Squeaker makes me think of my very first cat ! I was 21 and as my father didn’t allow me to keep her, I told him OK, then I move out ! I could do that because with my 4 languages I had a very good job could afford an own apartment and had already a car. Father reluctantly choose his daughter, but the cat had to sleep in the garage. Of course as soon as my parents were in bed, I took baby Piccola in my room. This story ended with the result that after a while, Piccola was allowed to go everywhere and slept on the lap of my father in the evening !! She was very clever !!
