  7. foguth – Though Jeanne began her career technical writing, her love of romantic-suspense, whether it be present, future or in an unknown galaxy inspired her to write the novels she wanted to find in bookstores. Since marrying, Jeanne and her husband have lived from the arctic to the tropics, as well as from yacht to off-grid mountain home. She loves using vivid colors and flowing shapes in her oil paintings as well as creating edible landscapes.     We received several inches of snow Saturday night, and now the temps have dropped dramatically.
    However, knowing that some like to play in the cold, and the way the snow sparkles in the sunshine, it’s a happy Monday morning.

    What an awww photo. Our next door neighbor keeps her Grand Dog Baker the Golden Retriever once or twice a week. Often when they return from a walk Baker has his leash in his mouth…while my neighbor still has her hand in the leash loop.

    I’m running late. Our Internet has been out all day. We were even without power from 6am to 1:30pm. Thankfully, DH was off today, so we just stayed in bed because it was super cold. We got about 3-4 inches of snow last night. The first of the new year. It’s really pretty but I don’t like that it has to get cold for it to show up. I think I’m happy with just seeing photos of the white stuff. lol This has been such a shock after 70º temps last week. I’m ready for spring’s return. 🙂

I have been sober since 02/02/2022 prior sober date 12/12/1990. I've been married to my Celestine since March 1,1980 and lost her to kidney failure October 2020
