The Face Lift

The first phase of our boats face lift has been completed. It’s awesome to say the least. As you know we had horrible carpeting and drapes throughout our boat. We just couldn’t keep things clean, but now we can. Behold the new look of our 340 Sea Ray Sundancer.

Our boat is 37 feet LOA (length over all) and has a beam of 11′ 5″. It’s well laid out and we can spend weeks on her and be just fine. Here are some pictures so you can see how nice it looks.

That floor is awesome. Bullet proof even with dog toenails. Vacuum and damp mop and you’re done. I love it.

The view from the other end of the salon. This all made the boat look far bigger too.

The new bed with the fitted quilt. The bed is firm and pure heaven.

This is the flooring in the cockpit. It goes from the controls (helm) all the way to and including the swim platform. Vacuum and damp mop as well. Clean, clean and clean.

So, what do you think?

I think she is beautiful. I'd be in a New York if I could to help you celebrate and we'd bring the crab legs, lobsters, & shrimp. One more thing… I'm channeling an episode of the Flintsones right now, so please don't name her a combination of Nautical Lady and Queen of The Seas.

It is fantastic! What a gorgeous boat! What kind of flooring is it? It does look easy to keep. I love the bedroom area – so romantic. And I totally agree with what someone above said that it looks like something on lifestyles of the rich and famous. Where do you go in it?

Congratulations Sandee! Wow, she is lovely. The floors and other wood trim look wonderful. She looks like new. And the bed looks really inviting. No wonder you spend so much time on her.

Just beautiful. Oh what a dream come true for you two. WOW! I am so happy for you and Zane. You two are getting to fulfill your dreams. You two worked very hard to make your dreams a reality and that is so awesome. Happy cruising for the rest of your years which will be a very, very long time to come. I love you bunches, and I am just so happy for you. I love that I can live through your dreams, lol! You know when your young your dumb, and you think (me) oh I have time to save, no biggie. WRONG! So for any young people out there that may be reading Sandee’s blog, don’t put off staching every penny you can every week because in the end you will thank the good Lord above that you did.
Love & Hugs to you two ♥ ♥

It’s a small boat, but we have it like we like it. We did a nice facelift. It was pretty bad before we started. It’s beautiful now. Love you back honey. 🙂

    Sandee,

You boat is really nice! The only boat I’ve ever been on other than a paddle boat is DH’s brother’s ski boat. I often wondered what the inside of one of these look like. Can you take this size boat on the ocean or is it more for lakes and river travel? I’m really clueless about these things, so pardon my ignorance. 🙂 I’m glad you sent me the link to this post so I’d could tour your home away from home on the water.

Yes you can take this boat out in the ocean. This boat has been to the San Francisco bay many times and to Santa Cruz. That’s a fair piece on the ocean. We won’t take her out in the ocean, but we’ve been under the Golden Gate a few times. 🙂
