It’s a long way away for us and an even longer way away for you. I doubt we’ll ever make it there. Our traveling days are pretty much over. 🙂

Hubby and I made a whirlwind trip to Death Valley, Vegas, Grand Canyon and up through Utah and back into Nevada in the 90s. We were much younger then. 🙂

  1. McGuffy's Reader says:

Amazing. The name adds to the beauty of this place. I find places like this inspiring. Imagine the stories attached to the area. Thank you for sharing, and for letting us share. Big hugs, my sweet friend. <3

    Wow, that’s a stunner.

You said you left a private message for me somehow, but i cannot find it. If it is on wordpress, i looked it up and i think only those who have paid accounts can send and receive private messages, and i do not have a paid account.

If there’s a step i am missing, please let me know and i will try again.

Check your email account. Check your spam folder too because I might have ended up in there since this is the first email I’ve ever sent you. 🙂

  3. The Canadian Cats says:

Wow, this scene looks like the setting for Star Wars. I really like Star Wars almost as much as Psycho. “Luke, I am your fatheh.” said by Darth Vader is one of the coolest lines in movie history….at least to me.

    Shoko

That is gorgeous! Thank you for the kind word on my niece. Apparently the care flight nurse didn’t expect to find her in such good condition and the spot where she wrecked sees four or five every year. ~shakes head~ But we are so blessed. She should be able to go home with her parents on Saturday!

    • Comedy Plus says:

Oh that’s great news on your niece. I hate being in hospitals waiting to see what’s happening with our loved ones. Sometimes it take forever for someone to tell you anything. I’m glad she’s going to go home on Saturday. 🙂

  5. MNL says:

wow, that looks awesome . And Colorado is not that far from Arizona so someday I’ll drive up there — looks like a great place to take photos

  6. XmasDolly says:

I never been to Colorado, but I sure would like to visit and see the sites because these photos are totally awesome. Thank you for sharing and Happy Easter!

  7. BeadedTail says:

When we lived in Colorado we visited Colorado Springs and the Garden of the Gods many times. It’s beautiful there! Now when I go back to CO it’s for work and I just stay up in Northern Colorado which is a long way from the Springs.

We’re having spring like weather again here and hope you are too! Have a great rest of your week!

    • Comedy Plus says:

I knew you traveled there for work, but didn’t remember what part of Colorado. Thanks for the reminder.

We are having spring here. The temps will be in the low 80s by tomorrow. I’m ready. 🙂

  8. Rosey says:

It’s breathtaking. I haven’t been anywhere west except Las Vegas. I wasn’t a fan (I know…most people love it). I would like to go back and see some of the natural wonders out that a’way. 🙂

    • Comedy Plus says:

Hubby and I want to Vegas in the 90s and we didn’t care for it either. Went once and never went back. So you’re not alone concerning Las Vegas. 🙂

  9. Jeanna says:

That photo is really something, Sandee. I don’t even know what happened to my Colorada pictures but they were nothing like that. Most interesting thing I snapped was some kind of cow or elk or…never did find out what it was.

    • Comedy Plus says:

I thought this place was most beautiful. I’m an outdoor kind of gal though so I love wide open spaces. 🙂

  10. Marv says:

Absolutely STUNNING! Mother Earth’s beauty still brings me feelings of astonishment, awe and love.
Thanks for sharing the Garden of the Gods!
    love
    Barb
