California really has the best of all worlds when it comes to weather. It’s a state I would love to visit. Two of my grown kids have been and they just loved it!

  2. Cathy Kennedy says:

    Sandee,

I do love beautiful wintry landscapes in photographs but I don’t want to live in a place where it looks like this mostly throughout the colder months. 🙂 Very gorgeous scene, though!

  3. Suzana says:

A very beautiful ‘painting’ with white. I have no idea why, but in my mind California was an warm country! Shame on me! 😊
Happy WW, Sandee! A pleasant week ahead!

That’s so beautiful! Placer County certainly sounds like a wonderful destination. 🙂

    Happy Wednesday, Sandee!

i agree it is gorgeous. I would love to visit this place when the snow is melted and gone and cool not cold temps. It sounds wonderful for those that are close enough to visit for a week end or a few days.

Ohhhhh, that looks beautiful! Sort of like the inside of the freezer when it needs to be defrosted… is it that cold? We don’t get snow in this part of Florida, but I’m sure it must be more fun than defrosting the freezer. BTW, I’m filling in for Ms. Purrseidon today… she hasn’t been herself since Ms Saphera went away.

I’m pretty sure most people don’t get a mental picture of snow capped mountains when they think of California. Just an example of how diverse the climate is in the Golden State.

  8. The OP Pack says:

What a beautiful scene!!! Wish we were there. We had beautiful snow all through our yard a few days ago but with two days of temps in the forties and fifties, it is mostly gone. Now the bitter cold is back.

As snowed down as can be.

    Love this stunning winter wonderland.
It’s been a very harsh winter this year and we are still reeling under a cold wave here ever since the year started. I miss the ample doses of sunshine, as all we see these days are clouds, fog and frosty days.

But I’m not going to complain and say how thankful I am for a warm, cosy home and hot water baths and piping hot food. :-))

Warm hugs and loads of love Sandee dearest. <3

    • Sandee says:

It’s cold here too, but the afternoons are delightful. Not for long, but long enough to get some warm and sun. Warm hugs and love to you , Natasha. 🙂
