The most extravagant aspect of the luxury yacht is its master bedroom that with a wall feature made from meteorite rock and a statue made from genuine Tyrannosaurus Rex bones. The master suite is adorned with a 68 kg 24-carat gold Aquavista Panoramic Wall Aquarium and a liquor bottle featuring a rare 18.5 carat diamond. Price: $4.8 Billion

You know I was thinking the same thing as messymimi. It’s pretty but you can have just as much enjoyment out of a boat that cost a small fraction of what this one does. Maybe it’s because of my current situation but it seems so wasteful to put all that money into one boat.
There are people that have lots of money. To them it’s no big deal to spend this kind of money. I say it’s his money and he can spend it how he pleases. 🙂

Well, believe it or not ever since I saw the Titanic I don’t care for the water or boats very much anymore. So many movies that make you afraid of the water… like JAWS for example etc. Okay, call me a wimp, but it’s true… gotta see land for me to go in any water like that. I like the cockpit on that boat, but don’t boats scrape against rocks and other things from time to time? I guess with that kind of money, he just puts another coat of gold on it when that one starts wearing off.
I don’t think the hull is gold, but he’s got a lot of gold inside the boat. We’ve had our boat since 2004 and we’ve not scraped against any rocks or other things. Dock rash is about it from time to time. 🙂
