What better way to start the week than with a smile.
Squeaker had her spay surgery last Tuesday and she’s doing very well. She got lots of comfort from Cat Dad Zane. Lil’ Bit wants nothing to do with her. She smells funny and she’s not having it. Squeaker is confused why her sister doesn’t want to cuddle with her. Each day is getting better and we’re hoping they will be cuddling together soon. In the meantime we’re loving on both of them more than usual.
We’re happy to report that on Saturday they are finally cuddling, playing, eating and sleeping together again.

We are so happy that the two of you are back to cuddling!
We were pretty worried for several day. Lil’ Bit would hiss and swat at Squeaker and she couldn’t understand why. 🙂
Kitties are funny about things when one is gone and comes back smelling like the vet. Mom used to take all the cats and dogs to the same appointment every year to keep that from happening, but it got to be too much work, so she stopped and now we all go alone and no more cats to go either. There are benefits to both ways. We knew they would get back to cuddling after a bit of adjustment time.
I’ve never experienced this before until now. We’re going to see about having them both go the same day to their annual vet appointments next December. 🙂

When Celestial Chuck and Angel were on Earth, we tried everything to mitigate the dissension in the ranks; Angel would reject Chuck, or vice versa, despite that they were littermates and had lived their entire lives together.
Nowadays, I take both Manny and CB to the vet, figuring they will just be together.
Carrying two PTU’s isn’t easy, and Da Boyz are big dudes!
We were surprised that Lil’ Bit didn’t want anything to do with her. We are happy they are back together. We’re going to make sure that we can take them to the vet at the same time. 🙂

She’s running around the house like a kitten again. Her incision looks very good. We’re so happy. 🙂

I can relate Cats are funny that way, Celestine and I would take the cats one at a time to have the surgery done and it took them a few weeks before they all started getting along with each other again. Things will get back to normal eventually.

Awww yes, so cute! Our cats and dogs always did the same thing when any of them came back from a vet visit. Soon enough they smell normal again and all is well between them.

It’s back to normal now. It took from Tuesday to Saturday to make it happen, but they’re loving each other again and we’re thrilled about that. 🙂
