It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.
I think it’s a good thing to do each week.
Focus on the positive things in our lives.
Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.
I’m thankful that I have all my medical appointments almost completed. It seems when you are in your late 60s you spend a lot of time going from one medical appointment to another. Nothing wrong, it’s just the way of things.
I’m thankful that hubby and I are pretty healthy. We are funny to watch sometimes when we get up after being seated for a bit. We just laugh at ourselves and move on. Well we move on as soon as we work out the kinks.
I’m thankful for my friends. I have a lot of acquaintances, but just a few friends. They know who they are. They are most precious to me.
I’m thankful for all the pups and kitties I visit each week. You all bring me such joy. Many I love and that’s a wonderful thing.
What are you thankful for today?
We’re Thankful we know you, Sandee and to read that all is well. Life’s good huh 😺Pawkisses for a Happy Fourth🐾😽💞
I’m happy about it too. Pawkisses back, Little Binkey. My best to your peeps. 🙂
I’m learning about those kinks that have to be worked out when you first stand up…lol
I’m thankful for the wonderful blog friends I have who keep me going
Yes and you’re way younger than I am. It doesn’t get any better. 🙂
I am one of these pathetic people whose life is mostly online today. I love my life and the wonderful people like you who are there for me.
You’re a home body and there isn’t anything wrong with that. 🙂
Being healthy and knowing so many wonderful people on- and offline are great things to be thankful for.
I hope when we are about your age we will be as cool as you!
Aw. thank you, viola. Remember it’s a frame of mind. 🙂
A lovely list for this week 🙂
I’m thankful for pain medications and modern medicine today, they’re going to help me get through the day!
Happy Independence Day to you all over there 🙂
xx
I’m happy you have all those things too. Bless you my friend. 🙂
I am very THANKFUL to have found your wonderful blog and become furfriends with you
Loves and licky kisses
Princess Leah xxx
I’m happy we found each other too, Princess Leah. 🙂
So grateful for blogger friends like you, Sandee! Last Monday I tried my first cycling class at age 70! I’m thankful I’m still mobile! LOL! 😀 GOD BLESS AMERICA! Happy Independence Day!
Good for you. That’s the ticket. Happy Independence Day. 🙂
When we have our health everything else falls into place.
Hugs Cecilia
Yes indeed, Cecilia. Big hug. 🙂
Those are just the best things to be thankful for, that is for sure. Health is one of the main things I am thankful for right now. Sure things hurt but I am still here. SAndee, you and Zane have super Fourth of July.
We are fortunate indeed, Marg. Have a super Fourth of July too. 🙂
We agree with Miss Cecilia. When you have your health – you have everything! Happy Fourth!
I agree with both of you. Health is key. Happy Fourth. 🙂
Happy July 4th!
Getting old isn’t for the meek.
No it’s not and hubby and I are doing just fine with getting old together. 🙂
Purrfect thankfuls and yes, the peeps make some noises whrn they get up after sitting for a while. Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop and Happy Independence Day from all of us!
Yes, and sometimes it’s a very slow process of getting up. Oh well, at least we can still get up. 🙂
Happy 4th of July to you and the hubby!
Thank you so much. Scritches to the pups. 🙂
I’m thankful for the freedom that I have, my grandchildren, my beautiful wife Mary Lou, my children, my friends especially my blogger friends and my life that God has given me. See ya Sandee.
Cruisin Paul
You’re much to be thankful for, Paul. It’s a good thing too. 🙂
It’s easy here. There are some streets where every building is a medical office or hospital. A quack on every corner.
We have the same kinds of streets here too, Kismet. It’s a good thing. 🙂
I’m grateful to be healthy and still able to get around easily. Happy Thursday!
I’m doing pretty good too. 🙂
👍
What wonderful things to be thankful for!
Happy Independence Day!
If we just take the time we can come up with all kinds of thankful things. 🙂
I love your photo commemorating Independence Day! And, I resemble your remarks about getting up after sitting a while. 🙂 And, then we think we’re 30-something again and try and move heavy furniture! I hope you and yours have safe and happy celebrations today. ❤️
I remember moving furniture. I thought nothing of it in my younger years. Kills me now and I need lots of help. 🙂
Have a blessed Independence Day! And that photo is cool. Having ridden in a hot air balloon, I cannot believe it’s a real image as ocean winds I’ve experienced are highly unpredictable but I like the lighthouse in the scene with the balloons’ pretty contrasting brilliance. Be well!
I thought is was most unique. I’d be afraid to get in one. I’ve a fear of heights. 🙂
Happy Fourth of July!! May the Fourth be with you…((Hugs)))
Thanks, Michelle. I’m having a wonderful day so far. 🙂
I will have to say along with most my good health is something to be thankful for. Happy Fourth!
Yes it is. It’s the best gift one can have. 🙂
Great thankfuls. That “getting up” seems to get harder and harder as we age. Have a happy and safe 4th. Sawyer and Cooper Murphy send purrs. Hugs, Janet
I’ll happily except Sawyers and Cooper Murphy’s purrs. 🙂
Thank you for your visits to our blog and your kind words today. We are trying to get back on a regular basis, but it is going to be a while yet. Hang with us – we are trying:)
Happy Fourth of July!!!
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
You’re most welcome. I love your pups and you. Happy 4th. 🙂
Happy 4th!!! We are thankful for you, we are thankful for our furmily and we are thankful that Terry from Brian’s Home had a super successful surgery! That made us soooo happy and thankful! Have a safe and Happy 4th!
Yes we are happy about his surgery too. Best news ever. Happy 4th. 🙂
Thankful for faith, freedom, family and so much more… Amen! <3
Yes indeed, Bette. 🙂
Happy Fourth of July, Sandee!
Thankful we can still get around, even with a few kinks to work out!
Happy 4th of July! <3
Yep, we’re on the right side of the dirt. 🙂
My mom and hubby both have a tough time getting up and walking. I am thankful for your friendship. Happy 4th!!XO
Yep, hubby is 70+ and I’m in my late 60s. It doesn’t get any better. 🙂
Luke is thankful to be one of the pups you visit that bring you joy. We love your comments. ♥
Aging is not for the feint of heart, is that not what they say? I am in my late 50’s, and hubby early 60’s, and we already feel those aches and pains at times. I do not like doctors so do not look forward to a time when I will have to visit them more! LOL
I love Luke. He’s such a fun pup.
I’m in my late 60s and hubby is in his early 70s. We are at the doctors office more than we like, but we go and do what’s required. 🙂
You are such a gem! It is a real privilege knowing you. I enjoy spending time creating posts to share and always enjoy your posts. We aren’t are quick as we once were but we keep keeping on. Thankful for so much but especially good blogging friends and sharing all these posts. Have a great weekend. HUSG and LOVE
You’re been a gem of mine for a very long time and I’m thankful for that. 🙂
Happy 4th July! A lovely thankful post. I am thankful too for the little things we tend to take for granted.
Yes the little things are the very best. We just have to notice them. Happy Friday, Nancy. 🙂
Hope you had a great July 4th! I’m grateful for all the small things that together, build a rich life.
Yes there are so many small things that make life so sweet. 🙂
Oh yes, those post 60 creaks. That brought a big smile to my ancient joints and bones. Keep up the good work, physically as well as bringing smiles to your readers.
Yes, I can creak very well. We just roll with them. 🙂
“Lurching around like Frankenstein” is a description someone used once to describe how they are when they first get up. Pretty much sums it up! 🙂 Glad to know you and your hubby are relatively healthy, Sandy! Without good health, everything else becomes less important. I’m thankful for that, too, minor aches, pains and annoyances aside.
I know. Yes health is so very important. 🙂
I am thankful to know you! I took the week off for a little celebrating of birthdays and holidays, but I am coming back now 🙂 Happy 4th of July!
I’m happy to call you a friend too, Jen. 🙂
I’m just thankful to wake UP! Second chances and all.
Me too, UP. Me too. 🙂
