Sorry…I couldn’t resist (it was really Seymour’s doing)…
That’s so Seymour for sure. Seymour can do no wrong. Just saying. 🙂
Well…it looks clubbable…MOL 😀 Pawkisses for a Happy Wordless Wednesday 🙂 <3
Apparently the person that went to critique this place had a hard time explaining how wonderful it was. It captures all your senses. 🙂
It certainly looks very cool but no way could I ever pay that much.
It’s a lot of money, but a once in a lifetime experience. I think it would be fun. 🙂
Dang, that’s a lot of green papers!
They have two seating’s per night and only 12 people in each seating. I believe the dinner takes about three hours. 🙂
Well I sure hope it is good stuff for all that money. Guess one is paying for all those fancy designs on the table. Amazing what people will do. Sandee, you and Zane have one fantastic Wednesday.
Yes, I suppose that is exactly what happens. There are a lot of staff that work this event too. Very highly trained too. 🙂
Oh, my goodness! At those prices, I’d never be able to get any food down! LOL! But, then, I’ve never had money to burn! Have a beautiful day, Sandee! 😀
I don’t have any money to burn either, but I was just curious about what some people will spend on hotel rooms and dining out. Now I know. 🙂
That looks interesting, but too expensive for me.Have a great day!
Too expensive for me too. It was an interesting find though. 🙂
It appears that you can get dinner and electrocuted in one evening at the same place.
That’s not a great idea is it. No it isn’t. 🙂
It’s definitely interesting I will invite you all to dine with me there and pay the bill ……..
Have a dinnertastic WWS 🙂
You can only have a total of 12 people. Of course you could book the entire evening and then you can do all 24 seating’s. 🙂
Umm… what do they serve at this restaurant that makes it worth so much? 😳
It’s not just the food, it’s the entire experience. Every sense is addressed it what I got from reading about this place. It’s three hours of awesome, and the food is very good too. 🙂
I am going to Spain in a month and I definitely will not be eating there!
I wouldn’t go either, but I’d love to know everything they offer. Playground for the very rich. 🙂
I don’t believe that there is a meal on this planet that is worth $2100. This is a place for those who have more money than common sense and who revel in their elite status. Sad group of people.
There are many very rich. I don’t begrudge them of doing what they want with their money. To many we are rich (you and I) and they might think we do things that are extravagant. It’s all relative. 🙂
it is relative indeed, however, you can’t help but notice all of the cell phone selfies being taken. I can’t imagine the DuPonts, Rockefellers, even the Gates snapping selfies to show their friends. Just sayin’.
I couldn’t disagree more with Driller. Heh… This is just the sort of place I would really like to try just once in my life. ~grin~ Thank you for sharing the awesome picture!
I would love the experience too. It’s something people like us would only do once. I’m game. 🙂
That much money for just 1 meal? I am thinking about those hungry people out there.
From what I understand it’s far more than just a meal. It awakens all your senses. I would enjoy that. 🙂
Looks like a wonderful place, but no way that I would ever pay that for a meal. Thanks for sharing.. Thanks for hosting and have a wonderful week.
I probably wouldn’t either, but is does pique my interest. Have a wonderful week too, Patrick. 🙂
My bad (Seymour told me that I could early post…I can hear his “PHFFFFFFT!” already)
You can post early. I change the links on my sidebar long before the posting day. Seymour can do no wrong. 🙂
Wow, that looks like a really awesome place to eat!
That and have all your senses awakened. 🙂
Wow, that is a lot of money for a meal. Looks like an interesting place though.
It’s far more than a meal. That’s the beauty of this. The meal appears to be secondary. 🙂
Hi my Darlin’,
I called the restaurant and got the menu for this evening’s meal. How about us getting the ingredients and going to the boat tomorrow and making it ourselves??
We can bring our flashlights and make our own light show.
Your loving Husband, Zane
zily
Sounds like a far better plan than going to Spain to visit this place. I’m with you.
Love you to pieces, my husband. 🙂
I added my wordless wednesday link. I liked your wordless Wednesday.
Thanks, Crystal. Thanks for playing along too. 🙂
You’re Welcome.
This is a good photo prompt. The stories are endless! I am late. I am struggling with a health issue. Tests will tell. It’s always something, to quote the great Roseanna Roseannadanna. I love Gilda still. HUGS, my friend.
I hope your health issue is a minor thing. It often is. I loved that show too. Very funny stuff. Big healing hugs. ♥
Thanks, Sandee. I think it is the Sarcoidosis, which is plenty. I will let you know. HUGS. <3
I had to look that up. I’ve not heard of this before today. Sounds awful. You’re in my thoughts and prayers. 🙂
What a fascinating photo ~ hope they are winning! LOL
Happy Week to you,
A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbor)
It’s a different kind of place indeed. Expensive, but most entertaining. Happy week to you too, Carol. Scritches to Zoe. 🙂
Well, you’re not only giving us a fantastic photo, you’re educating us, or at least me, as well. Great Wordless Wednesday post.
Have a fabulous day, Sandee:)
xoxo
I was just wondering what the most expensive things were were lodging and food were concerned. I had no idea. 🙂
It’s lovely and i’ll bet the food is good, but at the end of the day, all you have done is eat dinner.
I’d rather have a quiet dinner with hubby, just like you. This is way out of my wheelhouse. 🙂
2 grand, that’s just about criminal. Unless you’re feeding me for … figuring out food budget …six months
There are people that have so much money that they wouldn’t even blink spending this. I could eat very well at home on that this one dinner would cost. 🙂
I’m always happy when a fellow Spaniard does well.
As you should my friend, as you should. 🙂
oh my goodness! Have a scrumptious day!
It always amazes me what the rich do. I find it most interesting. 🙂
People with too much money.
Can you have too much money? I know you can have too little, but too much? Just wondering. 🙂
I watch a lot of cooking shows and some utilizes molecular gastronomy, it’s so exciting to see all the cool stuff they can do. i can’t believe this place is $2,000 a person. Believe it or not my exboyfriend would totally pay for a meal like this. I surely wouldn’t.
You had some great times with that rich boyfriend didn’t you? Good for you. I wouldn’t spend this kind of money either. 🙂
gah! I accidentally linked myself twice because I was changing MNL to Mary. Is there any way to take off one link? Sorry.
gosh that place expensive. $2,000 for dinner? i would like to try the most innovative dinner in the world … once. Still I have a sneaking suspension I may not have the palette for it.
Yes, I took the MNL one off and left the Mary one. Easy to do.
I would do this once too, just for the experience. I’m sure you’d do just fine. I’m thinking it’s not just the food that’s one display here. 🙂
Do you have to tip?
Probably, since there is a lot of staff working these dinners, but it may be already included in the price. So I can’t answer that question because there was no mention of tips in the article. 🙂
If the decimal point were moved a bit, it might be more reasonable to consider. 😉 🙂
I agree this is a very high price to pay for dinner and entertainment. I’d still like to do it once though. 🙂
How fascinating but It doesn’t look like a cozy place.
Apparently it will touch every sense you have and then some. A delight all the way around. 🙂
For $2,000 per meal, they’d better throw in a foot massage (heels kill my feet) and a small diamond pinky ring.
That’s not asking too much in my opinion. 🙂
No food is worth that. I’ve watched some of these creations being made on TV, and it looks quite interesting. I’ll go with the foot massage and diamond ring idea.
It’s more than food, but it’s way too expensive. I’m sure it would be an interesting thing to partake, but not having to pay would be even better. I think we’ll all go for the foot massage and the diamond pinky ring. 🙂
WOW! That looks really wild, Sandee 🙂
Please keep me in your prayers.
Monday, March 12 I go in for a biopsy.
Yes, they are looking for cancer.
You are in my prayers, Michelle. I’ve been there and it’s scary. Much love coming your way. 🙂
How cool is that?! 2,000 bucks! Not in my reality 🙂
I think it would be fun to experience, but 2k apiece is out of my league. 🙂
Hi Sandee, what a strange way to enjoy food? Are the pizzas encrusted with diamonds for that price (as if they serve pizza!).
xx
Apparently this works all your senses in a wonderful way. I would love to try it, but don’t want to spend that kind of money. 🙂
