I wouldn’t look down either. Scared to pieces of heights anymore. You have a great day too, Steve. πŸ™‚

What a pretty picture. That reminds me that there is a hot air balloon festival around here. I’m going to have to see when it is.

  2. Princess Leah says:

Ohhhh look at the pretty balloons!!!
I wonder what you can see from up there????
    Loves and licky kisses

I’d love to go up in a hot-air balloon someday though I’ve experienced being in a tethered one at my son’s school fun fair when they were little!

    Happy WW, Sandee!

Wow, what an amazing capture that is. I think it would be neat to ride in a balloon. Maybe one day, we’ll get the chance to do so. Thanks for hosting, Sandee. Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Wow. What a spectacular sight Sandee. Just look at all those calming colors! Beautiful! I’ve always wondered what a hot air balloon ride would be like. Ever been?

    • Sandee says:

No I’ve never been. I would have done it in my youth, but I’m old now and heights are just not fun for me. πŸ™‚

  6. Eastside Cats says:

I was once on the chase crew for a hot-air balloon, and it was a lot of fun! Don’t think I’d like to actually go up in one; heights are not my strong suit…

  7. Jan says:

Hot air balloons and lighthouses are on everyone’s list of things they like. And here they are in the same lovely picture.

  8. Lisa says:

I love seeing hot air balloons in the sky. We’ve been to some balloonfests and watching them do “the glow” at night is beautiful. I’d love to go up in one some day. xoxo

  9. catscue says:

Amazing! I’ve seen lot’s of balloon photos over deserts and fields, but I’ve never seen them over the ocean near a lighthouse – beautiful!

  10. Crystal says:

Hi Sandee, we decided to join your blog hop this week. It’s a 3-in-1 post. I always wondered what it would be like to go up in a balloon.

    • Sandee says:

I watch it from the ground, but I love those hot air balloons. So peaceful. You have a great 4th too. πŸ™‚

  11. Alana Mautone (@RamblinGarden) says:

We have a balloon rally where I live each August but no lighthouses near here. Love that picture. I’ve taken balloon pictures but nothing as nice as that! I may link with you next week, Sandee; we’ll see what life throws my way.
