Dubrovnik – Croatia
Dubrovnik ( historically Ragusa) is a city on the Adriatic Sea in southern Croatia. It is one of the most prominent tourist destinations in the Mediterranean Sea, a seaport and the centre of Dubrovnik-Neretva County. Source: Wikipedia

Dubrovnik is a beautiful place. I have photos of myself sat on the jetty from the castle.
You sure have traveled a lot. Good for you. 🙂
Beautiful place. Surrounded by blue sky and blue water. Have a wonderful day. Stay safe.
I love blue water. It’s so inviting. You have a wonderful day and stay safe too. 🙂
I would love to explore that place, Sandee😸😎Pawkisses for a wonderful day🐾😽💞

Looks amazing, somewhere I must visit someday 🙂
I hope you get to someday. Thanks for linking up and commenting. 🙂
That’s a lovely view good shot 🙂
Have a scenic safe WWS 😷😷😷
Yes someone knew how to capture this very well. Have a great day too, Steve. 🙂
What a beautiful place. I wouldn’t mind exploring there.
I wouldn’t mind exploring it either. 🙂
Wow – it’s just gorgeous!
It’s on the Mediterranean how could it not be. 🙂
That looks like a very interesting place to visit.
It would be. It has a very interesting history. 🙂
This is really beautiful Sandee! Have a fab Wednesday! Hugs! 🙂 <3
I thought so too, Deborah. You have a fab Wednesday too. Hugs back. 🙂
What beautiful blue water! Have a great week, Sandee!
You do the same. Happy Wordless Wednesday. 🙂
Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to live in a painting. The residents of this place certainly live in a place fit for a Rembrandt. I can even smell the salt air and feel the sunshine. Have a blessed week.
I can do both of those things too. Now to have a boat in that harbor that we can take out when we want would be most wonderful. 🙂
That really is a pretty place, we’d like to visit!
I could see myself spending a week or two here. Lots of boating to do as well. 🙂
I would love to sail the Mediterranean Sea. 🏊⛵🤗((Hugs))
That makes two of us. In my own boat though. Hugs. 🙂
Wow, that looks like such a fun place to visit. Great picture of it. Sandee, you and Zane have a really good day.
You have a really good day too, Marg. Happy Wednesday. 🙂
That looks like a beautiful place. Thanks for hosting. Have a nice day. XO
It is a beautiful place because there are boats. You have a nice day too, Ellen. 🙂
I’ve always wanted to see a castle and I know this is not a castle but it makes me think of castles. It is beautiful
It is indeed. I would love to poke around here for a few days. 🙂
When I say “Dubrovnik”, I seem to use a Boris accent (Boris Badenov from Rocky & Bullwinkle Show)!
I hadn’t thought about Boris. Now I am. 🙂
Meowser Ms. Sandee! Dubrovnik looks like a place I would like to visit… it also looks more like a fortress than a city to me.
Purrseidon
You have to read about it to know its rich history. Happy Wednesday. 🙂
Wow, what an amazing place. Yet another place we’d love to visit in the future. 🙂
How are you doing, Sandee? Have you been cruising this summer?
Happy Wordless Wednesday!
We went on our first cruise last weekend. We met up with a couple of friends and went to a restaurant for dinner two nights in a row. It was most wonderful. So good to get back out on the water. 🙂
Looks like a lot of history there.
There is a lot of history here. I read a lot about this before I posted this photograph. 🙂
Wish I were there! Great and inviting photo
I would love to explore this entire area. 🙂
Dubrovnik, Croatia is one of those cruising locations that I hear about often. People always mention that Dubrovnik, is a place you have to go to. It looks a very interesting city. See ya Sandee.
Cruisin Paul
I’ll cruise in my boat, but not the big ships. We don’t care for those one bit. It’s been a place for us to get sick. 🙂
Beautiful, we wish we were there! Happy Wednesday XX
I’ll come with you. Happy Wednesday. 🙂
Great photo and place!
Thank you Goddess Athena and your wonderful mom, Marie. 🙂
Lovely! I had always hoped to travel to the areas where my ancestors came from but with the way of the world today I don’t want to venture too far away. One of my cousins married the nicest gentleman from Croatia. He was such a kind person. I always think of Mickey when I think of Croatia. 🙂 Thanks for always being so kind. HUGS
We aren’t going anywhere anymore. We’re here or the boat. That’s it for us. Hugs back, my friend. 🙂
WOW! That looks like an amazing place to visit!
Happy Wed, Sandee!
A rich history too. Happy Wednesday, Veronica. 🙂
What a cool looking place! I think I would enjoy taking a nice stroll around there!
I’ll come with you. It would be most fun indeed. 🙂
That looks like a great place for a vacation, but we are going to put our paws on Mom and keep her here with us:)
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Mom isn’t going to leave you to go anywhere. I know that for a fact. I would do the same. She has her pack back together. 🙂
Mom recognized that photo immediately, as she and our dad were there in 2014! Thanks, as always, for linking us up. Hope the rest of your week is a good one. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer with hugs from our mom

I’d love to be out on that water exploring too. Be safe and well too, Carol. Scritches to Ms. Zoe. 🙂
haven’t been to Dubrovnik in ages. it would be nice to go now that it is empty. 😉
Yes empty is good. It’s beautiful. 🙂
A very old town and exciting to see inside I bet.
Jean
I’ll bet it is, Jean. Happy Wednesday. 🙂

This is such a gorgeous place! I would love to see it for myself some day, but now I am enjoying your photo!
I’m glad you are a part of ‘My Corner of the World’ this week! Thanks for linking up.
Me too. It looks like a great place to explore. I was happy to find you. Have a great day. 🙂
Absolutely stunning! I don’t understand why I am getting your posts a day late! It didn’t used to be that way. Happy Wednesday/Thursday. 🌞
I don’t know, but things work the way they work. Mine just isn’t working I guess. Bugger. 🙂
Not just yours. I’ve noticed other problems lately. Probably WP glitches because they are shipping out new versions behind the scenes.
That looks like a fascinating place. The fact there isn’t a beachfront makes it surreal. I’m reminded of a great science fiction movie called “Dark City”. Hugs, my dear!
I wonder if there are beaches elsewhere. Perhaps this was done by design? I don’t know. Hugs back, my friend. 🙂
Such a beautiful city (and country). Never made it to Dubrovnik but enjoyed Split.
It is beautiful indeed. A country I’d love to explore. Happy day and week. 🙂
I would love to visit Dubrovnik someday.
Me too. We won’t, but I’d like to. Our travel days are over. 🙂
Such a beautiful place. Thanks for sharing it. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.
Thanks, Patrick. You have a wonderful week too. 🙂
Gorgeous! The pic has all the beautiful elements…makes one feel so hopeful !!

Croatia is picture perfect!
You went on a cruise….. wow Sandee. This is so fantastic. Looking forward to a post on it 🙂
We went on a cruise on our boat, not a cruise ship. No pictures. We rarely do pictures anymore. 🙂
Ah!! Ok. I am sure it was a relaxing cruise ⛵
