The incredible detail of the Notre-Dame can be seen all over, not just in its famous facade. Walk further along the Seine and you’ll see the cathedral’s equally beautiful side and back parts. eugenesergeev Getty Images
Very impressive. They sure don’t build them like that anymore
They sure don’t, Ann. 🙂
Interesting. I wouldn’t want to be the maid 🙂
I hear you, Michelle. I’ll bet there is an army of people who keep this place looking good. 🙂
That is such a great picture and gorgeous castle. I can’t imagine living there. One might get lost.
It’s a cathedral, Marg. 🙂
That is magnificent!
I would love to see it in person, Brian. 🙂
Gorgeous! I wish we still built things with that attention to detail.
I agree with you. 🙂
Hope you’re having a wonderful week, Sandee.
Beautiful. Michelle’s comment made me laugh. Happy Wednesday!

Thanks for entering using the hop. Notre Dame is a gorgeous and magical place. My husband and I visited Paris a few years ago. It was the first time either of us had been back in 50 years. It was wonderful. Hugs, Janet
Lucky you. I’ve never been. It would be most grand. Hugs back. 🙂
The European cathedrals I have visited–though not this particular one–are always a marvel to behold.
I would think so, Greg. You’re most fortunate to have visited Europe. 🙂
Got my new passport and I plan on going back soon. Sometimes if you want to do something, you just got to do it!
Such an iconic sight 🙂 Makes me want to go to Paris and have some croissants and cafe au lait. Hope you’re having a great day, Sandee!
I’ll go with you. I’m having a great day, Ellen. I hope you are too. 🙂
It’s a fabulous building, inside and out. There is detail even in places you cannot usually see that shows the care with which it was built.
I would love to see it inside and out. It’s so beautiful. 🙂
So when we leavin’ girlfriend??? I’m ready aren’t you? ~hehehe~ Oh how I wish I could & with you. Could you imagine we’d have a blast I’m sure. I love anything old, so I love me a lot and I would love to go see this place for sure, especially I’d love to sneak up in the towers that they don’t let you see and the ceilings must be phenomenal too. Thanks for sharing.
We would have a blast together. We would probably get in some trouble too. Good for us. 🙂
Notre Damn is such an outstanding cathederal. One just must visit it while in Paris.
I can’t imagine visiting Paris and not seeing this. 🙂
It’s amazing someone could design such a beautiful cathedral and it actually came to life. All before computers and modern equipment! It’s mind boggling!
Hope your week is going well, Sandee!
Yet they did. Mind boggling indeed.
We are in Sacramento for tonight. A friend is having surgery tomoow and We’re going to sit with his wife. 🙂
