It’s Wednesday so that means it’s question time. It’s time to ponder and then answer just one question. Okay, you can add all you want as a reason for your answer too. We’d all like that.
So here’s this weeks question: What habit would you like to break?
Trying to do everything perfectly. I’ve been like this most of my life. It drives me wacky at times. It just has to be perfect and often it’s not.
I'd like to break the habit of paper clutter. I keep everything so neat and organized, and then go and toss all of my papers in a pile 'to get to later.' Always leaves a mess that takes too much time to sort through by the time I get around to 'later.'
We have that problem too. Too much mail and it just stacks and stacks. 🙁
Sandee, I would also like to break the habit of trying to do everything perfectly.
So many things I have put off because I didn't think I could do it right, the first time.
I even struggle with my prayer life, wondering if I am doing it right. so sad..
Others have suffered as I did things `for them`, not giving them a chance to make mistakes.
Well, great question! Have a happy Wednesday!
It drives me crazy too. You have a happy Wednesday too. 🙂
Sugar!
That's a sweet thing to have as a bad habit. 🙂
Well, I need to do things a little more perfectly. I would like to get motivated to clean my house more often. I always have lots of excuses. Sandee, you and Zane and especially Little Bit have a great day.
We all have our crosses to bear don't we. 🙂
We know what you means =D>
Yep, my bad habit lots of people have. 🙂
My daughter calls me Mr. Perfect. I never thought I was but it seems that I need to make sure that everything is need the right place all the time like when I put things in the dishwasher it has to be in the correct location. It drives her nuts. So maybe that's a habit I need to change. Oh well, I'm just perfect ( not ) ha,ha,ha. Have a great Wednesday Sandee and day minus 3 for my cruise. See ya.
Cruisin' Paul
You'll be perfect on your cruise. You'll see. 🙂
I'd like to break the habit of putting things off instead of just getting them done. I have so much I want/need to do but I find it hard to get motivated to do them (like paint the garage, ugh.). I was just thinking yesterday that it's time to just do it! After tax season of course. 🙂
Hope you have a lovely day Sandee! Smooches to Little Bit.
Then you'll be too tired to paint the garage. You'll do it though. You have a lovely day too. 🙂
Too many opportunities for improvement to list here.
It was hard to pick just one. I've a list myself. 🙂
not taking to time to take a deep breath and really enjoy what I am doing at that very moment. Speaking of which- have a lovely day NOT being perfect!
Looks like we are all sailing in the same imperfect boat. 🙂
I seem to have a habit of being called in for jury duty on a regular basis, sometimes even more than once a year.
I would love to break that habit.
That's no fun at all. I hate jury duty and they never use me. They call me for criminal cases instead of civil cases. 🙂
Overeating!
Sometimes I do this too. Especially on boating weekends and then some home and spend all week taking the weight off. 🙁
At this point in my life, double checking every move I make. Sandee, all my postings for the moment will be at Obama Cartoons
Double checking becomes very important as we age. We do that too because often we think we did something and we really didn't. Thanks for letting me know where you are posting. 🙂
Breaking wind
have a tanfastic day Sandee :-h
That's a bad habit? If it feels good do it. 🙂
Procrastinating. There are always so many other things that need done, I can easily put off the things I don't want to do.
Oh and I can do this one well too. Too well at times. 🙂
Procrastination, as Christine says. It's going to kill me. But maybe i can put that off, too!
I think you can put that off indeed. Why not. 🙂
I guess right now I would like to break my poor eating habits and start eating healthier. Not easy I just love food too much 🙂
Healthy eating is something that's very hard to do Ann. I have the same problem. All the good stuff isn't good for you. 🙁
smoking. for sure. I've cut it down from a pack and a half to half a pack but I've still stuck at a half a pack for nearly 2 years ow. grimbleschnitz.
big hugs xoxo
The hardest thing I ever did was quit smoking. It's been years and years, but it was tough and it took me 18 months before I felt good again. I can't imagine smoking now. I hope you can kick the habit at some point. 🙂
What habit? That is hard! When I am nervous and driving I bite my nails. I have a habit of not seeing the good in myself. And I have a habit of not DOING things for myself. I really do try and work on it!
Well, you're not much different than the rest of us gals. It's the knowing we're not alone that's the best of it all. We are not alone. 🙂
Nun.
You're a lucky one. 🙂
I suppose it would be double checking everything!! xoxo Catherine
I think that's a mom thing don't you? It sure was that way for many many years. 🙂
Waking up late. I want to become a morning person. I am trying but I don't know why it doesn't work on weekends..hahaha!!
I know you're a night owl. You've battled with getting to the office on time for years. 🙂
Dropping things by the door when I first walk in — i should go ahead and put things away right away.
