Beautiful, and it's somewhere I have not been.
It's a beautiful old city. 🙂
Back when cities really had gates. Really cool ones.
Yep, this is a very old city with lots of cool history. 🙂
A beautiful gate. Have a lovely day!
It is a lovely gate. You have a great day too. 🙂
Nice gate! I love walking around cities and looking at interesting architecture. Have a great day!
This city has tons of great architecture. 🙂
Very interesting. Enjoy your Wednesday Sandee & Zane. See ya.
Cruisin Paul
You enjoy your Wednesday too Paul. 🙂
I love the arches in this structure! I would like to have arched doorways in my next home. Please join me in my photo linkup! Have a fototastic day!
Arched doors a very cool. 🙂
I doesn't look very functional to me. You can't close it and even if you could one could just walk around it.
Well it is more symbolic than anything else. 🙂
This almost makes me want to go back to Mexico. But not quite.
My traveling days to Mexico are long over. Too dangerous in many places now. 🙂
Beautiful it looks like Marble Arch hee in London but bigger
Have a losarcostastic WWS :-d
You have a losarcostastic WW day too Steve. 🙂
That is a gorgeous gate. And looks like a great place up there to see a long ways. Thanks for putting us in the lineup.Sandee, you and Zane have a fantastic day.
You're most welcome for the link Marg. I'm glad your computer is better now too. 🙂
A beautiful and prestigious gate!
It is that and more Linda. 🙂
Beautiful, resembles Muslim architecture.
Have a great day!
I don't know about that, but there are some great architecture in Mexico. 🙂
I've never been there before so thanks for the glimpse at Guadalajara!
Hope you and Zane have a great day!
It's a huge city. I was there in my 20s. 🙂
Very nice. I have friends who used to dive yearly in Mexico. Always a fave destination, to be sure. 🙂
Some beautiful coastline in Mexico. 🙂
Wow! Now, that is really cool. Great job!
"Big hugs" to ya, :)))
It was a trip of a lifetime. Big hugs back. 🙂
Wow! That's such a neat photo!
Thanks Lauren, it was a beautiful sight too. 🙂
What a cool gate! It makes me wonder about its history.
There's a link to information on the gate. Just click on (Los Arcos, old gate of the city) at the top of this post. 🙂
Sandee, I'm not sure why, but I do not see your link list. The same thing happened on my blog a minute ago, but then it showed up again. I just wanted to let you know- WW saved me today, I couldn't think of a thing to write, plus, it's a lot of fun.
"Hugs" again-
Mr. Linky wouldn't open so I took it off. l'll add it back later. 🙂
Beautiful gate. We have never been there…and I'm sure never will, since we are pretty much avoiding Mexico. Oh well.
Big hugs, honey…
I will never go back to Mexico either. It's way to dangerous. 🙂
What a beautiful place!
It was in the late 60s and I'm sure it still is. 🙂
Lovely city- too big for me tho'! Hugs to you and Zane on the sunny day!
It is a huge city indeed Kathe. Hugs back. 🙂
That's a pretty impressive gate
Yes, and it's a pretty impressive city. 🙂
Very pretty.
I enjoy living there for four months many moons ago. 🙂
Beautiful gate. I had a doctor from there. Interesting lady. Lots of expats lived there. Hope y'all are having a great week. Hugs from the north part of I-5!
There are lots of Americans in Guadalajara. There was a place outside of the city names Las Fuentes that was full of Americans. 🙂
That's a really nice gate. I guess there's a lot of very interesting colonial architecture in Mexico.
Tons and tons of wonderful architecture in Mexico. 🙂
Lovely! That is someplace I have never been, well at least that I can remember. We have traveled quite a bit through Mexico and a lot of it was kind of a blur when I was little.
It's far more dangerous than it used to be, but at one time it was a lovely place to visit. 🙂
Beautiful, yes, but not somewhere I'd like to visit now. Thanks for the photo trip 'cause that's as close as I'm going to get to it.
Me either and my husband refused to go to Mexico. He's right. 🙂
He's right. People think the barbarians are in the middle east, and they are, but they don't recognize the barbarity that's going on in Mexico, as well.
Exactly. A lot have migrated to California among other places. 🙂
