A pretty dainty butterfly. With less flowering plants in my garden, the numbers of butterflies visiting my garden has dropped.
She they need those flowers don’t they. They are beautiful creatures. 🙂
Lovely photo of the delicate butterfly.
They are indeed delicate. And so very beautiful. 🙂
Pretty Buttie Pillar…do you nose what it is? It looks a bit Monarch-like
Loves and licky kisses

I don’t know what kind it is, I just thought it was very unique. Loves and licky kisses back, Princess Leah. 🙂
What a pretty butterfly. I wish I had a green thumb, I would plant a garden to attract them.
I’m not a gardener and I don’t want to be either. I don’t mind watching the critters though. 🙂
It’s always lovely to see butterflies.
Yes it is, my friend. They have a special meaning to hubby and I. Spiritual meaning. 🙂
I hardly ever see butterflies anymore, so I get excited when we do come across them. 🙂
We get them here, but it will be a bit before they show up. I can wait. 🙂
What great capture love the detail 🙂
Have a flittefluttertastic WWS ➡
Someone knew what they were doing when they took this shot. You have a great WW too, Steve. 🙂
That’s so pretty! I love the contrast of the black and white butterfly against the brights flowers. 🙂
Have a great Wednesday, Sandee! 🙂
I thought that was a nice touch too. You have a great Wednesday too. 🙂
Well, that certainly screams spring! We are getting a big snowstorm starting tonight, so spring is being put on hold for a few days.
I was going for spring for sure. We’re finally getting some spring here and this weekend is supposed to be warm and sunny. 🙂
We love to watch butterflies and that sure is a pretty one!
Hubby and I can watch all the creatures of nature for hours. 🙂
Meowser Ms. Sandee, I love butterflies, so always plant a few flowers that invite them to flutter by for a visit.
Thank you for choosing that lovely one and hosting this blog hop.
Purrseidon
If you’ve flowers they will visit for sure. You’re most welcome. 🙂

Great picture of the butterfly. Spring can’t be far off. Sure was nice to hear from Zane yesterday. Sandee, you and Zane have a really good day.
He planned that out all by himself. He thought you’d get a kick out of hearing from him. Glad you did. 🙂
Spring can’t come fast enough for me.
Amen to that, Binky. 🙂

Black is the most dramatic color of all contrasted with the colors of flowers.
I thought this was well done. I love butterflies too. Have a great day. 🙂
What a gorgeous little guy!
Yes indeed. Happy Wednesday. 🙂
Such a beautiful butterfly! We hope to be seeing them around our yard soon.
We’re hoping the same here. It’s been a long and wet winter. 🙂
Oh, my. That must be a tropical insect. Beautiful.
I don’t think so, but I’m not sure. I found it online in the awww section. 🙂

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Ours are turning green. The walnuts are about the last thing to bloom and there finally showing some blossoms. I just love spring. 🙂
I love the idea of butterflies, but when I see one up close, I realize that they are BUGS! Eek! Is there something wrong with me?!?
Yes they are, but they are better looking than most. No, there is nothing wrong with you. 🙂
I love that photo – it just screams SPRING IS HERE!

This makes us dream of summer….and right now it does seem only like a dream, since it’s all white outside again! 🙂
Oh no, more snow? Yikes. 🙂
Simply beautiful!
I thought so too and I picked this because I was so longing for anything spring. 🙂
So looking forward to seeing butterflies over the next few months (though today, I hope they’re huddled up against the storm we’re having-back to winter after 80 F yesterday!)
It’s windy here today, but the sun is shining and it’s just a bit chilly. 🙂
It’s snowing here (and it was 80F yesterday), the airport has been closed and the governor put the national guard on alert. I think we’re in for quite a storm!
Spring has sprung… and then it hides… right now it’s hiding on us. It’s chilly and there little tiny ice pellets this morning plus I had to put on a sweater just now! 🙁 Bummer! Anyway, you have a great day my friend I have to go flying around and saying hello to all my alphabet people or the reason I join this game is not going t pan out! Sending big ol’ hugs out to ya girlfriend!!!! Have a great day … who luvs ya sweets!!!!!!!!
It’s windy today, but the weekend forecast is good. We’re so ready to do a cruise when it’s not raining. It’s been months. Love you bunches, Sweetie. 🙂
Sandee,
I’m sorry for being such a bad blog friend. 🙁 I have my hands full as you know with the A2Z blogfest but there are other things going on, as well. I certainly appreciate all of your encouragement and visits. You’re the best! Before long we’ll see the return of butterflies. It’s a gorgeous spring day here in East Tennessee. Thanks for hosting the mid-week fun. Have fototastic afternoon! 😉
You do your A2Z and not worry about visiting. It’s all good. I’m waiting for the butterflies too. 🙂
Sandee, I do enjoy hooking up with my regular peeps and have managed this better in past years but not so much this time. We buckled ourselves in the hot pursuit of finding a new house and I’m worse than a dog with a bone not wanting to give it up until the job is done. 🙂
But…thank you for understanding. You’re the best!!😘
Beautiful photo…saw my first butterfly of the season yesterday! Glad I found this linky!
I haven’t seen one for real yet, but soon. I’m glad you found this linky too. 🙂
We have a butterfly tent working it’s magic this month in our house. So exciting to watch the transformation!
I would love to see that. How wonderful. 🙂
Beautiful picture! I love butterflies. ((HUgs))
Me too, Michelle. 🙂
You found the kind of image I aspire to. Now I’m worried about the butterflies I saw the other day, glad I’m not driving today but tomorrow, eek, I don’t look forward to it because there will undoubtedly be ice to contend with.
I can’t believe you had spring one day and winter the next. Yikes. 🙂
I can’t wait until I see the first butterfly but I understand today, we are suppose to receive more snow. Yuk! See ya Sandee.
Cruisin Paul
More snow? Yikes. I hope it’s just a dusting. I know we are all ready for spring. 🙂
What a gorgeous photo. I look forward to butterflies to return this summer. Thanks for linking us up on the hop. Cooper Murphy was pretty certain you’d enjoy seeing his belly. Hugs, Janet and purrs from Cooper Murphy
I always enjoy seeing Cooper Murphy no matter what he’s doing. Hug to you and lots of lovies to Cooper Murphy. 🙂
Mmmmmm, butterflies are tasty.
If you say so. I’ve never had one. 🙂
We haven’t had any butterfly’s yet, I can’t waits for them to show up! This just gets me all in the springy mood! BOL
Thanks for hosting!
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
Spring is finally here, but I din’t know if it will stay. I’ll be on the lookout for butterflies too. Kisses back, Ruby. 🙂
This is a nice change to the monarch butterflies that seem to be everywhere.
I thought this one was very unique. Butterflies are beautiful. 🙂
You wouldn’t have seen that around here yesterday…or today.
Lucky you. Have a great rest of the week, Mike. 🙂
I’ve seen a few winged wonders flitting around and, have to admit, I got pretty excited! Hope your week is going well. xoxo
I get very excited when spring arrives. My favorite season. 🙂
Oh Sandee, what a gorgeous butterfly! I adore watching those. They are so incredibly graceful. And when you think of all they’ve been through to fly…it’s a beautiful analogy of our lives. Don’t you think?
We’ve got some bushes and various flowers here they love to come to and we just sit and watch. Although, we have to referee the kitties entirely too much! 😀
I love all things spring. The rebirth of the earth. Fabulous. 🙂
Beautiful pic. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week. Sorry that I am late.
You’re never late, Patrick. You have a wonderful weekend. 🙂
