I’m thankful for my husband that is always making sure I’m happy and have what I need. How I got so lucky I’ll never know, but I did and I thank my lucky stars everyday for such a wonderful person to share my life with.
I’m thankful that I live in a free country. There is much turmoil around the globe but what we experience here is very little compared to other parts of the world.
I’m thankful for our law enforcement officers. Having spent 25 years in uniform I know how difficult the job can be. I know that for the most part you are dealing with the worst of the worst. Without law enforcement there would be anarchy. I never want to see that.
I’m thankful that I have a roof over my head and a warm place to sleep at night. I’m thankful that I have food to eat and do not have to go hungry as many do every single day around the world.
I’m thankful that I live a wonderful life. It’s not been easy at times, but I never give up. I just dust myself off and move forward.
I’m thankful every morning when I wake up to a new day and new possibilities. Life is so wonderful we just need to take the time to look at all the wonders around us.
What are you thankful for today?

Great Thursday thankfulness. Many thanks for sharing as always!
We all have much to be thankful for. 🙂
You are so right. We just need to take the time to look around us.
Sometimes it's hard to take the time to see the good. 🙂
I am thankful that I still remember to BE thankful, realizing that so many don't have food in their bellies, clothes to wear or a roof over their heads. There sure seems to be a bunch of the new generation who have never been thankful for anything; they just want more more more.
big hugs xoxo
Being thankful is so simple. 🙂
It is a wonderful list! You do have much to be grateful for, as do I (and I'm grateful for both of those things). Happy Thurday to you!
Yes indeed my friend. Happy Thursday to you too. 🙂
You've got a great list of things to be thankful! I think it's sweet how your hubby made the number one spot on the list 🙂 It's a real blessing to find a someone to share your life with.
Hubby is my soul mate. I'm most fortunate to have found him. 🙂
Beautiful list, Sandee, and I agree! Thank you so much for sharing.
We just need to recognize we have so much to be thankful for. 🙂
Amen!
Have a very thankful Thursday Sandee & Zane. See ya.
Cruisin Paul
Thank you Paul. You have a thankful Thursday too my friend. 🙂
Fab list Sandee :-f
Have a thankfultastic Thursday :-h
Thank you Steve and you have a thankfultastic Thursday too. 🙂
Now those are some mighty good things to be thankful for. We are so thankful for a roof over our heads and for food to eat for the Mom and all the kitties and the donkeys. They all make me smile and I am very thankful that they all found me. Sandee, you and Zane have a great day.
We are warm and dry and we have food and the mom is always there to take care of all of you. Thankful indeed. 🙂
A good marriage is something to truly to be thankful for. Like you, I have found the perfect mate. She is more than willing to put up with someone who is far from perfect and seems to enjoy the challenge of living with me and my quirks.
We are both most happy about that. Having a perfect mate is the absolute best. 🙂
Sandee this is so lovely. Gratitude is such a wonderful attitude to have. It helps us make sure to live life to the fullest, even when times are hard.
Living life to the fullest is the absolute best part, even when times are hard. 🙂
What a wonderful and full list you have, Sandee. I am thankful for all of the same things that you are, except that my husband is gone but I am still thankful he was in my life.
I know you are Jean. You talk so kindly about him and so very often too. I can see the love. 🙂
We are short on a few things because of recent difficulties, but as you've noted we have it so much better than many people, there's room for only gratitude.
And you still give to the needy in spite of it all. That's being thankful. 🙂
Amen, amen, amen! It is good to be thankful. There is so much to be thankful for. Great post, Sandee!
Yes there is Nancy and I hear that thankfulness in so much of your writing. 🙂
I am thankful for so many things- my husband , our children and all our friends and family come first. A close second is the wonderful country we live in. It's not perfect, but so much better than so many other countries. Count your blessings!
I count my blessing often. Every single day. Each day is a gift. 🙂
Amen to that list. I will add safe drinking water. So many countries don't even have that, and so many children die as a result. Yes, we are mighty blessed.
Big hugs from balmy W Palm Beach, honey…
Yes, safe drinking water. Water is so essential to our longevity. 🙂
I love this post, Sandee. I'm grateful for my talented kind son, a roof over my head, my health, wonderful friends like you, and of course, Simon. :)))
Happy a happy day!
"Big Christmas Hugs"
Yes, and I'm thankful for you too. And Simon too. Big Christmas hugs to you too. 🙂
We all have so much to be thankful for… Today I'm thankful for my brothers. For the lessons they taught me.
And Anthony is having his 56th birthday today too. 🙂
I didn't know you were part of the police force once! I have the utmost respect for police officers, especially with the world we live in now. It's scary out there!
I spent 25 years at the Sheriff's Department. Went from Deputy to Sergeant and then Lieutenant. I loved every minute. I would hate it now. Things are so different. 🙂
What's this land of the free stuff? I'm in a cage!
You need to talk to your peeps about that cage. I can't help you from here. 🙂
I'm thankful for my hubby being my soul mate too! He makes me happy every day – well, most days! LOL! I'm thankful Isabella is all better and that Angel is my little velcro kitty. I'm also thankful to finally be done with Christmas presents and only need to mail them!
Happy Thankful Thursday Sandee! Hugs to you!
Looks like your world is rosy. I sure love your two babies. Just so you know. 🙂
Much to be thankful for.
I'm thankful that after your having spent 25 years in uniform, I never had to smell that uniform!
However, thanks for your service, it is a tough dangerous job.
I had the uniformed cleaned on a regular basis Joe. I was very neat and tidy, and all polished with very shiny shoes. You're most welcome. 🙂
I like your list. I too am thankful for my husband and our life together. I didn't know you were in law enforcement. I just wrote a thankful post and today I am most thankful for a highway patrolman. I appreciate all you did on the job too. I often think it's such a thankless job that so many would give it up for something else. And then where would we be?
I read your thankful post. What a nice thing for you to do. I know you will too. 🙂
I think I would like to borrow a lot of the same things that you are thankful for. It was a good reminder to be thankful for the things I take for granted. I am also thankful for my pets! 🙂
The list can go on and on and it should. 🙂
I am thankful that tonight I completed my LAST PRODUCT REVIEW FOR THE YEAR!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! Ohhh there are going to be changes next year……….BIG TIME! I need my life back! xoxoxo catchatwithcarenandcody
Oh I'm so happy for you. I know some of these have been very trying for you, but you do such a wonderful job with them. Excellent in fact. 🙂
Nice list, Sandee. I like the order you put them in also.
My list would be similar to yours, Mrs. Jim would be on top.
I am also glad to be able to retire with enough funds so far to have as an interesting 15 years retired life as my working life was interesting.
(Elgin Watch factory – 3 yrs / U.S. Army – 5 yrs/ Aerospace Engineer [Air Force Spy Satellite Tracking & NASA mission Control] – 17 years/ College Business Professor -22 yrs )
.)
You've had a very interesting working history. Fun too. 🙂
Great list. I'd have to say "ditto" to all of them.
Have a lovely day!
I love your thankful posts very much. You are where I got the idea. You're such an upbeat person. 🙂
Glad to see you linked up with us!!
It was about time I think. Thanks. 🙂
What a beautiful post! After a tiring day at work, I enjoyed reading your cheerful words.
I'm thankful for my husband too. We found each other late, but at least we're together now. Feeding outdoor critters has helped me better appreciate the warm and safe home I have. Every morning, I try to remember to thank God for being alive and healthy and happy for another day. Life is good, isn't it?
Life is more than good Allison. We just need to take the time to be thankful for all we have. 🙂
Even though none of our lives is perfect, we do have a lot to be thankful for.
Exactly Binky. Sometimes folks forget that. 🙂
Remembering to stop and look at the wonders around us is SO important, yet somehow so often forgotten. I'm glad there are so many things in your life which you have to be happy, thankful, and delighted about.
So often forgotten my way too many. I agree.
Thanks for visiting and commenting on Comedy Plus. 🙂
I'm so thankful for friends like you!
Bee
I'm thankful for friends like you too Bee. 🙂
It is so important to remember the everyday things – someone who makes us laugh, a roof over our heads. These are so important to remember always. Have a great week!
If we just take the time to look around us we can find many things to be thankful for. 🙂
Great list–family, freedom, home, hope! Merry Christmas!
You covered them all. Merry Christmas Kristi. 🙂
