I’m thankful that I’m spending another Christmas holiday with hubby. We have a wonderful day planned tomorrow and we always enjoy just the two of us doing dinner together and calling friends we’ve not talked to in a bit.
I’m thankful that we got some much needed rain this past week. Being in a severe drought is not fun one bit.
I’m thankful that our family got together for our Christmas dinner last week. We had a nice time as always.
I’m thankful for my health. There are days that I’m slower than others, but I’m on my feet without any aid. Growing old is a wonderful gift that often has hidden surprises.
I’m thankful for all my blogging buddies. You know who you are. Many of you I’ve met in person and many I’ve been visiting for years. You make going on line each day a delight.
I’m thankful that hubby and I are going on a long weekend trip to Rockaway Beach in Pacifica the first part of next month. We’ve not been there in years and it will be fun to return. We plan to enjoy lots of seafood and each other.

I'm thankful to spend another Christmas holiday with my husband and with his family. Although my family are many miles away, I'm thankful to at least talk with them by telephone.
I'm also thankful to have very little planned for the next few days. Paperwork is done at school. My reviews are almost done for another week. I have a wide open schedule. Even next week, my major plans are simply to read and hang out with friends.
Here we woke up to snow. My husband and I plan to take our cats out on leashes later to experience their first winter weather. I'm thankful for a house full of critters to love.
My health is not always the best. Somehow though it's been a blessing. It forces me to relax more, pray more, and feel thankful more for each new day. 😉
Enjoy your time with hubby and with friends. The trip to Rockaway Beach, along with meals of seafood, sounds delightful.

We will have our youngest daughter and family, SIL, and our two youngest granddaughters here for Christmas dinner. Her in-laws will also be here and perhaps our youngest son if he doesn't work.
We had the entire family over for super and white elephant exchange on December 6. There were about twenty-four (two great-grandchildren counted).
