Such a lovely face, and I love those ear tufts.
I agree with your fill ins, and this week #1 couldn’t have been any better! 🙂 🙂

Definitely #2, don’t do things just because others are, we have to make our own choices & live our own lives. Happy Friday =]
    Caz xx

    • Yes we do and I hate to see people follow the herd when they really don’t want too. Happy Friday to you too, Caz. 🙂

    • That cat know it’s got it going on. You have a posetastic FF too, Steve. Thanks for being such a loyal participant. 🙂

    • I can do ice cream in the hot months just fine. I eat way too much when I get started. You have a lovely weekend too, Sami. 🙂

    • I try to stay positive all the time. I do pretty well too. You have to work at it and once you do you take the positive side of things instead of the negative. 🙂

  3. My mom runs from negativity, she says positivity is a magnet for her. Love the ears on that kitty photo.

    • I do too. It can suck the very life out of a room. I’m not falling for it. 🙂

    • We all have our own comfort foods. It’s a good thing. Happy Friday, Cathy. 🙂

    • I thought the kitty was most regal. They all are at times, but this one nailed it. Yes comfort food is the very best. 🙂

  4. foguth – Though Jeanne began her career technical writing, her love of romantic-suspense, whether it be present, future or in an unknown galaxy inspired her to write the novels she wanted to find in bookstores. Since marrying, Jeanne and her husband have lived from the arctic to the tropics, as well as from yacht to off-grid mountain home. She loves using vivid colors and flowing shapes in her oil paintings as well as creating edible landscapes. At present, she is finishing writing the Chatterre Trilogy and working on a new episode for The Sea Purrtector Files. You can always find out what she is working on and/or contact her at: www.jeannefoguth.com.

Now that is a handsome cat! Katsu totally agrees with you about potatoes…. have never, ever known a cat who loved potatoes like him.

    • I’ve never had a kitty that love potatoes. Rarely would they eat people food. 🙂

  5. That is a beautiful cat, nice ear tufts. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. My first one was similar- I am definitely an optimist and I try to not spend time with pessimists. Those are all good comfort foods. Have a wonderful weekend!! XO

    • Thanks, Ellen. Thanks for co-hosting Friendly Fill-ins. I enjoy doing them each week. 🙂

    • Yes it does. It probably wants something and wants it right now. 🙂

    • I avoid the negative bandwagon. I know a couple that reek of negativity. Depressing to be in the same room sometimes. 🙂

  6. Tails Around the Ranch – Denver, CO – The inspiration behind this blog was one knuckleheaded Standard Poodle named Sam but is now inspired by a House Pony-Wilson. I'm Monika, the upright. Living in the Denver metro area, we post about dogs, rescue and nature. So grab your favorite beverage and be prepared to howl along with our adventures. And don't forget to bark your 'pup-tacular' comment; we'd love to hear from you.
    Tails Around the Ranch

    Aww, what a pretty kitty.

  7. Of course, I like any kind of cat, but Maine Coons are at the top of my favorites list! Artemis and Apollo, on FB, are two Maine Coons from England, and they are to die for! Gorgeous babies!

  8. That kitty looks very much like my assistant, Shoshin, except her ears aren’t quite so tufty (is that even a word?)
I see that we both serve the master carb. I would only add rice to your list of comfort foods.

    • With good looking kitties we make up words and that’s okay. Yes I gladly serve the master carb. 🙂

    • Thanks, Darla. I love Friendly Fill-ins each week. Works my poor brain a bit. 🙂

  10. Service Cats U.S. – I Audra, am the human behind Service Cats U.S. aka DezizWorld. I am disabled and use cats as service animals instead of dogs. They are just as capable and can perform duties other animals cannot. We started our online journey to bring awareness to the ability of cats and to help others understand the relationship between a service animal and their handler/person. We offer training tips and tricks that I have learned through the years along with other information on all things feline. We began this journey in 2014 with Lexi and Dezi. They have since gone on to heaven, but our journey continues. This blog is about our daily life from the kitty's point of view. I want this blog to be interactive and get to know all of you, so comment and visit often. I will also offer advice, training tips and education when possible. • Yes, bread is manna from heaven. Love you both and your mom too. 🙂

    • Yes, the cat knows it’s a beauty. You have a wonderful weekend too. 🙂

    • That kitty is regal and then some. I love it’s cattitude. Thanks on the answers. I love Friendly Fill-ins. 🙂

  11. What a beautiful cat.

3 – You couldn’t pay me to __pick up a frog__________.
    4 – _____(Is coffee a food?) 🙂 _________ is my comfort food.

    • Oh you’re low calorie on your comfort food. l Yes, coffee applies. Whatever you love the most is all good. Thanks for playing along. 🙂

I LOVE your answers and I am with you on these ” Don’t do something just because everyone else is”.——I have ALWAYS marched to my own drum, but there are people who sometimes hate me for it. To them, I say “pffft”

“You couldn’t pay me to jump on the negative bandwagon”.———-now, sadly, I am guilty of being negative but mostly in reference to my opinion of myself 🙁 With other things I tend to be more positive, but not with myself.

“Bread, pasta and potatoes and gravy are my comfort foods.”———I’m with you…..especially warm bread with butter!!!!!!! Mashed potatoes! I love potato chips as well 🙂

    xoxoxoxo

    • Oh potato chips are good too. I have them when I have a Subway sandwich. That’s not very often though. I hear you about doing something because everyone else is. Not me. I have my own path. 🙂

  13. MNL – My primary blogs are cactushaiku.com (poetry) and cactuscatz.com (my calico Pinkie, my cat art & photography, Midnight has passed so only past posts with Midnight). Hope to see you soon.
    MNL

Love the gorgeous cat! Reminds me of the old Hollywood glamour shots, don’t you think. I agree with your answers but want to swap cheese (lotsa cheese) for gravy to the comfort food list for me.

    • This is a great time to ask that question. Everyone seems to have food that brings them comfort in the winter. 🙂

    • And that cattitude too. Have a woof woof weekend you three. My best to your mom. 🙂

  14. kittiesblue – Roanoke, VA – Tandem bike rider with the best husband ever (married 47 years), gardener, blogger and kitty addict and caregiver. My license plate is PRRFCT and I have a tattoo of my blog logo on my calf.

What a fabulously gorgeous Maine Coon. Our Daphne was 1/2 Maine Coon. Great job on the fill-ins. I agree with each one. Thanks for linking us up. Hugs, Janet

    • I loved this weeks fill-ins. It’s a fun exercise. You’re most welcome for the link. Have a fabulous weekend. Hugs back. 🙂

Have a great weekend, Sandee! ((Hugs))

    • We are on our boat for the weekend. Have a yacht club dinner tonight. Had a wonderful date night last night with hubby. 🙂

  16. Suzanne Gunter McClendon – I am a South Carolina native, but have been living on the Texas Gulf Coast for 17 years now. David and I have been married for almost 38 years. Our children are grown. We have two grandchildren and one on the way. I try to learn something new every day. My obsession is genealogy/family history research.
    Suzanne Gunter McClendon

Ooooh what a beautiful kitty! It looks so very soft. Petting that one would calm pretty much anyone, I think. 🙂

You named some of my favorite foods there. I love bread, and potatoes, and gravy. I like pasta fine, too, but bread and potatoes even more.

    Have a blessed weekend!

    • Yes, if you have bread and potatoes the way you like you can’t beat them. You have a blessed weekend too. 🙂

What is your favorite type of bread? One of my favorites is potato bread, but I have yet to try to make it.
        Thanks, Sandee. 🙂

  17. Are you still talking to me Sandee? I’m so sorry. I promised that I would keep politics out of of my blog. I will keep our politics out of this because our friendship is so dear to me. Sorry again my friend.

    Cruisin Paul

    • We are fine, Paul. I know you hate Trump. I love him. I’m so sorry that he’s hated so much when he’s doing so many good things. We are fine, Paul. 🙂

    • The young have it tough if you ask me. I hope she grows out of this. 🙂

Well, as soon as I saw your kitty there I thought of the Lion King! hahaha Now as far as your great grandbabies besides being absolutely adorable let me say that I had a preemie she was 3lbs 2 oz and the hospital will not let them go home until they are 4lbs 8oz well back in 1980 anyway that was my youngest so that doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong that just means they want to play with them some more. hehehehe Also, give your daughter my suggestion that my daughter gave to me. NOTHING will fit, but DOLL CLOTHES WILL! Isn’t that a great idea? Yep, we were at the store and my daughter said, “Here Mommy this will fit”, and it was a tiny tear doll outfit. So my love get out to the store right now and by those babies a whole new wardrobe cuz I know you will now that you know the size! bwahahahahaha oh only the pants won’t fit cuz of the diaper… everything else will! hahahahaha YOUR WELCOME MY FRIEND! Love you and welcome to the Great Na-Nee club… hehehehe HUGS & CONGRATS AGAIN!!!! Sorry I didn’t make it yesterday! Oh & it’s our Christmas today with my kids & a few grandkids… it’s snowing here so a few grandkids didn’t make it 🙁 long story! HUGS 🙁

    • I’m happy to know about the doll clothes. I’m sure the staff at UC Davis has all kinds of suggestions. I can’t wait to meet them. Hopefully in about a week or so. We’re so ready. Love you bunches, Marie. 🙂

    • I love this regal cat. I would love to have this kitty to love. You’re most welcome for my hosting. I love all things feline. You have a wonderful weekend too 🙂

  19. Happy Friday Sandee
You couldn’t pay me to jump on the negative bandwagon either!!!!! I’ve been there and I’m never going back.

    • It’s an awful place to be and so many chose it and then reside all the time. They can suck the very life out of a room. 🙂

    • I love my comfort food way too much. I don’t have them very often anymore. I miss them. 🙂

  20. What a stunning kitty! And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! I can’t disagree with any of your fantastic answers. Now, I’m hungry for potatoes and gravy. Mmmmm!

    • I love potatoes and gravy. Pasta with a creamy garlicky sauce. Some garlic bread. Yummy.

Thanks for co-hosting the fun blog hop.😎
