Thankful Thursday

I’m thankful that hubby and I had a great time in Fort Bragg, Ca last weekend.

I’m thankful that we opted to stay at the North Cliff Hotel.

It is a beautiful hotel and had a beautiful ocean and bay view.

I’m thankful we ask at check in where a great place for dinner could be found. He highly recommended Point Noyo Restaurant. He was spot on. We liked it so much that we went Thursday night and again on Saturday night. Heavenly food and the service was outstanding.

I’m thankful that we got to explore some of the areas treasures. We traveled along the coast to see some really beautiful homes. We also enjoy visiting Point Cabrillo Light. It’s a beautiful lighthouse and the volunteer that was working that day was very informative about not only the lighthouse, but much of the area.

I’m thankful for this view for three nights and four days. Hubby and I left the sliding glass door open each night to listen to the fog horn and the ocean. We slept like babies.

I’m most thankful that hubby and I spent a lot of time together exploring just about every area in Fort Bragg and Mendocino.

On the drive home on Sunday hubby said, ‘Next December I want to go to Death Valley’. I’ve already booked our room at The Inn at Furnace Creek.

What are you thankful for today?

That's awesome that you had such a nice trip. I like to take little trips here and there too. 🙂 I'm thankful for Christmas. It makes everyone so happy (I know not everyone, but everyone I know, and I am thankful for the too). 🙂

What a great looking trip. Glad you had a great time. One really memorable trip each year is truly a blessing and something to be thankful for. I am indeed thankful that my health is still good enough to allow me to do most of the things I truly enjoy. Have a blessed week.

I'm also thankful for my family especially my lovely wife Mary Lou who has to put up with me at times. Thanks Mary Lou.
