  1. What a cute cat that is. Love the eyes.
I don’t think I could participate in the friendly fill-ins meme. I look at them and totally draw a blank on every one. You did good with your answers.

    • You’re not into meme’s anyway. It’s all good. Sometimes I’m stumped too. Thanks for the kudos on my answers. 🙂

    • The cat is most photogenic. Thanks on my fill-ins. Short and sweet this week.

You have a cutetastic FF too, Steve. 🙂

  2. A hidden gem was what came to me when i saw that cat.

Nice fill-ins, especially about knowing your Zane was the one. That’s lovely.

    Happy Friday!

    • A hidden gem indeed.

Yes hubby was the one and I knew it.

Happy Friday to you too. 🙂

  5. curioussteph – Louisville, CO – June 2017: I started writing Curioussteph.com with this: By day, I'm a retired family physician turned body-oriented psychotherapist. I garden, travel, am owned by 2 elderly cats, figure skate and am training for my first triathlon. April 2020: Three years later, the two elderly cats have crossed the rainbow bridge, and we now have an 11 year old adoptee, Ziggy. I'm done with triathlon and skating for the time being, and I am still physically active, running, biking and walking. It's now the time of the coronavirus, which is affecting us all. July 2024: Four years later: I haven't been writing much, and change has continued. My partner of 36 years, BA has a number of health issues, primarily white matter disease, which has affected cognitive function and mobility. She has good days and bad, and so more of my time is spent managing our household and attending to her needs. My imagined retirement of spending half the year traveling isn't happening at the moment. Lots of adjustment and accommodation. Hoping to write more about retirement, and all the changes. We shall see.

    • I’m so happy you played along today, Steph. I enjoyed your post. They do what they want and that’s final. 🙂

  9. Sandee,

Precisely, new discoveries are fun. That’s why we’re always on the look for new doughnut, candy, and ice cream shops when we’re out running around. 🙂 ‘Future husband’…does the current husband know about this? lol Okay, I know what you mean but I’m in a silly mood because it’s Friday!! 😀 Have a relaxing good time this weekend!

Great answers to the fill ins! Not sure I thought that when I first saw J at the Dairy Queen I worked at for one day when I was 15 years old! He chased me all over Topeka before I finally let him catch me! 🙂

  12. ChirpyDebs – Greece – Hello, I’m Debbie otherwise known as ChirpyDebs and thank you for stopping by my little corner of the internet. Hi Sandee, what beautiful green eyes that cat has, I’m actually a bit jealous… Just a tad.

    xx

    • I’m guessing you want green eyes like the kitties? How about contacts? 🙂

  13. Beautiful image! And nice fill-ins. I wonder what it would have been like to have a sister. We probably wouldn’t have gotten along since I’m more like a guy in lots of ways. ~grin~ And I never planned to marry, even after meeting my future spouse. Ha! We’ve been together since 1989, I moved in with him and his fellow Airmen months later. We bought a house in ’94 and finally married in ’97. That small ceremony made a lot of people happy. Heh… Be well!

    • I was a tomboy too, until I discovered boys. Took a while, but I got there. I’m glad you found your soulmate. They are wonderful to have around. 🙂

  14. Marie aka Dolly! – USA – Trying to be a really good blogger. I love having friends all over the world. It's so cool & very interesting. I love hugs... they're good for the soul & the heart! How cool that you zinged with your then-future husband when you first looked at him. That’s how it was for me, too. Of course, it took him a while to figure it all out. haha

    Have a blessed weekend.

    • It didn’t take hubby long to realize the same thing. He fell for me at first look too, It’s a wonderful thing. You have a blessed weekend too. 🙂
