Thankful Thursday

I’m thankful that today is Thanksgiving. Hubby and I are going to have our Thanksgiving dinner on a train today. The train goes 32 miles into the foothills and we’ll be enjoying some wine and a fine dinner. It’s a three hour trip. No shopping, no preparation, no cooking and no cleanup.

I’m thankful that our boat will be going in for its final face lift on December 7th. We had an appointment with the guy that does the work and we’re good to go. I’ll take before and after pictures so you can see what got done. This will be a huge transformation. As you know I can’t wait.

I’m thankful we decided to take out the old analog television and put a flat screen HD television. We don’t watch much television on the boat as there are tons of other things to do, but there are times we’d love to see the news at least.

I’m thankful that I can wish everyone that celebrates Thanksgiving, a very happy and healthy Thanksgiving. May you enjoy whatever you have planned and have a wonderful meal. We all have much to be thankful for.

So what are you most thankful for today?

That sounds like a fun way to spend Thanksgiving. For the first time in over 30 years I am not cooking dinner today. We're going to my daughters for our Thanksgiving dinner so I'm thankful for that. I'm also thankful for having the day off

What a great idea to go for a train ride. Sandee, we are grateful for lots of things and one of those is having you as our friends. We are thankful that all the kitties came her to live. We are thankful for all the blogging friends. We are thankful for the roof over our head. We are thankful to be on this side of dirt. Anyway, Sandee you and Zane have a fantastic train ride.

Boy, does that train/dinner ride sound like fun! I would do that in a heart beat.

Have a good day and I know you are thankful year around…on Thursdays. It's always nice to come here and be reminded of that more often than just in November.

What a wonderful day you have planned. I am thankful for our heath and hubby and I are eating alone and watching a pay per view movie on tv before a game he wants to watch comes on. Dinner is already almost done and it is only 9 AM. We did a ham this year.
He is asst manager at a store and had to work today from 5 am to 2 pm. We do what we have to. Have an amazing day on the train. I will be thinking of you. Happy Thanksgiving!

Oh, it sounds like you and hubby are going to have a great Thanksgiving Day, and I cannot wait to see the before and after pictures of your boat.

I'm grateful for my wonderful son, parents, and friends like you! Oh, and Simon of course.

Wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving day and evening.

(And if you guys are on the boat this evening, blow a kiss to the stars for me.)

The train trip sounds divine! I wish we had something like that around here. Our T-day was wonderful and delicious. My parents are getting a bit more frail with each passing year but they are still doing pretty good for their ages and are able to get around okay… and I am so thankful to still have them with me.

Can't wait to see you boat re-do!

    big hugs xoxo
