Thankful Thursday

I’m thankful that we rejoined Ebony Boat Club this past Saturday. What’s different about them? Fellowship. Lots of fellowship. Other clubs just don’t seem to have that component.

I’m thankful that our boat is being worked on. I will admit we get email’s about things that need replaced. It can get pricey, but you have to have your boat in good working order to be able to enjoy going places safely.

I’m thankful that my granddaughter is working full time in her field. She wants to eventually become a pharmacist, but for now she’s happy being a pharmacy tech. She has never given up this dream and we’re so proud of her.

I’m thankful for a wonderful sister. We talk to each other often, and see each other now and then. She’s a wonderful sister. We just had a conversation the other day about getting old. It was more laughter than not.

I’m thankful for my wonderful husband who is amazing all the time. He calls me his trophy bride. He’s four years older than me, so trophy bride really doesn’t fit at all. I like it though.

What are you thankful for today?

Good for you Sandee to be so thankful for all those things. There are a lot of things to be thankful for in our world too. Sandee, you and Zane have a fantastic day.

Sisters are the absolute best. I've had them all of their lives (since I'm the eldest) and treasure them. Even the youngest, who is 7 years younger than I am. When I was in high school she was a bit of a whiny tattletale. And I never let her forget it either. LOL. 😀

Have a marvelous day with your awesome hubby! xoxo

My husband is five years older…I'm going to mention that I'm his trophy bride! Pharmacy tech is a great job! Good for your daughter. I don't know how much school is involved in being a pharmacist, but I couldn't do all the math that it took to work in the medical field.

I'm seven years older than my wife so, over the years, I have been accused of robbing the cradle. After 42 years, she's still the best thing I ever heisted.
Our oldest grand daughter turned 20 this week and we are thankful for everything about her. She is a sophomore in college and wants to be a teacher. She loves kids and is going the be that teacher that her students will remember the rest of their lives.

Yay for your granddaughter! That's a good job. High demand. And if she plays her cards right, she can get college paid for. It is good to reminisce the happy times with family. Hugs to you and your trophy husband!

Your husband is so sweet! I can't wait to meet him! 🙂 Glad your boat is getting all fixed up before boating season too! I'm thankful that in one month I'll be back home from my end of tax season trip to Colorado and can finally relax and do whatever I please instead of sitting at this desk every.dang.day. *sigh*

    Have a wonderful holiday weekend!

Your hubby is a keeper. You know that!

Our oldest granddaughter graduates HS in May and has received some nice scholarships. We are thankful for her success, and the many choices she has been offered.

Big hugs from rainy WPB, honey…
