      That’s true. I never gift puppies and kitties. It’s not a good idea unless you know for sure someone really wants a puppy or kitty. 🙂

    Aww, that’s the cutest puppy. I’ve never met a puppy I didn’t like. What a sweet thing to find under the tree. Of course I don’t think Gibbs would agree with that.

  10. foguth – Though Jeanne began her career technical writing, her love of romantic-suspense, whether it be present, future or in an unknown galaxy inspired her to write the novels she wanted to find in bookstores.     We here that lots of folks adopt animals for gifts, which get returned after the holiday.
    Seems awfully cruel…to the kids and to the animal.
    Hopefully, due to the pandemic, folks will keep their ‘gifts’, because they are working from home.
    It’s a bittersweet time of year.
