Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

Today, although a sad day for us, is a time to reflect on a friendship we’ve had for many years. Today we bury that friend after a long illness. She will be missed, but never forgotten.

Today we will be with our friends husband who has lost his life partner. This has been extremely difficult for him and we want to make sure we’re there for him.

Today is a sad day, but we are thankful for the wonderful memories and happier days these two have given us. Hug those you love today and let them know you love them. Let them know you are thankful they are in your life.

What are you thankful for today?
