WW is a simple blog post featuring a photo which conveys a message that speaks for itself without using words.
For all the rule breakers, of which I am one, please feel free to add all the words you want.
Make sure you leave a link to your post and I’ll visit your Wordless Wednesday post.

What a perfect place to live in peace and quiet.
I could go for this for a week or two. 🙂
Yes that would be long enough to enjoy the seclusion, but a return to civilisation would become a necessity after a while.
I think I would do just fine. I like out of the way places. 🙂
An island for a family?! How nice!
I couldn’t afford it, but it would be nice to visit and get some quiet time. 🙂
Sandee, that’s what we thought at first, that we can afford. However, with economy and thoughtfulness, it was possible! It is true that you are farther from Paris than we are and the transatlantic flight is probably expensive. But there are all kinds of opportunities.
Have a fine day!
Sorry for the mess! I felt like you were commenting on my travel diary.
I haven’t been to the islands! ☺
Beautiful I could do with somewhere like that now heheh!
Have a serenetastic WWS 👍
I’ll meet you there and we can get into some trouble. 🙂
I would love to spend a short holiday in this beautiful place. Have a wonderful day.
I would too, Nancy. It’s beautiful. 🙂
Now that is my kind of place.. I think I could be very comfortable there
I know I could be most comfortable there. I love anything that’s not the big city. 🙂
I’ve never been but we have the Thimble Islands in Stoney Creek, CT!
Yes indeed. I’d love to go, Miss Molly. 🙂
Had to “try” to comment as every summer vacation was spent in the 1000 Islands! Recognized photo right away!
I knew some would. It’s a beautiful place. 🙂
What a cool place. We would love to visit there, but not live there. It would be scary surrounded by water on such a small island.
It’s across the country from me, but what a wonderful place it would be to spend a week or two. 🙂
Talk about a great place to get away from it all! Beautiful place to visit but I’m not sure I could live there 24/7.
I could live there for a week or two. I love the get away from it all kind of places. 🙂
What a beautiful place to get away from it all. Happy Wednesday!
Yes indeed and that’s my kind of place. Happy Wednesday. 🙂
🤩
Perfection.

It sure is, Regine. Happy Wednesday. 🙂
One word: Idyllic.
Three words: Take me there,
One word: now!!!!
Yes, yes and yes. 🙂
Heaven on earth!!
Happy Weds, Sandee!
It would be for me. We could have our boat there and go from one place to another. Perfect. 🙂
That looks like a nice place to be. Thanks for hosting. Have a great day. XO
I’m a country kind of gal that likes water. It’s perfect. 🙂
MEOWSER! What a purrfect place…. only accessible by boat!!!
Purrseidon
We just happen to have a boat. 🙂
I had to look up Thimble Islands. Lots of rich people own them, and I would love to go take a couple of the 45 minute cruises!
Yes, there are lots of rich people that want to get away from it all. 🙂
WOW!
The Florida Furkids
It’s out of my league, but I’d love to visit for a week or two. 🙂
Ohhhh that is one gorgeous vacation home. I can almost hear the waves lapping at the shore
Hugs Cecilia
Me too and I’d love being there. Wish I could afford it. 🙂
I love this kind of image, probably because I love the sea. But I wonder if I have to stay there…
I am not sure for a long time…
Thank you, Sandee for this new and fascinating place. Of course, new for me!
Happy WW!
I love the sea too and I’d love to be there for a bit. Beautiful. 🙂
I could live there, no problem!
That makes two of us, but alas I don’t have enough money to afford this paradise. 🙂
I like both houses, both big and little, but it would have to have a storng sturdy bridge for me to live or even vist and also I am wondering if it has INTERNET. ha ha. it is beautiful. that said, now i am wondering if i could go a few days or a week without internet. i think not
I have a boat, so we can come and go when we need to. 🙂
What a beautiful place to visit and I had never heard of it. This could be an overnight or (more likely) a two night trip for me and they have boat tours. You sent me down a rabbit hole researching this place and I thank you! ramblinwitham
I’m happy about that. Learning about new places is a wonderful thing. 🙂
I think I wat to live there! 🙂
Me too, Martha. Me too. 🙂
Who wouldn’t want to have their own island?
If I could afford it I would. 🙂
How cool. That’s not very far from our house! 🙂
Happy Wednesday, Sandee. Hope you’re having a great cruise!
We’re having a great cruise. Getting ready for breakfast and then it’s off to the next port of call. 🙂
I would learn to row a boat or kayak, if I stayed on this island!
Yes and you’d be able to go here and there. 🙂
This place is great Sandee! I would love to live there! Have a fab Wednesday and week! Hugs! 🙂 <3
It sure is and I’d love to go. I love anything on the water. 🙂
Wow, I want to live there. It looks so peaceful and relaxing.
That’s what I like about it. No noisy neighbors. Peace and quiet. 🙂
Cool! I’d like to have an island of my own! Super big house and little cabin, too. 🙂 Happy Wednesday! <3
Yes and if I could afford it I probably would. Happy Wednesday. 🙂
No noisy neighbours, just imagine! Have a wonderful Wednesday Sandee.
I can imagine. I’d love it. Happy Wednesday, Keith. 🙂
Sandee,
Lovely! I like the idea but I’m too much of a scaredy Cathy to travel by boat.
Oh it’s most wonderful for us, but it’s not for everyone. 🙂
This sort of gives new meaning to then word, isolated! Lovely for a while, but I’d get lonely. xoxo
Isolated is a good thing now and then. It’s the quiet that I’d enjoy. xoxo 🙂
At first I thought that was Brother Island in the San Pablo Bay – but the Thimble Islands give off a similar vibe even on the other side of the country.
No it’s not The Brothers. Been by them many times on my way to the bay. 🙂
Looks beautiful. Might be nice for a day trip, or longer if it was certain to be calm with no storms, but I wouldn’t want to stay for long.
I don’t want the storms either, but I could do a couple of week here. 🙂
oh my what a lovely spot to be! Have a great day!
It would be grand fun to visit for a week or two. 🙂
I agree!
Oh how gorgeous is that little island! I should enter my Wondrous Words Wednesday to this blog hop today. Words are failing us here in SA.
Thanks for visiting us and for your lovely comment.
You’re most welcome. I would love to visit this beautiful place. 🙂
No gas station
Don’t need one. No cars. 🙂
I think that’ll be a perfect spot for me 🙂
It sure would be for me. 🙂
Oooh, I WANT this! I’d settle for the little cottage by the shore! 😎
Me too. Less is more. 🙂
What a beautiful summer home that would make!!
It sure would. 🙂
Lovely, Sandee… 😍 Have a splendid day!
You do the same, Bette. 🙂
Thanks and hugs! 🥰
Wow, what a peaceful spot!
That makes it even better. 🙂
a slice of paradise.
It sure would be for me. 🙂
This is a place that seems very quiet. It is gorgeous! I would like to have an island where I can go from time to time. Maybe in another life! 🙂
I wish you a fabulous day, Sandee! ❤️
We would need lots of money to have an island. You have a fabulous day too, Diana. 🙂
Imagine having an island. That could be fun sometimes.
The towel hanging from the oven at Ms. RW’s house was a play on something being tres chic. She’s not much into chic, so she put up tres sheep just to be funny.
Hope you and Mr. Zane are having a great week, hugs!
I would love to have an island. We already have a boat to get to and from the mainland.
Thank you for letting me in on what that meant. I get it now. 🙂
Looks so very lovely and peaceful.
The peaceful part is the most inviting. 🙂
WOW!!!! Love that, we’d like a couple of weeks there! Happy Purrsday Sandee! XX
I’d love to be there when you are. A beautiful place. 🙂
So beautiful ~ we have a pic similar here locally ~
Lots of Xo’s and love to you ~

What a wonderful thing. There are so many beautiful places. Love and hugs to you both. 🙂
Thimble Islands…now that’s my kind of place! And what a great house.
Mine too. I would love to visit. 🙂
I’m so happy to see your link at My Corner of the World this week!
I’m happy I found you, Betty. 🙂
Thanks for adding my link, darling Sandee. I was away traveling and just got back, so couldn’t link up on time. But as always you so sweetly got my back.
That little island looks so enticing.
Hope you are having a good start to your week, dearest.
Big hugs. <3 <3
You’re most welcome, Natasha. I don’t have a very long window for my links. I do tend to make sure that those that count get added. Big hugs back, sweet friend. 🙂
