Wordless Wednesday

WW is a simple blog post featuring a photo which conveys a message that speaks for itself without using words.

For all the rule breakers, of which I am one, please feel free to add all the words you want.

Palawan is the largest island of the province of Palawan in the Philippines and fifth-largest by area and tenth-most populous island of the country, with a total population of 994,101 as of 2020 census. The north west coast of the island is along the South China Sea, while the south east coast forms part of the northern limit of the Sulu Sea. Much of the island remains traditional and is considered by some as under-developed. Abundant wildlife, jungle mountains, and some white sandy beaches attract many tourists, as well as international companies looking for development opportunities. Source: Wikipedia

Well..I’m new in this world of blogging, so this idea it’s very new for me 🙂 But I love it! How can I do something like that ?
And your photo is really awesome , don’t worry about breaking rules 😀

That green is divine! Lovely place. I told you once. Sometimes I really can not imagine the reality there.
    But I’ll try harder!
Happy WW, dear Sandee and a fabulous week. Thank you for the blog hop!

We don’t travel anymore. We had a big trip planned and then the virus hit and that was that. To the boat and back is all we’re going to do. 🙂

    Sandee,

It’s interesting when I think of ‘island’, I think of small. I think it’s amazing there are islands such as this that aren’t only heavily populated but still has a wilderness. Traditional ways of doing things isn’t always a bad thing. I bet the people who live there don’t suffer with the same anxieties of westerners. I’m not saying it’s easy for them but are well adjusted with what they have. We would fall to pieces on the other hand if tried living in an under-developed country. Beautiful photograph!

It’s a slower pace indeed. I can remember going to Hawaii in the 80s and our first island was Kauai and we were going a million miles an hour when we got there and after a day or two we had settled in to the pace. It was a wonderful thing. Love and hugs, Cathy. 🙂

What a beautiful spot! We sure hope those developers don’t get their way. It would ruin what is special about Palawan.

Thanks for hosting, Sandee. Happy Wednesday to you, my friend!
