Sandee,
That stuff looks raw! If so, I'll pass or I should say, pass it over a flame until it's hot….very hot please! Did you hear about that woman dying a day or two ago after eating raw oysters? She contracted a dangerous type of Salmonella that's notoriously found in raw shell fish. I want my dinner cooked, thank you! Have a good day and thanks for hosting the mid-week WW fun, my friend! 😉
Hubby would eat every bite of this. Has to have the wasabi though. I'll have some. 🙂
Sandee,
In my opinion, eating raw food is an accident waiting to happen. Tell hubby to make sure his life insurance is paid up. 😀
I'm not into it either, but hubby has been doing it for years. I guess you have to make sure it's fresh. I'll pass too. 🙂
I think I'll move on to the next buffet…lol
It's not for everyone. 🙂
That's my kind of lunch.
Hubby and I love all things Japanese. 🙂
That is not my cup of tea, but looks great for someone that likes that kind of thing. Sandee, you and Zane have a wonderful Wednesday.
No it's not for everyone. You have a wonderful Wednesday too, Marg. 🙂
Oh yummy! I –Marvelous love sushi! The purrfect hump day lunch!
Purrs Marv
It's good for you too. 🙂
Would you believe I have never had sushi? Have a great day! 🙂
It's a great thing to have. Give it a go. 🙂
I'm not the world's biggest fan of sushi. Some of it's okay, but I don't go out of my way to eat it. It does look pretty though.
I'm with you. Some is okay, and hubby eats what I don't care for. He loves, loves, loves this. 🙂
I haven't had sushi before which concludes that I'm sushiless
It all looks very pretty I must say
Happy New Year Sandee :-f Sorry it's late
Well that's okay. It's not for everyone. I'm hungry for Japanese food. 🙂
OH, YUM! I love sushi and sashimi! I could eat that every day. It is funny how so many who never had it are so against it. It is very good for you, too. Thanks for this. Hugs, my friend.
You're most welcome, Annie. Sometimes I get stuck on food and today was the day. 🙂
No thanks.
Not a problem, Regine. 🙂
beautiful sushi bits! Have a scrumptious day!
Yes indeed, Kathe. You have a scrumptious day too. 🙂
I have tried it with an open mind and I still want to cook it.
Well, some can't get past the fact that it's raw. I get that. 🙂
I have never eaten sushi but some looks good.
Thanks for hosting!!
If you get the chance to try it then do. You might like it. 🙂
Yummy foodie photo!
Happy Wednesday to you,
A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbor)
I thought so too, Carol. Happy Wednesday to you and Zoe too. 🙂
Stick that on a hibachi and I'm there! lol I'm not quite wordless this week but not as wordy as my usual posts. It's after noon Wednesday so the work week is officially down hill from here. Enjoy your day.
Won't taste the same, but I don't like raw fish much either. I pretty much did this post for hubby. 🙂
My children would go nuts over that. Me, not so much.
Well, you don't eat fish or meat so I get it. It's really good according to my husband. I pick and chose what I would eat of this plate. Hubby would eat it all. 🙂
It looks yummy to me and I like to have some wasabi and soy sauce on the side as well.
Yep, that will cook the fish for those that don't like it raw. 🙂
Not a plate for me but the colors are really vivid.
You have to like this kind of stuff. I can eat some, but not all. Hubby can clean this whole plate. 🙂
I don't really like raw food. Well, maybe raw chocolate.
I hear you. I'll take the chocolate too. 🙂
Here in Arkansas we have a name or raw fish…it's called bait. Just sayin'.
I kind of knew you'd say this about this dish. There are a lot that feel the same way. 🙂
Looks beautiful but I prefer the cooked ones.
Me too, Nancy. It's a very colorful dish though. 🙂
It looks very tasty Sandee. When I receive these tasty treats?
Have a wonderful day my friend. Sorry I'm a day late. As my daughter would say, Dad, you are a man, live with it. Ha,ha,ha.
See ya.
Cruisin Paul
Go to your nearest Japanese restaurant and order it. I don't think I could send this to you very well. 🙂
Pretty, but definitely not something that makes me hungry. We've tried and tried. I think I grew up too far inland to appreciate sea cuisine.
I love seafood, but I like mine cooked. Hubby likes his raw. Good to see you again. 🙂
I'm afraid I'm not a fan of sushi but some love it. Nice picture anyway!
I'm not a fan either, but I love most Japanese food. As long as it's cooked. 🙂
I can't do sushi, but this would be Jen's Guy's dream!
Well your hubby and my hubby can go at it. We'll have something else. 🙂
That's the kind of picture that evokes a strong reaction. People either love it or hate it! 🙂
Yep, and most of my folks aren't that fond of this kind of food. I get that. 🙂
Hi Sandee, I would love to try proper sushi, but have never had the chance. There is nothing in that photo that doesn't look good.
xx
Some of this I would try too. Others, no. It's is very colorful and I've seen these dishes for real. Hubby would be all over this. 🙂
