Wednesdays Question

questionIt’s Wednesday so that means it’s question time. It’s time to ponder and then answer just one question. Okay, you can add all you want as a reason for your answer too. We’d all like that.

Here’s this weeks question: Do you dream about making a big purchase for something that you really don’t need?

Yes, hubby and I are both drooling over buying a new boat. Our boat is 15 years old and the new boats are really awesome. So, we may or may not do this. Here’s the boat we want…Sea Ray 370 Sundancer.

Now that is a great looking boat. I vote that you do it. Don't forget life is short so enjoy it to the hilt. I just want to have enough money to to take care of all my animals. Sandee, you and Zane and and Little Bit have a great day and we want a picture of you in that nice new boat.

It's beautiful. You know my financial situation. Any purchase is only a dream right now. We can't even buy a $400 fishing boat, lol. But that's ok. It is what it is. Hope you get it!

  3. Traveling Bells says:

Not any more. We pretty much have all we want/need. Even our 11 yo Moho is hopefully our final one. We have it tricked out just right, so unless there is an accident….this is it! Now that is one fine boat you posted, and I can see why you both are dreaming. I drooled a bit myself. Dreaming never hurts! It might happen.

Scritches to LB. Big hugs times two, honey…

Hmm, I have been lusting after a pickup truck for awhile now. I miss mine. But its not feasible at the moment. I guess next on my list would be an ipad. But since I have two working laptops at home ( his and hers) there's no reason for that investment either. But a girl can dream! And of course, there's always camera gear to drool over…….

Not really anymore since I got my Camero. Cruising once a year is about it ( maybe a longer cruise ) and a small vacation in the summer.
Have a brilliant sunny Wednesday Sandee. Say hi to Zane & Little Bit. See ya.

Yes! I dream of receiving 2 million dollars.
Then go to Disney World/MGM Studios for one year.
Stay in all the hotels, eat at all their fine eateries, plus at Cinderella's Castle.
Do everything there is to do, over & over!! w-)

Yes we are "dreaming" about buying a car, our dilemma is I am the key driver, what I would choose and what he would choose are different, so it will be interesting to see how this turns out.I would like a medium car like a Camry he wants a Chrysler 300, ugh, to big!

Martin 000-17sm Guitar. Way more expensive than my playing ability deserves, but it is beautiful. Outside of a car, the only thing I ever splurged on for just myself was a pool table, and on my 70th birthday this May, dad-blast it I am getting that guitar!

What a gorgeous boat! I hope you are able to get one! I dream of buying a house on the coast. Trouble is, Isabella gets car sick so we couldn't take her there on the curvy roads and she needs her inhaler every day so we couldn't go since we have to stay home with her. Maybe one day though!

Have a fabulous Wednesday Sandee! Scritches to Little Bit!

New boat, Sandee? Sounds wonderful! 🙂 To be honest, I don't dream of purchasing things that I cannot afford, because as corny as this may sound, I am happy with the little I have. I am a minimalist and don't like clutter. LOL!

Those days are over. However I have plans to relocate to Bangalore from Chennai to be nearer to my second son. Recently I have booked an accommodation in a mulistoried aprtment in Bangalore which will be ready in ayear's time. I have sell my house in Chennai to buy this new flat atbangalore. Though a tall task considering the present dismal condition of real estate market in Chennai, I have decided to go ahead with this dream project.
    have a great day!

First of all, that is a beautiful boat, but I'd bet your current boat is very nice, too. Boats don't fit our lifestyle… I'm a born sailor, but my husband is no fun on a boat.
Just think back to when Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble bought a boat between them. They couldn't decide on a name, one wanted Nautical Lady and the other, The Queen of the Sea. They ended up blending the two names and calling it Nausea. My husband fights the nausea, but it's a losing battle for him on boats and roller coasters.

We have always wanted a huge plot of land in a more rural setting, but it would've been better when our girls were little. Now that they're fixing to move out, we wonder do we really need a farm when we should be thinking of downsizing?

A little cottage on the beach for the two of us would be more apt for our future, but
just try finding that without a million condos all around.

Our current boat is nice, but it's getting pretty long in the tooth. The newer boats are equipped far better than the older ones. Neither of us get seasick. We've cruised to Hawaii and back without a problem.

I hear you about the land thing. I'd go for the cottage too. Perhaps just get one of the condos too, and it's all good. 🙂

That is an invite I would love to accept. We'll pick up the bill for dinners and gas… and pills and patches for anti-seasickness for hubby that may cost even more than lobster dinners for us all 😉

      Just talking about dreams, right?

    • Comedy Plus says:

We're a long way from each other, but things happen. We have a friend coming from Australia in October. You'll get to read about that later on. It's great fun meeting blogging buddies. 🙂

I would like to take my sweetie for a trip first to Venice ( he's never been there ) and then Scotland. We don't "need" a trip but I would like to do this for him. We have not been overseas for about 8 years and we have good friends in Scotland plus Amsterdam and Paris. We shall see!

  14. Ron Russell says:

That is really, really nice. I was a boat person for all the years I lived in Florida, but alas those days are just memories now! No big purchases in the works!

  15. Stephanie Faris says:

Not me, but my husband constantly talks about buying a boat. I'm not the type who would enjoy hanging out on the lake all weekend–maybe going out for an hour or so, but not all day! So he'd probably be fine with just a fishing boat, since that's mostly what he wants to use it to do.

  16. Michelle F says:

I just dream of going to Disney World/MGM studios!! (for a year)
Staying in all of their best hotels and eating their grand food.
Of course, this is after we earn 4 million dollars…LOL
