I’m thankful that today is Thanksgiving. Hubby and I are going to have our Thanksgiving dinner on a train today. The train goes 32 miles into the foothills and we’ll be enjoying some wine and a fine dinner. It’s a three hour trip. No shopping, no preparation, no cooking and no cleanup.
I’m thankful that our boat will be going in for its final face lift on December 7th. We had an appointment with the guy that does the work and we’re good to go. I’ll take before and after pictures so you can see what got done. This will be a huge transformation. As you know I can’t wait.
I’m thankful we decided to take out the old analog television and put a flat screen HD television. We don’t watch much television on the boat as there are tons of other things to do, but there are times we’d love to see the news at least.
I’m thankful that I can wish everyone that celebrates Thanksgiving, a very happy and healthy Thanksgiving. May you enjoy whatever you have planned and have a wonderful meal. We all have much to be thankful for.
So what are you most thankful for today?

Cruisin Paul
I'm glad your mothers estate is almost done. Have a fabulous day Paul. 🙂
What a great idea to go for a train ride. Sandee, we are grateful for lots of things and one of those is having you as our friends. We are thankful that all the kitties came her to live. We are thankful for all the blogging friends. We are thankful for the roof over our head. We are thankful to be on this side of dirt. Anyway, Sandee you and Zane have a fantastic train ride.
You're a wonderful friend too Marg. Happy Thanksgiving to you and all your babies. 🙂

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope it's a great day. I would love to do a train ride like that some day!
Then find a dinner train and do it. It's such great fun. 🙂
We do have so much to be thankful for! Have a lovely train ride- what a great idea!
Bigger hugs to you and Zane!
Hubby came up with this idea. I thought it was a great idea. Happy Thanksgiving. 🙂
Boy, does that train/dinner ride sound like fun! I would do that in a heart beat.
Have a good day and I know you are thankful year around…on Thursdays. It's always nice to come here and be reminded of that more often than just in November.
It's been a long time since I was on a dinner train, but it was a most fun experience. Happy Thanksgiving. 🙂
You'd be happier not seeing the news.
This is true. Very true. Happy Thanksgiving. 🙂
What a wonderful day you have planned. I am thankful for our heath and hubby and I are eating alone and watching a pay per view movie on tv before a game he wants to watch comes on. Dinner is already almost done and it is only 9 AM. We did a ham this year.
He is asst manager at a store and had to work today from 5 am to 2 pm. We do what we have to. Have an amazing day on the train. I will be thinking of you. Happy Thanksgiving!
I'm sorry hubby had to work today, but you'll have a great dinner for him. He'll appreciate that. Happy Thanksgiving. 🙂
Thankful I am a minor cook for the feast at my niece's home! Here with my sister in Virginia. Home tomorrow.

I'm grateful for my wonderful son, parents, and friends like you! Oh, and Simon of course.
Wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving day and evening.
(And if you guys are on the boat this evening, blow a kiss to the stars for me.)
"Huge Hugs"
xoxoxo
We had a fabulous day yesterday Annie. It was great fun and very relaxing. Huge hugs back. 🙂
Sounds a wonderful way to celebrate your Thanksgiving Sandee. Hope you & Mr. Plus 😀 had a great time.
Plus is your surname isn't it? I assume your nickname is Comedy? 😉
Oops… I messed up my emoticon should've been 🙂
Zane and I had a great time. 🙂
It's Zane and Sandee Clark. I thought you knew that. 🙂
Okay, glad you got your emoticon right. 🙂
No I never knew what your surname was. I didn't even know Zane's name. I'm probably not very observant. I even called Michelle by my ex-wife's name once when we'd only been married for a short time. She never forgets that one either. If anyone's talking about not remembering names she'll point to me & say "Yeah he even called me by his ex-wife's name once". A woman's scorn is eternal I think… 😀
The train trip sounds divine! I wish we had something like that around here. Our T-day was wonderful and delicious. My parents are getting a bit more frail with each passing year but they are still doing pretty good for their ages and are able to get around okay… and I am so thankful to still have them with me.
Can't wait to see you boat re-do!
big hugs xoxo
I know you're enjoying your parents. They don't hang around long enough. Mine are long gone. 🙂
That train trip should be really good and quite a unique experience.
It was Binky. The ride was fun, the weather was chilly but sunny, and the food was great. 🙂
That's one thing I miss since we left Brisbane & came back to Tasmania. We have no trains here. Or I should say no passenger trains. There are freight trains only.
I'm so glad you enjoyed your train ride! That really sounded like fun!
It was very fun. We had a great time and are planning on doing the ride again next year. Make it a Thanksgiving tradition. 🙂
