It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.
I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.
Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.
Today I’m thankful for my family. Some have drifted out of our lives, by their choice, but so many are left that are such a blessing.
I’m thankful for my sister who has been a blessing all of my life. We have a wonderful bond.
I’m thankful that I have lived as long as I have. There have been so many wonderful experiences in my life. Some horrible pain too, but it just makes the good times even sweeter.
What are you thankful for today?
Family is indeed something to be thankful for, especially if there is a gem like your sister.
Yes, my sister is a gem. She just had a birthday too. We had a nice long chat on her birthday. 🙂
People come and people go but I’m always thankful for the ones that are in my life.
Yes indeed, Ann. Some are meant to stay and some are here today and gone tomorrow. 🙂
Be grateful for everything.✨ For you it’s your sister and for me is every moment ✨😉✍️
It’s every moment for me too. I’m so happy to be alive. 🙂
I am thankful for my job. Summers off are nice, but it’s awesome to get back in there too. I’m also thankful for the many ideas I have to help students succeed this year. I hope many of them are fruitful. 🙂
I can tell you’re a great teacher. That’s a good thing. Enjoy massaging those young minds. 🙂
Every day is something to be thankful for. Glad you have a real good family.
If we just look around there is so much to be thankful for. 🙂
We are thankful for all of our blogging friends and for all of my cats. They keep me busy and out of trouble. Sandee, you and Zane have a fantastic day.
You’re a blessing to me along with Smoke and Joe and all the kitties. You have a fantastic day too, Marg. 🙂
We are thankful for every single day.
I am too, Molly. Each day is a gift that we open and can spend it for good or not. I’m going for the good. 🙂
I’m thankful that I;m still alive being here in Amherstburg and not in Dayton or El Paso. I feel so bad for these people and their relatives. I wake up each morning seeing the bright sunshine and seeing my wife’s wonderful smile. Yes, I”m thankful. Have a great Thursday Sandee my friend.
Cruisin Paul
The world is upside down for sure. There have been mass shootings here for many years. It’s nothing new unfortunately. 🙂
I am thankful for life, just as you are. It’s so hard sometimes but there’s a lot of sweetness.
Yes indeed, it’s hard sometimes, but it makes the good times sweeter. 🙂
I am thankful to be gainfully employed, at a job that I enjoy (mostly) and presents me with challenges and routines.
Happy World Cat Day!
I had that kind of job when I worked too. It was a great career for me. Happy World Cat Day to you too. 🙂
I am thankful for the internet that keeps my far flung family together.
It’s a good way to stay connected when you live far apart. 🙂
I am also thankful for my family and my sister. A beautiful thankful post. Have a great day!
Yes, I am lucky to have my sister too. She’s a blessing. 🙂
Family is wonderful, I can’t imagine being without it. Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
There are some we avoid. One is crazy and the other is mean. Too much for us to deal with. 🙂
Thankful for the much needed rain and for a day to rest and reflect upon so many blessings…
Yes indeed, Bette. I would enjoy some rain here too. 🙂
I’m thankful to have met you online! And that Italian vista is gorgeous! ~hugs~ Thanks for sharing.
I’m thankful I met you too, Darla. You’re delightful. Hugs back. 🙂
We are so thankful for our family…both those related and those chosen!
Amen to both and especially the chosen. They are most special. 🙂
Amen to that. I’m thankful for my parents, who are still have just as good a sense of humour at 71 as they did when they were younger, and I’m grateful we get on so well. I hope you’re having a good week, Sandee ♥
Caz xx
I’m a bit younger than your parents. I could be your mom. Just saying. 🙂
A sense of humour is a great thing to have, and 71 isn’t old, I’m not really sure why I mentioned their age. I’m also not sure where my brain was at when I wrote that comment as it makes no sense! Blame it on tiredness. I meant to ask before – does your sister live nearby, do you get to see her often?xx
She does live about and hour from me. She’s pretty disabled and has trouble walking and standing, but we do talk via cell phone and Facebook often. 🙂
Family and friends are such a blessing through good and bad times!
Yes indeed, Kathe. Big healing hugs to you. 🙂
Thankful there is rain in the forecast.
We could use some here too, but the farmers don’t want any until much later. 🙂
Some family lives far away and that’s fine with me.
I hear you. Some I don’t want to see. Too much drama and craziness. 🙂
You have no idea.
Beautiful thankfuls today!
Thank you, my friend. 🙂
I have a few drifters in my herd too. I call they seem happy to hear from me and we have nice conversations…however, months pass and it is me calling again. Lines of communication run both ways but I keep
trying.
Hugs Cecilia
I hear you. It’s what happens and often it’s a good thing. Hugs back. 🙂
you are so sensitive and kind, I love this post! You KNOW what I am thankful for today and I THANK YOU for your incredibly sweet and loving comment on I believe Cody’s blog today. We just love you to pieces! Happy International Cat Day!
I love you and your boys. I know you know that. 🙂
Your ‘thankfuls’ are always so ‘right on’ ~ thanks so much for the Happy Birthday wishes ~ !!!

aka (A Creative Harbor)
Thank you and I hope you’re having a great birthday, Carol. Happy day to you and Ms. Zoe. 🙂
We too are thankful for our wonderful lives and family. Some days are not so good, but the good ones more than make up for those tougher ones.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Some days are not so good indeed. It’s just the way of things. Scritches to the pups. 🙂
That is nice that you and your sister are so close. Have a great day! XO
You have a great day too, Ellen. 🙂
Happy Thankful Thursday. We love hearing that you and your sister are close. We have a big family and stay in touch, but just wish with each other more often. Thanks for the share. Have a wonderful day.
My sister, granddaughter and three greats we are close. We are happy about that. 🙂
What a blessing a sister must be, i never got one (just two stinky brothers, although i do love them).
Two stinky brothers. Bwahahahahaha. I’ve heard they have cooties. 🙂
Your sister is a blessing. My family wants nothing to do with me.
I am thankful for 31 years of marriage. ((Hugs))
I can’t imagine why your family wants nothing to do with you. You’re so wonderful. 🙂
Great choices Sandee. Have a beautiful weekend. PHAMILY is always good to make one happy. HUGS
Phamily is always good to make one happy indeed. 🙂
I am thankful for Tylenol! My workout class yesterday helped to remind me of that little modern blessing 🙂
Hope you have a lovely weekend!
Yes Tylenol helps doesn’t it. I hope you feel better soon. You have a lovely weekend. 🙂
Hi Sandee, bad experiences do make the sweet time sweeter. Highs and lows, swings and roundabouts without them life could become a little mundane… I am constantly thankful for living a simple life in such a beautiful place, i honestly fills my heart with joy!
xx
I’m living a simple life too. Not in the beauty you live in, but still. 🙂
I am thankful for so much, but I’ll just say, my cyber friends have helped me today – unwittingly, but help nonetheless. XXOO
That’s a wonderful thing, my friend. 🙂
On Thankful Thursday I was thankful to be at the beach in Maine for a couple days! 🙂
Oh the beach is always a great place to hang out for a few days. Enjoy that thankful. 🙂
We can’t choose family, but we can choose our friends. It’s always a bonus when their both. Sending you love from an old blogging buddy.
Yes indeed, and I have some great friends. Love you back Lisa. I follow you on Facebook. 🙂
