Yesterday, The Hubby and I watched a program about rescue groups that supply dogs to veterans; not guide dogs or specially trained dogs, but regular old dogs as companions. When in the service, our veterans are part of a group, but back home, they feel isolated. A dog is a good friend!
Yes, this program is so very important for our vets and the dogs too. 🙂
