Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.

I think it’s a good thing to do each week.

Focus on the positive things in our lives.

Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.

I’m thankful that I have all my medical appointments almost completed. It seems when you are in your late 60s you spend a lot of time going from one medical appointment to another. Nothing wrong, it’s just the way of things.

I’m thankful that hubby and I are pretty healthy. We are funny to watch sometimes when we get up after being seated for a bit. We just laugh at ourselves and move on. Well we move on as soon as we work out the kinks.

I’m thankful for my friends. I have a lot of acquaintances, but just a few friends. They know who they are. They are most precious to me.

I’m thankful for all the pups and kitties I visit each week. You all bring me such joy. Many I love and that’s a wonderful thing.

What are you thankful for today?

I am one of these pathetic people whose life is mostly online today. I love my life and the wonderful people like you who are there for me.

Those are just the best things to be thankful for, that is for sure. Health is one of the main things I am thankful for right now. Sure things hurt but I am still here. SAndee, you and Zane have super Fourth of July.

I love your photo commemorating Independence Day! And, I resemble your remarks about getting up after sitting a while. 🙂 And, then we think we’re 30-something again and try and move heavy furniture! I hope you and yours have safe and happy celebrations today. ❤️

    • Sandee says:

I remember moving furniture. I thought nothing of it in my younger years. Kills me now and I need lots of help. 🙂

Have a blessed Independence Day! And that photo is cool. Having ridden in a hot air balloon, I cannot believe it’s a real image as ocean winds I’ve experienced are highly unpredictable but I like the lighthouse in the scene with the balloons’ pretty contrasting brilliance. Be well!

Luke is thankful to be one of the pups you visit that bring you joy. We love your comments. ♥
Aging is not for the feint of heart, is that not what they say? I am in my late 50’s, and hubby early 60’s, and we already feel those aches and pains at times. I do not like doctors so do not look forward to a time when I will have to visit them more! LOL

    • Sandee says:

I love Luke. He’s such a fun pup.

I’m in my late 60s and hubby is in his early 70s. We are at the doctors office more than we like, but we go and do what’s required. 🙂

You are such a gem! It is a real privilege knowing you. I enjoy spending time creating posts to share and always enjoy your posts. We aren’t are quick as we once were but we keep keeping on. Thankful for so much but especially good blogging friends and sharing all these posts. Have a great weekend. HUSG and LOVE

“Lurching around like Frankenstein” is a description someone used once to describe how they are when they first get up. Pretty much sums it up! 🙂 Glad to know you and your hubby are relatively healthy, Sandy! Without good health, everything else becomes less important. I’m thankful for that, too, minor aches, pains and annoyances aside.

  18. Jen says:

I am thankful to know you! I took the week off for a little celebrating of birthdays and holidays, but I am coming back now 🙂 Happy 4th of July!
