Autumn
Autumn, also known as fall in American English, is one of the four temperate seasons on Earth. Outside the tropics, autumn marks the transition from summer to winter, in September (Northern Hemisphere) or March (Southern Hemisphere). Autumn is the season when the duration of daylight becomes noticeably shorter and the temperature cools considerably. Day length decreases and night length increases as the season progresses until the winter solstice in December (Northern Hemisphere) and June (Southern Hemisphere). That is a beautiful photo. I had intended to post this week but yesterday was a bad day and I never got around to it. Hopefully next week! PS Had the results of my 9 week scan on Monday and the chemo has started to shrink the tumours!

Even here in the tropics, the days are getting shorter and shorter in the light dept, I noticed it last night that it was dark right around 8 and it has been 8:30 for a long time. and then comes the dreaded fall back and hour and it is dark even earlier
I don’t care for the time change either, but I’m ready for cooler weather. We’ve had a hot summer. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Beau. 🙂

Fall is my favorite time of year. Love the fall colors and the cool down from hot summer. Wish it would stay that way, and skip over winter. Also I do not look forward (or fall backward) to the time change. They should just leave it one way or the other.

Beautiful! I love the colors of Fall. Until 5 years ago I was living in New York and loved the change in season. Now I’m in Florida and it’s always summer. At least I don’t have to deal with the snow 🙂
It doesn’t snow here and I’m happy about that and it’s only cold a couple of months in the winter and then spring shows up. It’s all good. 🙂

There’s not much I miss about living up north. Seeing the leaves change colors IS one of them though.
