The Terminator
The Terminator is a 1984 American science fiction action film directed by James Cameron, written by Cameron and Gale Anne Hurd and produced by Hurd. It stars Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Terminator, a cybernetic assassin sent back in time from 2029 to 1984 to kill Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton), whose unborn son will one day save mankind from extinction by Skynet, a hostile artificial intelligence in a post-apocalyptic future. Kyle Reese (Michael Biehn) is a soldier sent back in time to protect Sarah. Source: Wikipedia
The 1984 action movie The Terminator was filmed in various areas of Southern California. The city used for the majority of filming was Los Angeles. While many shots were created on sound stages, many scenes were filmed in and around LA. Various streets and buildings are featured in the movie, and many locations can still be visited by fans today. Source: Giggster

That is another film I have not seen.
Could you do me a favour and leave a comment on Steve be There’s blog. For the last 3 weeks I can get his post, but as soon as I click to leave a comment I get Page not Found. I don’t want him to think I have stopped visiting.
It’s a great movie, Jackie. All of them are. I went over to Steve’s blog and saw that you left a comment. Good for you. Love and healing hugs, my friend. 🙂
Yes, he left a comment on my blog to change my name slightly and also put it on his blog. Thankfully it worked. Thank you too for going to leave a comment for me.
Not necessarily one of my favorite movies but I have seen it.
Hubby and I loved this movie. Scary, but fun and well done. 🙂
I haven’t seen this film either people i know who have like it
Have a tanfastic week Sandee and thanks for hosting 👍
It’s action, action and more action. Happy day and rest of the week, Steve. 🙂
We lived in LA 35 years….it was yes, a movie set, often, and now, so glad we are OUT!!!! Love those movie stars wandering around….Love your blog that makes us smile!
Awww, thanks for such a wonderful comment, Loulou. Scritches to you and a hug to your mom. 🙂
This time I know the movie and it’s no so bad. In the last year this kind of movies were reloaded
many times. I try to understand the messages of reloading, if there are ones… Except of course the
the intelligence subject about I have many queries…
Happy WW, again, dear Sandee! Have a fine week ahead! Hugs!❤️😘
An action packed movie. You have a great day and rest of the week, Suzana. Big hugs. 🙂
I’ve never seen the movie.
It’s worth the watch. Happy day and rest of the week, Duke. Scritches to you and a hug to your wonderful mom. 🙂
It was certainly a gripping film. I’ve heard that Cameron can be kind of an asshole to work with, but he always delivers when it comes to action.
I hear you. It’s a great movie filled with edge of your seat action. 🙂
That is a really good movie. As a native of Los Angeles, it was a treat to recognize so many of the locations that appeared in it!
I’ve been to L.A, many times an recognized some of the locations too. Happy Wordless Wednesday, my firend. 🙂
Never saw that film. Funny how Arnold was so big for so long and now you never hear or see anything about him.
I hear you. They age and then disappear sometimes. He was a fun actor though. Happy day and rest of the week. Scritches to the pups. 🙂
I can’t remember seeing this movie. I guess it was pretty popular though, as I know I’ve heard of it. haha
Wishing you a wonderful Wednesday <3
It was very popular. Wishing you a wonderful Wednesday and rest of the week. 🙂
Gotta love Ah-nold. 🙂 Thanks for hosting. Have a nice day. XO
I do love Arnold. You have a great day and rest of the week, Ellen. Get well soon. 🙂
I remember this movie and it was a pretty good flick. Happy Wednesday!
We enjoyed it very much and watched them recently. Happy Wednesday. 🙂
One of a kind! They don’t make them like that any more!
I agree with you, Keith. We loved this movie and the next one too. 🙂
Add Mom to those who never saw the movie.
Many haven’t seen it, but it’s worth the watch. Happy Wordless Wednesday. 🙂
Oh yeah, am pretty sure I know every line in this movie.
Plus, one very short but excellent footage of a nakkid Arnold…always worth it!
What a fabulous body he had in his youth. I’m with you on this. 🙂
You just keep hitting on my faves!
I’m glad about that. I don’t know how long I’ll keep hitting these movies. Scritches to the pups and a hug to mom. 🙂
I love T1 and T2! T2 was the first sequel I ever really liked. T1 came out when I was in middle school and my parents wouldn’t let me see it because it was rated-R. lol When T2 came out. I was an adult and I loved seeing that one in the theater.
I love both of them and hubby and I watched them both recently. Great entertainment. 🙂
I bet that was fun! 🙂
Good movie and now all that cyborg stuff is working on coming true.
I hear you on that note. I love both these movies. 🙂
I liked that movie but I liked the second Terminator movie even better. We should pay attention to the development of AI and make sure it is guided well – we don’t want the Terminator movies to come true, do we? Alana ramblinwitham
They were both good. We do not want these movies to come true. Frightening. Happy Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week. 🙂
MOL MOL
“I’ll be back”, by Arnold
and
“I’m back” by Jack are two most famous short lines ever
Hugs Cecilia
I loved these movies. Thanks for being such a loyal participants in my memes. Hugs. 🙂
OMC Granny can’t remember that she ever seen this movie, Sandee. She has to see parts of it to remember, or maybe the whole movie to be sure😸😺Double Pawkisses for a happy week ahead to you and the kitties too🐾😽💞
Both of them are great movies. You have to love action and gore. Lots of gore, but worth the watch. Double Pawkisses to the kitties and a big hug to Granny. 🙂
It’s been a long time since I saw this movie. It’s a great one. Happy Wednesday!
Hubby and I watch T1 and T2 recently. Such wonderful entertainment. Action packed. 🙂
Interesting movie and the famous quote “I’ll be back” lives on in infamy. 🙂 Happy Wednesday, Sandee, and thanks for hosting this link up.
I use that term from time to time. Always will be related to Arnold. Happy Wordless Wednesday, Debbie. Hugs. 🙂
Sandee,I enjoyed the first 3 Terminator movies and the TV series. I think you will get a kick out of my Wordless Wednesday post.
I did get a kick out of your WW post. Well done, Mike. Scritches to Screwball. 🙂
That and the sequels were some of our Dad’s favorite movies. Mom not so much, but she always enjoyed the popcorn:)
Woos – Misty and Timber
I love action movies. The more action the better. Happy Wordless Wednesday. Scritches to the pups and a big hug to mom. 🙂
A classic movie from my high school years. Very nice.
I loved this movie. Worth the watch. Thanks for playing along, Patrick. 🙂
The first two Terminator films were terrific! I loved them and despite the fact he’s a bit of a cretin, I do like Arnold and the majority of his films for simple entertainment. I’ve been watching his Netflix series Fubar and it’s the same cheesy comments that made him famous as an actor. He’s a little long in the tooth, but it’s fun entertainment.
It happens to all of us at some point. Being long in the tooth. Scritches to the pups and a hug to you. 🙂
Boy, don’t I know that fact! Still he’s enjoyable to watch in movies and in that series. I’m enjoying it. Happy mid week.
One of the rare movies where the sequel was better than the first one.
I hear you and I agree. Happy Wednesday. 🙂
Um, Sandee, I entered my link as the Old Chain of Rocks Bridge as that IS the name of the park and the bridge. It was changed to just Rocks Bridge. Can you put it back that way? Thanx! c.a.
Okay, It’s way long, but I’ll put it back. 🙂
Great info about yet another Iconic movie ~ a classic ~ thanks,
Hugs to you from me and Ziggy ~ ^_^
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,
clm ~ A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative
Thank you, Carol. Love and hugs to you and Ziggy. 🙂
My husband and I think the first two were all that was needed. lol It’s always good to keep an open mind, though, and I’m happy you enjoyed the franchise. Hugs and best wishes, my dear.
I agree with you. Great movies. Hugs and best wishes back. 🙂
What can I say? I’ll be back!
That’s perfect, Lydia. 🙂
Excellent action packed film. I have not seen it in some time. But watched it many times when it first came out and the other Terminator movies. Great stuff. As always great moments of nostalgia for me when I see references to movies. Thank you Sandee
We enjoyed watching it again recently. You’re most welcome. Hugs. 🙂
It’s a great movie, and so is the sequel.
I pray you and Mr. Zane have a great week. Scritches to the kitties.
I agree. We enjoyed both.
Love and hugs, my friend. 🙂
I loved that movie when it came out. It was so different from other movies of the time,
I watched it back then and I watched it recently. As good now as it was back then. 🙂
It’s amazing how the movie’s locations in LA are still around for fans to visit—almost like stepping into a time machine.
Thanks for sharing this piece of cinematic history, Sandee!
I agree. You’re most welcome, Veronica. 🙂
It’s been eons since I’ve seen it but it sounds like the writer was ahead of his/her time. 🙂 Have a wonderful day.
Loved watching terminator.
Sorry for only getting here today, but thanks, Sandee, for hosting and happy rest of the week.
