Such a beautiful place. I’ve been thru Colorado many times but I’ve never stopped to see the sites. I need to do that next time thru.
Yes you do. There are some really great places to visit. 🙂
Breath taking place, feels like heaven 🙂 Pawkisses for a wonderful day 🙂 <3
I find most places in nature heaven. Far better than the big, noisy and dirty cities. 🙂
When my daughter lived in Colorado she talked about this place. It looks amazing and I would love to visit there
It looks like a most magical place. I love the wide open spaces of nature. 🙂
Beautiful… CH has visited the Garden of the Gods but I have not been lucky enough to make it there yet.
I hope you can go at some point. It looks like it’s well worth the trip. 🙂
That really is a beautiful place. It would be great fun to visit that some day. Sandee, you and Zane have a great day.
It’s a long way away for us and an even longer way away for you. I doubt we’ll ever make it there. Our traveling days are pretty much over. 🙂
Beautiful pic….I would like to make it out that way sometime and see the real thing. Thanks for sharing.
Hubby and I made a whirlwind trip to Death Valley, Vegas, Grand Canyon and up through Utah and back into Nevada in the 90s. We were much younger then. 🙂
WOW! That’s simply magical!
Magical is my kind of place. Love the great outdoors. 🙂
Amazing. The name adds to the beauty of this place. I find places like this inspiring. Imagine the stories attached to the area. Thank you for sharing, and for letting us share. Big hugs, my sweet friend. <3
Hubby and I will choose nature before the big cities every time. We are mesmerized by nature. Big hugs back. 🙂
And, that is part of why I love you. Hugs.
Mother Nature makes some amazing artwork 🙂
she sure does, Ellen. 🙂
Beautiful! I’ve been through Colorado a couple of times but never had time to visit anything (other than driving over Pike’s Peak once)! 🙂
I always ended up in Denver and not much anywhere else. Oh well. Denver was okay too. 🙂
A nice pick indeed. My pet rock urged me to go subclassic with mine.
I thought Seymour did an great job with Wordless Wednesday this week. So like him. 🙂
I’ve been there once upon a time (about forty years ago) and you have really captured the beauty of the place.
I wish I would have ventured here with all the times I’ve been to Colorado. 🙂
So pretty. 🙂
So majestic too. You just want to explore every inch. 🙂
What a harshly beautiful spot!
Harshly beautiful is the best kind of nature. 🙂
For certain, it is generally easier to spot vipers, etc. than if they’re camouflaged with lots of vegetation.
Oh my goodness….is this in Utah? Have a great day!
oh silly me- it’s Colorado! Wow!
I knew you’d figure it out. You’re smart that way. 🙂
Utah has some very beautiful places too, but this isn’t Utah. 🙂
America the Beautiful just doesn’t seem to be an adequate description for this marvelous country.
There are so many beautiful places in America. This is just one of them. 🙂
It can’t be. Where’s the snow?
This was probably taken during the two months of spring, summer and fall. 🙂
On my list of places to travel!
A good place to have on your list. I love to explore these kinds of places. 🙂
What a lovely place and an apt name 🙂
Have a beautytastic WWS 🙂
I thought so too, Steve. There are many great places to visit in Colorado. I want to see them all. 🙂
Spectacular! I’d love to visit Colorado someday.
I’ve been to Denver many times, but never here. 🙂
Such a majestic photo! Awed! ~ xxx
Happy Days to you,
A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbor)
It is indeed. A place I would love to explore.
Happy days to you too. Scritches to Zoe. 🙂
Wow, that’s a stunner.
You said you left a private message for me somehow, but i cannot find it. If it is on wordpress, i looked it up and i think only those who have paid accounts can send and receive private messages, and i do not have a paid account.
If there’s a step i am missing, please let me know and i will try again.
Check your email account. Check your spam folder too because I might have ended up in there since this is the first email I’ve ever sent you. 🙂
thanks for taking for a visit, alais the internet is the only way i can visit places anymore.
I hear you, Mike. It’s fun and inexpensive to travel virtually. 🙂
Beautiful, and so peaceful… I’d love to visit. x
Me too. Colorado is a beautiful state. 🙂
Beautiful
Stunning scenery!
Yes indeed, Amy. My kind of scenery. 🙂
Nature can be pretty beautiful.
It sure can, Binky. We just need to pay attention. 🙂
Wow, this scene looks like the setting for Star Wars. I really like Star Wars almost as much as Psycho. “Luke, I am your fatheh.” said by Darth Vader is one of the coolest lines in movie history….at least to me.
Shoko
You are most wise, Shoko. I agree with you. 🙂
majestic and beautiful!!!
Yes and yes, Caren, Cody and Dakota. 🙂
That looks like a beautiful place. Have a great day!:)
It sure does, Ellen. You have a great day too. 🙂
That is gorgeous! Thank you for the kind word on my niece. Apparently the care flight nurse didn’t expect to find her in such good condition and the spot where she wrecked sees four or five every year. ~shakes head~ But we are so blessed. She should be able to go home with her parents on Saturday!
Oh that’s great news on your niece. I hate being in hospitals waiting to see what’s happening with our loved ones. Sometimes it take forever for someone to tell you anything. I’m glad she’s going to go home on Saturday. 🙂
wow, that looks awesome . And Colorado is not that far from Arizona so someday I’ll drive up there — looks like a great place to take photos
Colorado and Utah are some very beautiful country. 🙂
I never been to Colorado, but I sure would like to visit and see the sites because these photos are totally awesome. Thank you for sharing and Happy Easter!
You’re most welcome. Happy Easter to you too. 🙂
Oh hello, Colorado! Pleased to meet you.
I would love to go back and explore more of Colorado. It’s a most beautiful state. 🙂
When we lived in Colorado we visited Colorado Springs and the Garden of the Gods many times. It’s beautiful there! Now when I go back to CO it’s for work and I just stay up in Northern Colorado which is a long way from the Springs.
We’re having spring like weather again here and hope you are too! Have a great rest of your week!
I knew you traveled there for work, but didn’t remember what part of Colorado. Thanks for the reminder.
We are having spring here. The temps will be in the low 80s by tomorrow. I’m ready. 🙂
It’s breathtaking. I haven’t been anywhere west except Las Vegas. I wasn’t a fan (I know…most people love it). I would like to go back and see some of the natural wonders out that a’way. 🙂
Hubby and I want to Vegas in the 90s and we didn’t care for it either. Went once and never went back. So you’re not alone concerning Las Vegas. 🙂
What a breathtaking scene. Thank you for sharing.
You’re most welcome, Eugenia. 🙂
That photo is really something, Sandee. I don’t even know what happened to my Colorada pictures but they were nothing like that. Most interesting thing I snapped was some kind of cow or elk or…never did find out what it was.
I thought this place was most beautiful. I’m an outdoor kind of gal though so I love wide open spaces. 🙂
Absolutely STUNNING! Mother Earth’s beauty still brings me feelings of astonishment, awe and love.
Thanks for sharing the Garden of the Gods!
love
Barb
Mother Earth is the very best of the best isn’t it? Yes it is. 🙂
This is a different angle than I have seen in the past … and the brooding clouds in the background really adds to the shot!
It does. I would love to have my morning coffee here and just enjoy the beauty. 🙂
When I’ve been in Colorado, everything had been covered with snow. It’s nice to see what was underneath.
No snow in the summertime. It’s nice and warm then. 🙂
I’m going to visit Colorado in July for a family reunion and i can’t wait. I’ve been there a few times and I can’t wait to go back. Such a beautiful shot. 🙂
Have fun and take lots of pictures. You’ll have a fabulous time, I’m sure. 🙂
Hi Sandee, now that’s a place I would like to hike! Quite stunning.
xx
Yes you could hike all over the place here. Keep you busy for months. 🙂
I have been there. It is beautiful!
Hubby and I need to visit here. We’ve been to Colorado, but not here. 🙂
