of technical questions which the crew seemed to enjoy. More than once flight plans were scrapped due to weather concerns. It was beautiful when we got to go up, though landing was a rough end to the morning’s adventure as we bumped and skidded to a halt, scrambling out in a most unglamorous manner. Blessings, my dear, and hugs to you.
