I’m thankful that we rejoined Ebony Boat Club this past Saturday. What’s different about them? Fellowship. Lots of fellowship. Other clubs just don’t seem to have that component.
I’m thankful that our boat is being worked on. I will admit we get email’s about things that need replaced. It can get pricey, but you have to have your boat in good working order to be able to enjoy going places safely.
I’m thankful that my granddaughter is working full time in her field. She wants to eventually become a pharmacist, but for now she’s happy being a pharmacy tech. She has never given up this dream and we’re so proud of her.
I’m thankful for a wonderful sister. We talk to each other often, and see each other now and then. She’s a wonderful sister. We just had a conversation the other day about getting old. It was more laughter than not.
I’m thankful for my wonderful husband who is amazing all the time. He calls me his trophy bride. He’s four years older than me, so trophy bride really doesn’t fit at all. I like it though.
What are you thankful for today?

Trophy bride, that is so cute. You gave me my dose of warm and funny for the day 🙂
That's what he calls me all the time. 🙂
um that was supposed to be fuzzy not funny
I knew you meant fuzzy. 🙂
Love your gratitude posts. Glad you are back in a boat club you love. I am looking forward to spending a bit of time with my sister.
We are happy we're back in our boat club again too. 🙂
Good for you Sandee to be so thankful for all those things. There are a lot of things to be thankful for in our world too. Sandee, you and Zane have a fantastic day.
If we just pay attention there are so many things to be thankful for. 🙂
Sisters are the absolute best. I've had them all of their lives (since I'm the eldest) and treasure them. Even the youngest, who is 7 years younger than I am. When I was in high school she was a bit of a whiny tattletale. And I never let her forget it either. LOL. 😀
Have a marvelous day with your awesome hubby! xoxo
My sister and I are very close too. She is younger, but wasn't a tattletale. I was lucky. 🙂
My husband is five years older…I'm going to mention that I'm his trophy bride! Pharmacy tech is a great job! Good for your daughter. I don't know how much school is involved in being a pharmacist, but I couldn't do all the math that it took to work in the medical field.
Sarah is very good at math so I'm sure she'll do fine. 🙂
I'm seven years older than my wife so, over the years, I have been accused of robbing the cradle. After 42 years, she's still the best thing I ever heisted.
Our oldest grand daughter turned 20 this week and we are thankful for everything about her. She is a sophomore in college and wants to be a teacher. She loves kids and is going the be that teacher that her students will remember the rest of their lives.
Sounds like you too have a great granddaughter. We are both lucky with that and having wonderful mates. 🙂
My hubby is a few years older too, so I guess that makes me a trophy bride as well 🙂
I'm thankful for my sister as well. She's the best.
I think you're a trophy bride. Yes I do. 🙂
Who needs a boat when you can fly?
Most of us can't fly Kismet. We're not as lucky as you are. 🙂
Your Thanks Giving to your boat, sister, grand daughter and hubby is wonderful.
Have a great Thursday!
Thank you my friend. 🙂
Yay for your granddaughter! That's a good job. High demand. And if she plays her cards right, she can get college paid for. It is good to reminisce the happy times with family. Hugs to you and your trophy husband!
Yes I do have a trophy husband. He's the better half for sure. 🙂
Nice post Sandee and a lot to be thankful for too,
Have a thankfultastic day :-h
You're a thankful kind of guy and it shows Steve. 🙂
Your husband is so sweet! I can't wait to meet him! 🙂 Glad your boat is getting all fixed up before boating season too! I'm thankful that in one month I'll be back home from my end of tax season trip to Colorado and can finally relax and do whatever I please instead of sitting at this desk every.dang.day. *sigh*
Have a wonderful holiday weekend!
Won't be long. June 8th we'll be at your house. 🙂
Your hubby is a keeper. You know that!
Our oldest granddaughter graduates HS in May and has received some nice scholarships. We are thankful for her success, and the many choices she has been offered.
Big hugs from rainy WPB, honey…
That rocks. Keeping the costs down with scholarships is the way to go. 🙂
You are a trophy! Today i am thankful for some extra work that may be coming my way.
Extra work equals extra money. I know things are a bit tight with you and yours now and then. 🙂
I am glad you have a lot to be thankful for. I am thankful for my 14 cats and very understanding husband.
One of my blogging buddies has 23 or 24 kitties. That's a lot of kitties. Nice to have an understanding husband too. 🙂
I am thankful for my Trophy Sweetheart! Since I am 3years older does that make me a COUGAR? He's the best husband in the whole world-generous and kind.
No, you're not a cougar. You just found the love of your life. Good for you. I have the best husband in the whole world too. 🙂
Trophy bride made me smile.
It makes me smile too Linda. 🙂
that is wonderful about your granddaughter!!!!!! Congrats to her!!! I am thankful that I got some of Cody's posts done in advance so that I can work on a HUGE review for Dakota the entire weekend!!! xoxo catchatwithcarenandcody
It is indeed. She's a good girl and a hard worker. Good luck on your HUGE review. 🙂
I have a sister like that and I love her dearly. Kudos to your granddaughter. Working hard towards a dream is a great thing!
Have a great weekend
I agree about working hard towards a dream. She's done just that. 🙂
It's really nice you two have such a good marriage.
We do Binky, we really do. 🙂
