Friendly Fill-ins

Each Thursday Ellen of 15andmeowing and Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs, provide Friendly Fill-in questions.

Ellen came up with the first two questions and Lorianne came up with the last two questions.

If you need help, please let either Ellen or Lorianne know.

Here are this weeks questions:
1. I almost ___________________.
2. I finally ___________________.
3. I find _________ very interesting.
4. I have my doubts about __________.

Here are my answers:
1. I almost never pass up a chance to go boating or to see my great grands. Two of my favorite things to do.
2. I finally got to go on a cruise on our boat last weekend. To say it was wonderful to get back out on the water is an understatement.
3. I find freeway driving very interesting. There are some scary folks out there.
4. I have my doubts about ever having peace in this world.

  1. What a good capture I sense food glorious food heheh!

I liked your replies glad you got to go boating again at last I agree with 4 too Sandee 🙁

Have a floattastic safe FFS 😷😷😷

    • Yes, I’m sure there was food involved with this shot. We had a great time out last weekend. Looking forward to doing it again and very soon. Happy weekend, Steve. 🙂

    • We were in seventh heaven and on cloud nine, Ann. Have a great day off tomorrow. 🙂

    • I loved that tongue too. I’m sure it’s meal was delicious. Yes we’re boating again after 3.5 months. 🙂

  2. Sadly Mom doesn’t see the world being peaceful either as there is so much anger and resentment these days which is super sad. Hope you get to be out on your boat again this weekend!

    • It’s a shame. There are folks that just want the world in chaos all the time. Not going out this weekend, but soon. After the 4th comes and goes we’ll take another cruise. 🙂

  3. Wing Commander Basil & The B Team – UK – Well, now there's a question! Furstly and most importantly I'm a cat if mew hadn't already guessed. I got my Wing Commander status in September 2018 but that hasn't slowed me up at all! I tweet, Instacat, FB, Tumble & Pin too and now there's Basil TV on YouTube. All in all I'm a thoroughly Modern Cat; a cat of the 21st century, mew might say. My human & Purrsonal Assistant aka P.A. is Cathrine Garnell, and she writes books including a tale about my fictional alter ego, Basil the Bionic Cat. [See Books Page] I live in a multi-cat household, and mew can meet the rest of The B Team here most days of the week, as they all like a turn on the blog. I like mice, but then don't we all? I also like fresh tuna, chicken and prawns. I LOVE catnip, not in any excess I might add before mew jump to any wild conclusions. Thanks so much for dropping by, as we The B Team, love making new furriends, so do leave us a comment and say hi.

    Michelle

Congrats on finally getting to cruise on your boat. Well, the cat picture is interesting. Must have eaten something yummy. 🤗((Hugs))

    • We had a great cruise and actually had dinner twice in our favorite restaurant on the water. It was wonderful. 🙂

  5. foguth – Though Jeanne began her career technical writing, her love of romantic-suspense, whether it be present, future or in an unknown galaxy inspired her to write the novels she wanted to find in bookstores. Since marrying, Jeanne and her husband have lived from the arctic to the tropics, as well as from yacht to off-grid mountain home. She loves using vivid colors and flowing shapes in her oil paintings as well as creating edible landscapes. At present, she is finishing writing the Chatterre Trilogy and working on a new episode for The Sea Purrtector Files. You can always find out what she is working on and/or contact her at: www.jeannefoguth.com.

Meowser Ms. Sandee thank you for hosting this blog hop. I know our world is going through a rough time, but have every confidence that this will soon be over and next year will be wonderful.

  6. Deborah – South San Francisco, CA – I am a Wise Woman who has been on a spiritual journey for many years. My wisdom was not gained through a higher education but through the University Of Life and all the insight, knowledge gained through the pain of trials and tribulations on the path of weeping to healing. Though I have come a long way, I am not done yet! I still have much wisdom to gain, more growth through pain, and the beauty of spirit that come by continual shedding of the old to receive the new! Sweet Blessings!

What a delicious photo! That cat makes me want to taste whatever it just ate! Have a great Friday and weekend Sandee! Mucho hugs! 🙂 <3

  7. Thank you for hosting Feline Friday and thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am glad you got to go boating and see those adorable grands too. I don’t drive on the highway, I don’t feel safe driving at high speeds so my mom or hubby do those drives when needed. Have a nice weekend. XO

    • I’m still out there, but there will come a time with enough is enough. Our freeways are jammed with folks. You have a nice weekend too, Ellen. 🙂

Boating and seeing the great-grands! Both sound heavenly to me… Have a fantastic Friday and an awesome weekend, Sandee! 🙂

  10. Happy Feline Friday!! That is just a purrfectly timed shot of that sweet kitty. We enjoyed your friendly fill-in answers. We are happy that you got to get out on your boat for some relaxing cruising. Thanks for the share. Have a great upcoming weekend.

  11. Tails Around the Ranch – Denver, CO – The inspiration behind this blog was one knuckleheaded Standard Poodle named Sam but is now inspired by a House Pony-Wilson. I'm Monika, the upright. Living in the Denver metro area, we post about dogs, rescue and nature. So grab your favorite beverage and be prepared to howl along with our adventures. And don't forget to bark your 'pup-tacular' comment; we'd love to hear from you.

Whoa…I’ve never seen a cat’s tongue out like that. That’s amazing! You’re probably right, peace is more elusive these days than ever. Have a beautiful and fun weekend. Hope you are able to get out on the water again soon. 🛥

    • I love those rough kitty tongues. We were out last weekend for the first cruise since the virus showed up. 🙂

    • Yes we had a great cruise last weekend. Have a great weekend, Carol. Lovies to Ms. Zoe. 🙂

  12. Happy Feline Friday! Humans just don’t know how to get along. I follow the cats of Aleppo and they have over 700 cats in their Sanctuary and they all live peacefully together. In fact they have other animals too and the cats get along with them. Right now a cat is fostering an abandoned, injured puppy and has nursed him back to health. No hope for the humans tho.

  13. loved the post the pics the comments et all….thank you everyone….and Sandee…..meow…..

    • I drive it often, but it’s the only way to get to our boat. Sometimes it’s very crazy and sometimes it’s almost decent. 🙂

  14. Oh, we are afraid you are right about #4. 🙁
Like Ellen, I avoid driving on highways as much as possible, but there are times you just can’t avoid it!
So glad you got out on your boat!!
Have a great weekend, and Luke sends smooches!

    • Only way we can get to the boat. Hubby and I exchange drives. I drive up one week and hubby does the next and then it’s my turn again. It works for us. 🙂

    Something must have been tasty!
I am glad you were able to get out on your boat again.

    • We were too. We had such a great time out on the water, meeting up with friends, and having dinner at our favorite place on the water. 🙂

  16. Bet that kitty got a lick of something really tasty:)

Hope you get to cruise some more this weekend.

Thanks for all your kind words to welcome Misty home.

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber

  18. Jim – http://www.jimmiehov6.blogspot.com – I'm a Senior Blogger. Are there any others anymore? Yes, the poets and real writers are still practicing and pushing their wares. A lot of the younger set though has migrated to FaceBook and Twitter which are pretty much social. I like my real Blogger Friends and would like to keep them, hoping they'd like what I write and how nicely I answer their comments.

Such a pretty cat, Sandee. If you have the whole of it please show us soon. Thanks.
It’s a Clever cat also, to be able to like its nose with the tongue. I can lick my nose with my tongue, as can my daughter, sister, granddaughter, and two great-great-grandchildren. Are we Clever? For sure!!!!
