It’s Wednesday so that means it’s question time. It’s time to ponder and then answer just one question. Okay, you can add all you want as a reason for your answer too. We’d all like that.
Here’s this weeks question: You’re hungry for pizza. Where do you go and what do you order?
There is a lot of great pizza out there, but my favorite is Round Table Pizza. Hubby likes the combo, and I love pepperoni and mushroom.
I don't have pizza often but I like pepperoni Pizza and usually get it from Pizza Express delivery 🙂
Have a combotastic day Sandee g-)
I love pepperoni a lot. 🙂
We buy frozen pizzas – Totinos Combination (pepperoni & sausage on a crisp crust. I don't normally like pepperoni at all (too greasy for me) but these are small bits so it's fine. They come in a 4-pack for less and we usually have 2 boxes in the freezer at any given time. We both like them. They're about a buck a piece and take about 16-17 minutes. Tipping not necessary. 🙂
Cheap, fast & good. D for Done.
If they're out of Combination we just buy the Cheese ones.
And now you know.
Have a delicious day! xoxo
Those are super yummy! Like the pizza we got for school lunches.
I've never had one of those. I'll give them a try. If you say they are good then I'm sure they are. 🙂
I don't remember pizza for school lunches, but I remember cheeseburger day. Those were great cheeseburgers. 🙂
Every time we go back home to Canton, we get a sausage, pepperoni, and mushroom pizza from Italo's. We've lived many places and eaten a lot of pizza in all of those places, but nothing compares to Italo's.
When I am hungry for Pizza, I make my own. Green peppers, onions, cheese, and ground beef and pizza sauce. Cheaper that way too. Now you have made me hungry Sandee. Sandee, you and Zane and Little Bit have one fun day.
It's like Round Table here, nothing beats Round Table here. 🙂
I've never made a pizza before. I guess I should give it a go. 🙂
I don't. Not anymore.
I am in Weight Watchers so now I eat a pizza that I buy online called "Pizza Fit" it's only 6 points and is a great size for one person. I sautee onions and peppers and sometimes use pepperoni (which only adds one more point)
If I go out and splurge, my favorite is "white" pizza. (That's pizza with no tomato sauce, some people don't know what that is, so sorry if you do know). It has cheese olive oil, garlic, often Greek seasoning (or Italian seasoning) and it is my all time favorite! I like to have broccoli on it, mushrooms, onions….sometimes meatballs….just no sauce. It is delicious!
I will also make this at home with a low carb "crust"
Don't you love how I took a simple question and totally complicated it? lol
Have a great day!
xoxoxo
catchatwithcarenandcody
The white pizza sounds really good. I'd like that I think.
You didn't complicate the question at all, you answered it truthfully. 🙂
We get our pizza from Naples Pizzeria. I order a large pizza with pepperoni, bacon, ham onions, green olives & mushrooms. Some time I'll order a side order of anchovies. I always ask them to put on extra sauce. There sauce is the best. The cheese is already on when you order the pizza. Yum, yum, yum.Burp. Sorry about that. It's the sauce doing that. Ha,ha,ha.
Have a wonderful Wednesday Sandee. Say hi to Zane & Little Bit from me. See ya.
Cruisin Paul
I too think the sauce makes the pizza. I think I'm hungry for pizza now. 🙂
I don't have it much now that my husband is gone. I love them but the store bought kind sucks and to order the pick up kind is so expensive for just one plus I have to eat it three days in a row then. I need to start making my own.
I'd hate to eat a pizza for days too. I get it. 🙂
Dominos Pizza
Vegetarian with extra cheese.
Have a great day!
I like vegetarian pizza too and have it now and then. 🙂
Well… I have choices for where to go.
There's the Take 'n Bake, Mary's Pizza Shack, or Round Table.
But I always order salami.
Oh, I forgot to mention I spent 20+ years making pizza.
So of push comes to shove, I can always build one at home.
There are some great take and bake pizza's. Then there is Round Table. 🙂
I'll bet you make a great pizza Uncle Skip. 🙂
If we get pizza out I like Cibelli's Hawaiian pizza. If we make pizza here, my hubby makes yummy chorizo or sausage pizza with roasted red peppers and lots of veggies. Yum! I'm not a fan of pepperoni but hubby is so sometimes he puts it on his pieces.
Happy mid-week Sandee! Scritches to Little Bit!
Your hubbies pizza sounds great. 🙂
With my family's size it always seems to be Little Ceasers, but I would rather Papa Johns!
Papa Johns is great pizza too. 🙂
Long time stopped taking pizza. Actually, I loved pizzas but pizza over here is quite expensive. Now need to watch my weight, so no pizza for me.
We rarely have pizza here anymore either and for the same reason. 🙂
Hubby is asst manager at a convenience store down the street, and they have the best pizzas. That kind with cheese that pulls away when you lift the slice- yummy. He gets a meat lovers on his side and I get green peppers and onions on mine.
Sounds like a great meal and when the cheese pulls away you've got some good pizza. 🙂
Once i year i treat myself to a gluten free vegan pizza from a local bakery. Sweetie is not big on pizza at all, and my girls are vegetarian so only eat theirs with peppers and onions and such on them. My boys never met a pizza they didn't like, up to and including the anchovies for #1 Son.
I forgot that you have vegans in your house. Those are good pizzas too. 🙂
I'm a pizza slut. That is one of my desert island foods. I like so many that it's hard to choose. I prefer my crust on the thin side, not as much meat, standard veggies… But times just plain cheese twirls my skirt. At round table, I like mushroom and onion and extra cheese.
My favorite pizza is th J&G special at J&G pizza in Manchester TN. Sausage, peepers, onion, and extra cheese.
I used to be a pizza slut, but can't eat it very often anymore. I gain too much weight and that's not good. 🙂
Now that sounds like a great pizza Jean(ie). 🙂
Napolis and I get cheese pizza. Mm hmm hmmm
I don't think I've ever had a cheese pizza. I'm sure it's good, but I've never had one. 🙂
Westshore Pizza in Tampa makes New York style pizza, which you can fold in half, and is a big favorite of mine with pepperoni, mushrooms and extra cheese. But I'm not a pizza purist. I also like deep dish Chicago style from Cappy's with the same ingredients. There used to be a place here, I think it was Godfather's, that had a double crust deep dish which was amazing, but that was year's ago. I also like a thin crust with veggies. Basically I love pizza almost indiscriminately, i.e., I stop short of calling myself a slut about it 😉
Pizza is good stuff. There are so many wonderful ways to have it too. 🙂
I forgot to mention that I hate anchovies. Of course my husband would love them. Opposites attract, right?
I'm not an anchovies fan either. Thank goodness hubby isn't either. 🙂
Well- true confessions: I don't like pizza. BUT Russell loves it- so we go to Zeppo's in Lake Oswego Oregon when we are up there and he's a happy man! I order their Garllic Aliolio pasta….yum
Cheers!
Some folks just don't like pizza, not many, but some. 🙂
When I am home we order pizza for delivery from to ROMAS. We b usually get a vegetarian pizza, but no peppers. They gas up our tummies 🙂
I so love peppers but sometimes they don't like us either. 🙂
That's easy for me—"Pizza Hut". My wife was a manager there for years and I really love their supreme!
I don't think I've ever had Pizza Hut and they are around here too. 🙂
Pizza comes in so many varieties, it's hard to pick a favorite. They're all good.
That's true. We just always go to Round Table when we want a great pizza. 🙂
My answer will be different because I live in Montreal, Canada. I don't have pizza often, though, but there are two or three places here that are very good. 🙂
It's good to have a good pizza place when you finally have that pizza. 🙂
Back in the day, I worked at Shakey's Pizza while going to school at the University of Oklahoma.
Now, our choice for pizza is a local Arkansas chain named Gusanos. Their thin crust pizza is just the best and if you're in the mood for the Chicago deep dish pizza, this is the only place to go. Our favorite is the thin crust "Grubs Choice" which features Italian sausage, red onions, mushrooms and black olives. A close second is the "Carnivore Craze" which is a meat lovers delight. Gusanos is, hands down, the best pizza in Northwest Arkansas.
I remember Shakey's Pizza. That was a good place long ago. They are all gone from around here. Hubby would love that Carnivore Craze. 🙂
Round Table is my favorite too if I'm hungry and impatient. Otherwise we like Papa Murphy, pick up and take home to bake at 450 degrees. Somehow the raw pizza seems to be more wholesome.
Papa Murphy's is my second favorite. 🙂
For take home, Papa Murphy's is the best.
I'll agree with that Driller. Papa Murphy's is the best take home. 🙂
There is a place down the street called Ramundos pizza. New York thin crust with mushrooms and onion
I've not had New York pizza. I hear it's very good. 🙂
We have a great all-you-can eat pizza/salad buffet in town, so you can sample a variety of pies. My fave is a Greek pizza we get in WPB. Awesome.
Big hugs, honey…
Greek pizza. Sounds mighty good. 🙂
I grew up in Chicago, and that is where my favorite pizza will always be – Giordanos. San Francisco, had decent pizza, but New Zealand not so much. There is one great spot in Auckland – Sals Pizza, run by New Yorkers.
New Yorkers…that explains the good pizza. 🙂
Dear Sandee, If I am going to go out for pizza; I like my local pizza place. It is a bit like the show Cheers. Everyone knows your name and it is cozy and comforting and family run. They do make a good pizza too. xoxo Catherine
Sounds like a fun place Catherine. I would love going there. 🙂
A local place called Reed's Pizza. I like pepperoni mushrooms and onions. Wade likes a meat lovers pizza. We just had pizza a few days ago from there.
I think I'll put more veggies on my pepperoni pizza next time. 🙂
