Remembering Pete Cusack
Today we are celebrating Pete Cusack’s birthday in heaven with many of his beloved felines. Pete passed away in November to the shock of all of us. To honor Pete on his birthday, we are posting a link to one of our favorite TomCat Commentary by Timmy posts. We hope you will join us in remembering Pete by participating.

I love to see kittykats sleeping. They look so sweet and peaceful, not a stress in the world.

Pete is the kitties dad that passes away in November. He was the sweetest man and he loved kitties so. 🙂
And how stupid do I now feel. I’m very sorry, it didn’t quite add up when I first read the post and checked the link, but my slow brain didn’t catch on. Firstly, I apologise for my ignorance. Secondly, how very sad about Pete. Life can seem cruel when beautiful people are taken from it too soon. xx

What a sweet kitten photo! We didn’t know Pete very well, but did read the blog on occasion. We are sad for him and his kitties that he passed away.
I’d been visiting him for some time, but not long. I sure loved him and his kitties though. 🙂
That cat reminds me of my daughters when she first got him.

Meowser Ms. Sandee! Let’s all have a wonderful, peaceful week – okay? It is colder than I’ve ever seen, here in FL…. there was even front on the roofs this morning. Now that the sun is up, most of that is gone, but it was a sight to see! Rumble and I wanted to get up on the roof to inspect, but we were told ‘no’…. I don’t like that word.

There are frost on our roofs every morning. We have pretty good weather though. It’s about time for my second walk and we’ll be outside for that walk. 🙂
I know Pete would be so happy to see that precious gray kitty…I only got to know Pete over the last year. He always left the kindest comments. His love of all kitties was obvious in the comments too

We had a friend named Pete he was Dave’s bass player in his band, and I believe Dave kinda grew up with him and they played together at least. Pete was playing bass with Dave when I met him cuz its, “ALL ABOUT THE BASS, ALL ABOUT THE BASS… NO TREBLE, etc…. but he was really good and a great singer. Anyway, back to back,… where we were at…. ummmm waiting for a dove probably… sorry, I’m being a boob! Hello new friend I hope. You look just like a old friend of mine where I use to live. Do you have a son? My friend had one and she lived right across the hall from my. I’m sorry my name is Marie (God given name, but my nickname was Dolly which that is what everyone called me), and I had 4 children… 2 girls & 2 boys. Tony and Robert and Tricia (she was the eldest, Tony was the eldest boy), and the baby was Missy (Melissa). Our landlady’s name was Eva and she also had a son who was representing the building. Anyway, I just thought I’d ask., we could’ve been old friends… who knows! Also, our apartments was by Midway Airport in Chicago. Eva was a great landlady and a very nice person. She also cleaned houses and I worked for her too. As I said a super nice lady and funny! Have a great day… if you didn’t know Eva I’m sorry I bothered you.

That was a lovely post to choose. I remember when Pete first took Einstein in as a tiny kitten, and his fur was unruly and stood on end. He really did look like a feline version of Einstein! Pete was a good friend to so many of us and is very much missed.
I wasn’t there yet, but I’ve gone back to his earlier posts. He was such a delight and so were his kitties. 🙂
