Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

Today I’m thankful for my family. Some have drifted out of our lives, by their choice, but so many are left that are such a blessing.

I’m thankful for my sister who has been a blessing all of my life. We have a wonderful bond.

I’m thankful that I have lived as long as I have. There have been so many wonderful experiences in my life. Some horrible pain too, but it just makes the good times even sweeter.

What are you thankful for today?

I am thankful for my job. Summers off are nice, but it’s awesome to get back in there too. I’m also thankful for the many ideas I have to help students succeed this year. I hope many of them are fruitful. 🙂

I’m thankful that I;m still alive being here in Amherstburg and not in Dayton or El Paso. I feel so bad for these people and their relatives. I wake up each morning seeing the bright sunshine and seeing my wife’s wonderful smile. Yes, I”m thankful. Have a great Thursday Sandee my friend.

The world is upside down for sure. There have been mass shootings here for many years. It’s nothing new unfortunately. 🙂

Amen to that. I’m thankful for my parents, who are still have just as good a sense of humour at 71 as they did when they were younger, and I’m grateful we get on so well. I hope you’re having a good week, Sandee  ♥

A sense of humour is a great thing to have, and 71 isn’t old, I’m not really sure why I mentioned their age. I’m also not sure where my brain was at when I wrote that comment as it makes no sense! Blame it on tiredness. I meant to ask before – does your sister live nearby, do you get to see her often?xx

She does live about and hour from me. She’s pretty disabled and has trouble walking and standing, but we do talk via cell phone and Facebook often. 🙂

I have a few drifters in my herd too. I call they seem happy to hear from me and we have nice conversations…however, months pass and it is me calling again. Lines of communication run both ways but I keep
    trying.

We too are thankful for our wonderful lives and family. Some days are not so good, but the good ones more than make up for those tougher ones.

Hi Sandee, bad experiences do make the sweet time sweeter. Highs and lows, swings and roundabouts without them life could become a little mundane… I am constantly thankful for living a simple life in such a beautiful place, i honestly fills my heart with joy!

I am thankful for so much, but I’ll just say, my cyber friends have helped me today – unwittingly, but help nonetheless. XXOO

We can’t choose family, but we can choose our friends. It’s always a bonus when their both. Sending you love from an old blogging buddy.
