It’s Wednesday so that means it’s question time. It’s time to ponder and then answer just one question. Okay, you can add all you want as a reason for your answer too. We’d all like that.
Here’s this weeks question: The weather is warmer and it’s time for shorts, t-shirts, and sandals. Do you wear socks when wearing sandals or any other summer shoes?
Heck no. I laugh out loud sometimes when folks do and often these are the folks that think they are so hip. Socks and sandals just don’t go together. Bless their hearts.
No socks during the summertime, but these Canadian winters can be sooo long that it's just fun to put away the winter boots and go sandal ala sock. I did that for a whole winter while going to university just because I don't like being bundled up for so long.
I'd be bundled up if I lived in Canada in the winter time. Looks mighty cold to me. 🙂
Socks? Heck no. They would look silly with flip flops.

You would be laughing here (New Zealand) all the time, but more so at the work boots, socks and short shorts the men wear. Socks and sandals are common, but more often it's jandals. (flip-flops)
Then I'd be laughing Rhonda. I've a buddy in our yacht club that wears socks always. She doesn't wear sandals though so it's all good. 🙂
No, just bare feet in sandals. If you're going to wear socks, just wear tennis shoes! I guess some people want to hide their toes.
I hadn't thought of that. I get a pedicure every two weeks so I don't need to hide my toes. 🙂

I don't wear sandals since I have really bad feet, so no socks with sandals. That would really be kind of silly. Sandee, you and that Zane and that Little Bit have a wonderful day.

As soon as it warms up enough, I am barefoot most of the time so no socks with sandals for me! I only wear socks with sneakers and that's just outside the house – once I'm home, back to barefoot!

No socks with sandals, but I remember when that was the fashion statement of the day…mid to late 90's I think. Low cut socks with my athletic shoes and I use the term athletic very loosely…it's mostly in my mind. I've never been able to go without socks for my loafers.
You know you're right. I'd forgotten about that. I wasn't a fashion statement then. No socks. 🙂
Too many rocks and other foot destroyers up here. Shoes and socks for this boy. Once in a great while I'll wear thongs and NO socks. c-)
That's all good. It's the thongs or sandals with the socks that make me scratch my head. 🙂
We had a pastor who only wore sandals. All year long. He wore socks with them, seeing as how we live in a northern state. For Mass, he would wear a color depending on the Liturgical year. Brides would dye some for him so he matched their bridal parties.
I cringe whenever I see someone wearing socks with flip flops. Besides the fact it looks terrible, it has GOT to be uncomfortable.

I never wear socks with flip flops or sandals of any kind. I don't even wear socks with my Sketchers. With my Topsiders yes, but only if it's cold and I'm wearing pants. Right now I'm barefoot. My feet enjoy it that way.
That's when I wears socks too. Long pants. And it's cold outside when I do. 🙂

With me socks and sandals don't mix. I lived in Mexico for a number of years and you could always spot the tourist—by the socks and sandals.
